#38 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES…read more A cute little coffee shop with lots of speciality drinks and some Asian inspired drinks. They have a few tables to sit and study or chat with friends. If this was closer to me I would come and do work here. Perfect lighting for good study vibes. The drinks were just okay though. My partner got their thai tea which was watered down and not very strong. I got a latte with cold foam which I enjoyed, just not as much as other places. Overall, the service was good, love the vibe of the coffee shop but the drinks were mediocre.

This is an updated review based upon my first visit to Krafted's new location in the same building…read more I suggested their old location wouldn't win any beauty contests. Well now, they're Miss Freakin' America. The space is gorgeous. And they aced the talent competition too. I almost exclusively drink iced coffee, and I don't always love Iced Americanos. But here, they were up front about the fact that it would be an Iced Americano, when some places are sneaky about it. I appreciate that. I also liked that they offered three single origins as options. I went with the Papua New Guinea. It was great. Krafted is serious about coffee. Now they have a serious location too. 5 Stars

This coffee roaster is tucked away on the side of a building and offers the best beans you will get anywhere. They roast their own in house and so far my husband and I have tried the Bantam, Mexico and Nicaragua blends and all are fantastic and so unique. Our go to order is the maple latte which I will rave about until the end of time to everyone. They also have a small but delicious selection of baked goods to choose from but our personal favorite are the chocolate chip cookies! The workers and owner are also so kind and have great recommendations! Krafted Brew Lab is a must visit!

Colin is a part of the incredible staff I've gotten a chance to meet at the coffee shop. I've ordered a chai iced latte w/sugar-free caramel syrup n a blueberry cold foam they had on their specials menu. Their Mike's Mint Chip w/mint cold foam is also delicious. The bagels w bacon (or sausage), egg n cheese are so good. The bagels come out crispy after they toast it and it just melts in your mouth. They also have a wide-selection of board games that are available to be played in the shop. A table w/four seats is available to use for this. This is an amazing place to relax with your meal n coffee, or if you wanna sit on their sofas or seats to get into a book you've been waiting to read, the lighting definitely changes the vibes into a mellow atmosphere.

This spot just opened up in October 2025 and they deserve all the love. Their drinks are delicious and they have many seasonal flavors. I decided to get a February 2026 special drink: the red velvet latte. It was topped with a cream cheese foam and my goodness was it delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try more drinks. They also have great service and a good space to study, do work, or chat with family and friends. They also have a little area in the back for board games.

Yeah, I totally forgot to review this on Saturday when I actually went. Now that I've made my way…read moreback here, I can now finally work on this review in earnest. I've been meaning to come to this place for a short while now. Honestly, the name of this establishment itself is pretty cool. Loaded Goat? Makes me think "liddy on a stack", and anything that makes me think "liddy on a stack" I gotta go check out. I actually tried to write a review here from the last week, but as I was writing, I'd realized something I don't always come across. I was at an impasse and couldn't finish this review on that visit, so I had to plan another trip here. Right away, I notice that rustic interior that's also quite cozy. There many flavors of coffees and latte to choose from with shots if you want something a little extra. Also, the prices here are very reasonable. I didn't get time to sit inside last time, but this time I had a much more laid-back experience. The vibe reminds me a little of a North Carolina ambiance with a splash of California mixed in for good measure. North Carolina because of the interior, and California because of the music. On this visit, the guy tending to me told me the microwave was down, so I couldn't have my croissant toasted. That was quite alright though since I had 2 more stops to make anyway, with one being about half hour's drive away from here. Besides, the croissant was still one of the better croissants I've had in a long time and seasoned perfectly, so I have no complaints, toasted or not. The coffees I had were the Snickers on my first visit and the Coconut Creme Pie Latte this time around. Both lattes were, indeed, liddies on stacks! They were both GOATED, and honestly I would come here more often if my schedules were more friendly to coming here. I have no complaints about this place period. I don't say this following kind of statement often, but I actually prefer this to Starbuck's! That's just how goated this place is.

I like my coffee sweet, so the self-service bar was perfect for customizing. Somewhere they say this is the #1 coffee in the state... I'm not so sure. A new day, a new coffee place to start a morning…read more I've actually been sitting on this review since August 8th, and originally, I was going to wait for another visit before I gave this a proper review. However, the more time I have actually had to sit with my thoughts of it, the more I realized I could just write one now and possibly update it later. So here we are at Cheshire Coffee, a coffee spot that sits oddly enough on the Waterbury side of the town line with Cheshire. Seriously, this place I don't even have to go outside my city limits for, and it is, notably enough in between the same two exits on I-84 as Blackie's is across the line. Much like The Loaded Goat Coffee Company in Naugatuck, this place is very inviting, cozy, with great coffees and excellent customer service. This visit involved an asiago bagel toasted with cream cheese, a beef chimichurri sandwich that the baristas panini-pressed for me, and a Churro Latte. All 3 of these things were good to great. Really, this review is mainly a 4-star review in the way that a place I don't have much of an impression on would get 4 stars. I would need to come back for more things to decide whether or not a 5th star would be warranted. But the interior helps makes a strong case for that star. I was most impressed with the poem on display as I was waiting for my coffee. It's not a detail I've shared yet here on Yelp, but this visit 's prompt me to say this now. So fun fact about me is that once upon a time, I wrote poetry. Late sophomore year of high school and going for a few years after and starting in 2007, I wrote poems any time I felt inspired to do so. I once attended a poetry slam that was held by my high school later in 2007 when I was in the first half of my junior year, and boy was that a great experience! Seeing the poem on display, I am really starting to think about getting back into writing poetry. I just need to find a muse and inspirations. This is honestly a great coffee option if I want to start traveling anywhere eastbound towards Hartford and such. I would totally come back in a situation that allows for it and try some other items.
