We called roadside assistance numerous times and waited for an Uber ride. After 3 hours of continued discussions, an Uber ride came to pick up only 3 not 4 of us. No! How can we leave one of us there? ! There was no Uber or car service available at Palmer; no car was willing to take us home which was over 50 miles away. All staff at Dunkin were very kind. We were able to seat our old parents (over 85 years old) inside and enjoyed sandwiches and coffee inside the well heated Dunkin! Nick spotted our car service while we were waiting at the other entrance. The whole ordeal finally came to a closure after over 6 hours. BMW roadside assistance was extremely helpful. Eric understood our situation and went above and beyond to find us a car service, not an Uber. Thanks Eric army BMW! We are grateful to meet great, nice, kind people like you (Nick, the guy and gal prepared our sandwiches and drinks. Sport that I did not ask your names), especially when we are far away from home! We are on a long road trip and the play place will allow our little guy to get out at stretch his legs. Where do I start? Everything was completely filthy. Food from customers were still on tables and all the tables were absolutely disgusting. Nothing had been whipped down in hours. I found this to be odd since it seemed like employees were chatting/gossiping. Another parents nightmare was the play place. The wipes that are supposed to be there were completely empty and seemed like it had been for a long time. Inside the play area had food crumbs, spilled ice cream, hair; human and animal that stuck to my child's shorts. I had my own wipes so I started attempting to wipe things down. The wipes turned brown. The bathroom in this area has a soap dispenser that's no longer on the wall. I attempted to pick it up and get soap, but the automatic dispenser did nothing. Honestly please do not be tricked by the fact there is a play place here, unless you are okay with your child climbing around in other people's filth. I guess at least the little guy enjoyed himself.

Worst of all, I have anxiety pretty bad and whenever I go in to get my coffee, my anxiety sky rockets because every person that works there looks at me like they want to kill me, so I stutter my words...and then they get annoyed with me that I am taking to long to place my order. This was one of the fast food places we found on the way. This was the first time ever I've seen the original mascot Speedee at a McDonald's. I didn't know there was a different mascot prior to Ronald McDonald. This little guy is a jaunty, pudgy, winking little chef with a hamburger for a head and a chef's hat meant to advertise McDonald's speedy service. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of him ¯\_('~')_/¯ He was also the first company logo before the use of the arches design from 1962. They retired Mr Speedee in 1962, one year after they started using the arches. The Golden Arches is how I identify McDonald's. Some older McDonald's stores still have a Speedee sign in front. This location looks like a new or re-built one without updating the sign. It was pretty neat to see. Loved how they made their Filet-O-Fish. Tasty, fresh, and delicious. Good amount of tartar sauce too! Friendly service. This McDonald's is located at a Gulf gas station in Ludlow MA. Review #3007
