Cornerstone of the 16 acres neighborhood. My family and I have been going here from when they were a small spot next to Bernie's HOT on Wilbraham rd to their current location. Went there today with a party of seven for a birthday. All the food was cooked perfect and the portions are big enough you have a nice sized lunch for the next day. Had espresso and deserts all of which were lovely. The rock crystal stirrer option for your espresso was really a nice touch. Even though we don't get there often it's nice to see that over the years the quality is still the same. Also I'll add with a bigger party we did not feel rushed at all. Food was good and huge portions. Waitress was attentive. Warm bread with olive oil dip or butter. I got Shrimp Scampi with angel hair pasta. lots of slices of garlic. 10 shrimp. I ate 1/2 and brought home leftovers. She got Emeril's Chicken. She loved the risotto. She had leftovers too. For me there was too much garlic and she thought the chicken was too spicy. We went to Leone's on a Saturday night for my MIL's 90th birthday. It's nice to find a restaurant that takes reservations on a Saturday night. We made reservations and were brought to our table fairly quickly considering the amount of people waiting in the lobby. We ordered calamari and the garlic knots special for an appetizer. The appetizers took a while to come out, so our waitress brought our salads first. The salads were good. Calamari got great views and the garlic nuts as well. Or dinners also took a while to come out on a busy Saturday night, but everyone liked the food. The ribeye was overcooked but we didn't want to send it back and wait longer. Filet was good, lamb chops were excellent, baked stuffed shrimp got rave reviews. Veal marsala was swimming in Marsala sauce. Way too much sauce. Fettuccine was good. We had desserts. Those were good too. The staff saying happy birthday to the 90-year-old birthday girl. That was very nice. Overall, it was a good meal that took nearly 3 hours but we had appetizers, dinners and dessert. read more

Ordered the clams in white wine sauce for an appetizer and the sauce tasted like muscle poop. We got fried calamari for another appetizer and it came with 7 lemons and a side of melted butter. My husband got the Marsala and the sauce had no flavor and was extremely watery. I got the lobster ravioli and was so disappointed. It was literally cheese ravioli with half a claw puréed into the mix. This was my birthday dinner and will never be coming back here again. Unless I'm looking for good bread and oil dipping sauce. That was phenomenal, Kudos to the chef on that! One more thing, if this gives me diarrhea in the morning I'm taking this star away for good! read more

Our experience was shocking and unacceptable. The staff was extremely rude and discriminatory toward us. When we politely asked to move away from a single noisy table seated next to us, our request was denied despite the dining room being nearly empty. Instead of attempting to accommodate us, the staff asked us to leave the restaurant altogether. We were effectively kicked out for making a reasonable request. Not the first or last time Leone's has met or exceeded my expectations. Had their food catered for my house warming party fall of 2023 which everyone raved about. Today was a small gathering of eight family members after a celebration of life ceremony for my mom. I stuffed myself before unknowingly coming here so kept it simple with a soup and a burger with fries. We came towards the end of lunch rush and beginning of dinner rush so pretty much had place to ourselves. Food came out quick and cooked to order. Pros; -Server was very nice. -Bread & Oil was good but only because it was insanely over seasoned. -Booths are comfy U-Shaped. Cons; -Flies. -Pumpkin beer had a weird gelatin/ sugar rim. Should be honey/ sugar. -Fried mozz balls (yes balls?) were soggy and swimming in flavorless sauce. -Ceasar salad was way overdressed (strange because salads had dressing in the side?). -Portobella sandwich was soaking WET and had zero seasoning. -Chicken parm entree was bland and the pasta was very overcooked. Also with the same totally flavorless sauce. -Nothing we ate here was properly seasoned. Came here with my husband, we figured this would be an ok place for a quick dinner and wound up with strange bland food and an hour and a half long show of people waiting around for food and checks. Parking lot is smallish, but there are many other spots in the adjacent Big Y lot. Service was excellent and the staff was friendly. That was the highlight of the night. An app we had was blackened scallops- they were exceptional. A salad came with each entree - it was fresh and very good. The entrees weren't so great though. The baked stuffed shrimp: the shrimp were not large - I was told they were chewy too. The veal marsala: the veal itself was very good as were the mushrooms. Unfortunately they were sitting in a pool of oil that was not appetizing - it needed 80% less oil on the plate. Usually I soak up the marsala sauce with bread after the meat's eaten, but this time I just left the sauce on the plate. Final notes, my friend's first vodka drink tasted fine, but the 2nd drink (the same) apparently had a negligible amount of vodka. The bread and dipping oil were very good. Ordered crusted tenderloin med rare.... got well done. Ordered fisherman's platter. Got stuffed shrimp ..we're rubber..couldn't chew them. Ordered angel hair pasta with sauce on the side. Received angel hair mush due to sauce being on the pasta. Also pasta was little short strands. Total for meal $77.00. Normally we've enjoyed your dinners however this is the 2nd or third time over a short period of time that we have not been satisfied. We will be taking a break from you for a long while. read more

This place is going down hill. We've been coming for years and the last two or three times have been unacceptably bad. The waitress was rude and inattentive. We had to ask for bread, as we waited for an hr for food. We had to ask for refills (a 1/2 bottle of Josh is $30 by the way, 2 glasses of mediocre wine for $15 a glass). The food was cold. I had a baked seafood dish and let me just tell you how disgusting cold breaded haddock and "roasted" (or REHEATED, rather) potatoes are - I would have sent it back but by the time the server came back to our table everyone else was almost done with their meals, so I wrapped up an entire $30 dish for my dog. I'm only giving two stars because there was a time where you could get a good meal here and I'll give them a point for that. read more

The restaurant was hot and stuffy, there were 3-5 flies flying around our booth. Our napkins were stained. There were mysterious splatter stains on the wallpaper behind us. The wooden trim surrounding our booth was caked with dirt, there were cobwebs on the ceiling. The salt and pepper shakers were all almost empty on the tables. We ordered wraps with fries, it was like ordering kids' meals as the portions were so small. The wraps were cold and we waited about 45 min to get them. I had to ask the server for a copy of the bill as it wasn't given to me after I paid. It was a sad experience as we went hoping to have a nice time. read more

Well we had a party of 8. Arriving at 6pm. We were seated and ordered appetizers. The first app arrived at 7. But it was cold. The drinks kept coming but no food. We have been customers of Leones for over 20 years. So our expectations were high as we rarely had a problem with meals. The menu is only apps salads and sandwiches. Pizzas. We were never told it was a liMired menu. Food was marginal. Bill was over $300. Will never go back. I do not recommend this restaurant Should have gone to Texas Road House. read more

Visited Leone's yesterday for lunch. Very good experience overall. Leone's has been around for a long time and certainly has mastered customer service. Their menu offers good variety from sandwiches to awesome dinner selections in a wide range of prices. Our pasta dishes were both great. The servicer was attentive and knowledgeable. There was an attractive cocktail list though we passed. Our lunches came with a crisp salad along with some crunchy bread and tasty oil. Portions were generous. Atmosphere is clean and calm with comfortable seating. Easy access from a major roadway with ample off-street parking. I would definitely go there again read more

Went here yesterday, been going for a few years now. The food quality has plummeted. Chicken franchisees was flavorless. My step fathers chicken parm was over cooked, and flavorless. The servers response to my step father saying the chicken was burnt and over cooked was "did you cut in the middle of it?" You could tell the WHOLE thing was way over cooked and dry. They tried to smoother it with sauce and cheese to hide the fact. The only good thing was the dessert. Plenty of other really great Italian restaurants in the area. I made a reservation, and the person on the phone seemed disappointed that we were coming in, and even made a point of telling me when they closed, even though my reservation wasn't for an hour or so before closing. It came across as unwelcoming rather than informative, perhaps because of her overall demeanor on the phone. I checked the reviews once I hung up because of it, and I was surprised with how many negative reviews there are regarding customer service. I decided to cancel the reservation, and when I called to do so, the same person on the other end seemed happier that we canceled than she was when we reserved. Pasta was fresh and sauce tasted homemade but wasn't my favorite, the chicken française tasted good with a very strong lemon taste which I enjoyed. I love the food, always good. Service not great at all. I have been going for a decade now, we ordered take out this evening almost 200 dollars for the order. The driver was late by an hour of expected delivery time . We had a small tip and the driver threw the tip back and said "that's it". We called the woman answering the phone and she said he's getting old and cranky and doesn't speak English very well. We asked to speak to the person in charge. Twenty minutes later they called back and said the driver said the money fell out of his pocket. How ridiculous. The food is good, but long time customers get treated awful. The management obviously does not care about customer service. I feel bad if they don't pay their long time employees a livable wage, but they shouldn't be defending such behavior. read more

Not only did we feel unwelcome, the host that sat us down had his nasty hands all up in the plates. Same thing with the glasses of water. Didn't see a waitress for at least 15 mins. Have you heard the one about the guy on a low carb diet who went to an Italian restaurant? Here it is. I've always loved Italian food and my family and I have been going to Leone's for a number of years. A while back I cut carbs out of my diet almost entirely. This, of course, presents a small problem when dining out in all the old familiar places. In the past I've enjoyed their lasagna and linguine in white clam sauce (more than once.) We would always order the fried calamari as well. This time around I knew I was sticking with the carne. I ordered the (boneless) rib eye and a side of broccoli rabe with a salad (just greens.) The lettuce in the salad was good and their house-made blue cheese dressing was excellent, with big chunks of cheese in it. My steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and had been seasoned with what I would suspect was a garlic salt and pepper mixture. I'm not sure how a steak purist would like it but that's exactly how I make it at home. The broccoli rabe had been sauteed in olive oil and garlic (along with salt I'm sure). It was very good. My wife had the fish and chips which looked outstanding, she was happy with the choice. My son had a personal pizza, which seemed big, he knows his pizza and he liked this one. Simple pepperoni and onion but the crust looked great, possibly baked on stone? This place is family owned and operated. It's great to have them in the neighborhood. read more

I went to Leone's for a private family function. I have not been to Leone's for 30 years and remember it as a pizza take out place in a strip mall. Granted, I moved out of Western Mass. This place has matured over time into a restaurant that I highly recommend. One of the items I judge an Italian American restaurant on is the meatballs. It's so easy to serve dense meatballs. Leone's meatballs were light and definitely not dense and that is a great thing. The were not quite fall apart but not dense like a super ball. They were just perfect. I loved the chicken parm that appeared to be deep fried first. No knife needed to cut up the chicken. The interior is amazing. My son wanted to go back for dinner tonight. We are about 30 minutes away so I'm looking to come back. read more
