The staff was very friendly, and we really wanted to love this place, but most of the food was bland. The kicker was the procurement fee that turned out to be an extra charge for using a credit card (which it is illegal in MA to charge more for using a credit card).

What a great experience tonight at Figlio. Brought my wife and 87 year old father in law. My father in law Kenny was great friends with the owner Bobby's father Frankie Dog. Bobby made Kenny his favorite clams and linguini as he knew we were bringing him in. Kenny reminisced all night about his great times with Frankie and even had some funny stories about Bobby. All 5 courses of food were spectacular, but the joy that Kenny expressed was priceless. We truly appreciated the thoughtfulness, great food and wonderful staff of Figlio. We will definitely bring him back again and recommend you give Figlio a try as well. Thanks guys!!! And a big shout out to the front man Bernie.

Wonderful Italian dinner. The atmosphere felt like home with Nonny cooking in the kitchen. Their 5 course dinner is a dining experience with a real Matradee and excellent dinner service. Glad to have this fine dining in town.

Booked this while I was visiting my parents. Took them there Saturday before Mother's Day for a 5 course meal. Friday & Saturday are Prefix for dinner. Everything from the service getting greeted right away & our table ready to the atmosphere was amazing! Their decor is from the 1920's and it is cozy & feels like you're at a relatives dining room. Family owned. Also they did not try to rush us. they asked if we were ready for our next course before bringing it out. The sauce amazing- fresh and def homemade. Salad was amazing too. My favorite dessert was the pistachio cake. My mom loved the lemon cake and dad tiramisu. Will definitely be back!

From the food, staff to the atmosphere, everything is lovely. It's now our favorite local spot. It's a taste of Boston's North End in downtown Palmer. We even hosted an intimate gathering for my Mom's birthday here. We love it! Definitely check it out.

Hi. Excited for your new place, Do we need To call & make Reservations?? 🍞🍝Thanks🫑🧄🥕🧅🍅

Yes you do. Highly recommend because they only reserve 5 tables a night. But you have the table for the night. No rush which is great.

It seemed as if most people on the patio were there for the trains. We were able to watch an engineer switch tracks so he could pick up a load of cars stored nearby. We also were able to watch a long freight train go by. Lots of people were photographing, videoing, many with professional cameras and tripods. They gave a dog friendly menu. And bring water bowls for the dogs. We ordered burgers. Choice was "pink or no pink". I think they were understaffed. It took 90 minutes from arrival to departure.

Great looking room, and a very good selection of beer. Kind of a weird upscale novelty restaurant…read more The servers are called engineers, and they wear overalls and some wear train engineer's caps. Our server was a bit terse, but very very efficient. I'm not asking for the server to be our friend, I am very happy with efficient, but uneffusive service. Pretty extensive menu. Unfortunately, the kitchen does not live up to the menu. I ordered the rib-eye medium rare, as did a friend (medium), and my other friend ordered the veal osso buco. Unfortunately my steak came out med-well, as did my friends. They were basically done exactly alike. Not a touch of red to the steak, not really any pink either. To make matters worse, when I mentioned it to the server, she said, "It looks medium rare to me". The correct answer is, "Oh, I'm sorry, would you like to send that back?" I had no intention of sending it back, I had had a long day, and was very hungry, so I just dealt. I just wanted her to know the steak was overcooked. I suspect they overcook a lot of steaks. And it was not an inexpensive steak. But like I said I was hungry. It just made the dining experience not ideal. The vegetables were also overcooked and gray, and seemed to have been sitting in a steam table for a good long while. Mashed potatoes were fine. My friend said his osso buco was excellent. We ordered some cornbread which was also excellent, which came with some blueberry butter, and honey butter. They did comp us a single dessert to split 3-way, which was excellent. All in all, it was OK, it would have been 5-stars if the grill station knew how to properly cook a medium-rare steak, and the server did not try to argue the point.

Lordy Lordy a close comparison to pizza in Rome. My only wish is that the basil were whole leaf and spread over the pizza top to get the full flavor of garlic, tomato and basil. And of course raw after the pizza is cooked. THAT would have made the pizza a 10 star in my opinion. Watching them hand toss the dough reminded me of being back in Italy or back home in Boston. Perfecto! We also tried the Antipasto salad which was very good indeed. Maybe some herbs/spices in the oil & vinegar? My husband loved his sausage parm dinner and salad and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed Aly's grilled chicken grinder (teriyaki sauce and American cheese) and has enough for lunch tomorrow. Homemade potato chips with bonfire sauce = OMG delish! I could sit and eat baskets & baskets!! The people were very attentive, checked on us and the restaurant was very clean and orderly. I couldn't have asked for it to be any more clean. Highchairs are in the hallway for wee ones to have a seat during visits. And restrooms were easily available. We will def be returning and trying new items.

I checked out the kitchen and they have several of the very best pizza ovens used by the majority of pizza restos that make Italian style pies, always a good sign. Anxious to try one of their pizzas, it was quite evident as I stood there that these fellows know how to handle pizza dough.
