Nice place
Inverleith F.

After a visit at the Basketball Hall of Fame, we decided to see the town and drove down Main Street to see the area sights. On the way back to the hotel, we have a craving for Italian. Yelpers helped us to be curious. We were seated quickly and asked if we were going to the Maroon 5 concert for some reason. We received our complimentary garlic toast fairly quickly. There was only one server working who gets an A for effort because he had to work the entire restaurant, bar tend and bus tables. The kitchen was really messing up because it took an hour to get our first appetizer which was raviolis and the second was mussels which they ran out of. The cheese raviolis were perfectly cooked and the sauce was sweet with a bit of kick and freshness from fresh chopped parsley and tomatoes. Our entree is the locally made sausage, broccoli rabe, perfectly al dente rigatoni, cherry tomatoes, and cannelini beans. It was really delicious. Everything we ate was very good just served slowly. A nice salad comes with dinner so we choose the Greek salad. Crispy romaine lettuce, chopped red onions, cucumber, halved tomatoes and a light sprinkle of feta cheese. No olives unfortunately. Plenty of parking on the street and in their own lot. The menu says cash only but they take cards. They have local musicians every Monday which is so nice to see. Please support this local business.

Weekly Special Swordfish

Quiet, authentic, made-to-order menu...it's a must try!!! Chef Anthony added a personal touch by coming to the table pre-meal and post-meal to understand our requirements and feedback.

You have to order a side of pasta with the chicken parm which was odd, I feel it should come with it. The menu also doesn't explain what does, and doesn't come with each order. For instance, dinners come with a salad, but it doesn't say that anywhere on the menu. Overall, a very good experience and the food was very fl

We made reservations and were brought to our table fairly quickly considering the amount of people waiting in the lobby. We ordered calamari and the garlic knots special for an appetizer. The appetizers took a while to come out, so our waitress brought our salads first. The salads were good. Calamari got great views and the garlic nuts as well. Or dinners also took a while to come out on a busy Saturday night, but everyone liked the food. The ribeye was overcooked but we didn't want to send it back and wait longer. Filet was good, lamb chops were excellent, baked stuffed shrimp got rave reviews. Veal marsala was swimming in Marsala sauce. Way too much sauce. Fettuccine was good. We had desserts. Those were good too. The staff saying happy birthday to the 90-year-old birthday girl. That was very nice. Overall, it was a good meal that took nearly 3 hours but we had appetizers, dinners and dessert.

We got clams casino and they were some of the best I've had, the clams were huge! We also got chicken franchise, eggplant parm, and a side of broccoli rabe. All of the plates were extremely large, they absolutely did not skimp on portions. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the eggplant parm was the best I've ever had. It was huge, and assembled like a lasagna almost. I cannot get over it and will be returning just for that. The broccoli rabe side was bitter and delicious. Service was excellent, everyone was so nice and the inside is really nicely appointed. We also got the tiramisu sundae for dessert and it was also huge !! There's plenty of parking. We weren't super hungry so we shared a salad and chicken parm and subbed the side pasta for spaghetti. Everything was delicious. The Tricolor salad was fresh and flavorful with a nice acidity. It was really just different leaves without any veggies but it paired well with the chicken parm. The chicken was a large quantity and easily fed both of us. However, I was disappointed by the little pasta on the side which I would say is the cheaper part of the dish. The pasta was so good I wanted more of it.

My steak was overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were hard and undercooked. At first, we told our waitress everything was okay, but after more discussion toward the end of the meal, we decided the expensive steak was truly overdone and mentioned it. Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to have a new steak made and to take it off the bill. The manager was also so helpful and amazing in making things right. Even though the meal itself wasn't up to their usual standard, the way the situation was handled proves exactly why we keep coming back. Truly impeccable service and still one of our favorite spots.

We opted for a more tapas style light dinner. With sesame crusted tuna, Cobb salad, fondue tower, and calamari 1/2&1/2. We appreciated the 1/2 and 1/2 option for the calamari (1/2 Rhode island, 1/2 regular) but when the plate came you couldn't tell the divide. Which was an issue for those that don't want spicy. The bar was very busy and the cocktail menu seems very good. So I can definitely see this place as your after work dinner with friends place to be. But for a calm casual dinner - maybe not. Overall it is a good place. But probably not for everyone - but doesn't need to be.
