Very cool coffee shop in an old house with a friendly vibe. We had just gotten back from an international trip and stopped here for breakfast. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are fresh and generous. I had a Greek style one with feta, spinach and eggs. They have a ton of latte flavors. My pistachio one hit the spot. Lots of local art wares on display for sale too. I'm not even sure how I haven't written review for this spot because I'm a frequent flyer lol. I use the points program that I get a little something for every few visits and on my birthday which is nice (usually $5 each time). So this place has hundreds of stellar reviews I need not repeat the same info but to be clear, to the point and the most informative- you must and I mean MUST find an excuse to come here on a Tuesday to have the tacos. This is not a joke, but rather the not so secret secret of the area that the best tacos you're going to find outside of an authentic joint (nothing around here compares - seriously not even condesa) and to boot ? They are about $2-3$ each and there is no minimum (or maximum lol) you can get on an order. I found that 3 is the perfect portion for a hearty lunch as they STUFF them with the filling of choice. Those choosings rotate weekly but typically 2 options of protein - I haven't seen a meat free offering but I am sure you can ask for a substitute or go veggie. There isn't a bad option or one better than the other they are astoundingly delicious and well prepared/packaged so even if you do take out you are not going to be having soggy tacos. The lunch time line on any day is very long so order ahead if you can. I don't have any rave reviews of the baked stuff in the case but I'll get a few mini muffkins on the way out of taco Tuesday as a treat after a savory lunch. I need not boast about the coffee, espresso or drinks because they are all wonderful and the seasonal drink menu rotation is also equally as lovely so try them if you can but some can be pricey. I gotta say the only negative thing about SCH is the layout of the actual location, the line formation, places to stand for your coffee or whatever during peak times (which for them is fortunately a lot! ) and if I want to be selfish I wish they closed later than 2pm but only because they have a really solid lunch menu that could easily replace late lunch. Besides the tacos I can say honorable mentions are the hummus wrap, burgers, and quesadillas. Hard to miss, sorta a pain to park, but 1000000% worth the effort and a little wait. read more

We stopped here for breakfast on our drive from Boston to NY and we're so glad we did. The place has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and feels very authentic. The coffee was excellent and both breakfast sandwiches were delicious. The lox bagel was fresh and full of flavor and the croissant with egg and sausage was amazing. Everything tasted fresh, the service was friendly, and it was the perfect stop before getting back on the road. Love the antique home vibe at Sturbridge Coffee House! I've been to Sturbridge Coffee House twice now for dine-in and take-out, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. It has a beautiful, eclectic antique home vibe with plenty of great seating options both indoors and outdoors. My first visit was for a quick to-go order. The hot coffee was a bit strong for my taste, but the iced coffee was excellent. I returned on a Sunday to eat in--there was a long line, but it went much faster than I expected! They have a good-sized menu with tons of coffee flavors. The egg sandwiches were huge. I ordered the avocado toast. You get two large pieces; the bottom of the toast was burnt, but it still tasted good! Topped it off with an iced latte that was creamy deliciousness. There are parking spaces right on the level of the coffee shop, as well as some spots in a lower lot near the restaurant on the lower level.It is a wonderful local spot. I don't remember the exact names of everything they had on the menu, but I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area! read more

We tried it out at 10 on a Saturday morning and spent 40 min waiting in a line that wrapped around one of the dining rooms. The staff was friendly and jovial and the atmosphere was simple, and at least well cooled. The food was average but the drink was very good. Maybe I'll try back on a weekday. read more

Been eating there for years. I had one bad drink and made a comment on their Facebook post politely saying that their drink was not a good choice of flavor combination. Apparently their fragile egos were offended by this because they felt so begrieved by this honest review that they not only removed my comment, they also blocked me so that I could never see or interact with their posts again. Worst customer service imaginable, and poor businesss ethics that combine into a shifty organization that does not deserve patronage. read more

Nice service and obviously popular (busy!) We did not like either of our drinks. The chai especially was not flavorful. The egg burrito was ok - but pricey considering the quality and presentation. Energy on a Sunday morning was lively so not the place to go for a chill, quiet, workspace. read more

Driving by and stopped in after seeing reviews online. If you didn't know where or what this was you would totally miss the building all together. Surprised when I went inside as it was way bigger than I expected. Lots of options and a little overwhelming with the amount of food and coffee offered. Great amount of seating inside and out. I love this place, but it hasn't priced me out. Last week I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon, and a small latte, it was $21.00.

This place was a great breakfast stop on a road trip! It's easily accessible off the Pike with a big parking lot and lots on seating space, both inside and outside. On arriving into the coffee shop, there are tons of cute items for purchase from local vendors which is a nice touch. The menu is clearly displayed (a little ahead of the ordering counter which is nice to allow you to really look at it!) and is extensive for both breakfast and lunch with multiple vegetarian options. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches (bagels) and two iced coffees. They have some flavored ice coffee with syrup and some brewed right into the beans (without sugar). There's also a huge baked good selection all of which looked amazing. They have some smaller danishes and mini muffins too which is great if you want a small treat. The seating space is ample with differently sized tables for all groups. The food was tasty - bagels were great (a little on the denser/chewy side but very enjoyable) and the fillings were substantial. Coffees were large and did the job! As we walked in, we saw a pretty good sized line waiting to order, so right off the bat I knew this was a popular place. The line snaked us past a big menu board of lunch sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, salads, smoothies and coffees. Soon we were in front of a service window, and realized this was for pick ups and not ordering. Soon we made our way to a second counter and showcases at the front of the line. We ordered a Best BLT on a croissant ($13.50) and a Sanchez breakfast sandwich ($7.75). After we gave our order, the young lady attached the prder ticket to a metal clip that was attached to an overhead wire, reached back, and gave it a might fling over to the first service window area which was the kitchen. Pretty cool!! The BLT had a good portion of thick cut bacon, It was served with just a pickle slice, so I think the $13.50 was a bit overpriced. My Sanchez was a Jalapeno Cheddar bagel, fried egg, pepper jack cjeese, chipotle mayo, and Boar's Head thick cut bacon. It was delicious and priced right at $7.75) I also had a medium cappucino that was one of the very best I ever had. We also grabbed a big slice of blueberry coffee cake to take home with us. We really loved our visit and had the BLT been priced differently, this would have been a 5-Star review. read more

Pictures of Sturbridge Coffee House coffee's have been coming up on my Facebook feed and absolutely tempting me for months... I've had to be dairy free for my baby so I was hesitant about making the 25 minute trip, but was pleasantly surprised when I messaged on Instagram asking about dairy free options. I got a wonderful list of options so I made the trip and got a French toast flavored ice coffee with oatmilk. I was devastated that I don't order the bucket option available at the time because it was TO DIE FOR. I decided to return as an Easter treat today, and now that I can have dairy, and the drive-through line was loooong. Two cars pulled out of line ahead of us before we even moved. Figured we made the trip and had nothing better to do so we waited... We ended up in the line for *forty-five minutes*. We did not get any acknowledgment about the wait as we ordered or picked up the coffee which was literally the least they could do. The coffees this time (a crème brûlée order) were pretty blah and basic to me- though my husband was happy with his. So two different visits with vastly different experiences, but I'm giving them a break due to maybe holiday busy-ness. Still would have at least appreciated a "sorry about the wait", but, what can ya do! read more

Love the food at this place! Everything is good. My favorite sandwich is the Reuben; it's the best in town. It's a great little place to sit outside for breakfast and lunch. Wonderful breakfast stop! This place has all the comforts & quirks that make Sturbridge a fun place to visit! The fact that it's built inside an old home, turns the homeliness scale up a notch. We had avocado on sourdough with almonds, a cortado and a yogurt parfait. The service was quick and prompt. The condiment bar was nothing like I've seen before agave, simple syrup brown white sugar honey and more. I can't remember but they also had a wide range of sauces. Everything was delicious. I LOVED my BLT and Morning Meditation Juice. It was actually so unbelievably yummy. It did take a while for the food to come out, but I think it was worth the wait. Friendly staff. Strawberry pop tart was delicious. Lots of cool goods for sale. Amazing flavor options for coffee. We both had an iced latte the biggest one they had - felt like it needed another shot of two or espresso ... didn't taste much like coffee; too much milk. Love that they have colorful crazy straws as an option for your drink! Would def go back - interested to try their cold brew or something that doesn't have espresso.
