Brussels sprout appetizer. In the background the Arugula salad with pomegranate seeds.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in western MA. If you want a great dinner, with amazing atmosphere, come here. It was Friday night so a reservation was necessary. We were able to push the reservation to a half hour later easily on open table when our friend from central ma ran into traffic. Ok the food! The server, I didn't get her name was amazing. She was personable and funny and knew how to flow through her section. I started with the brussel appetizer and it was out of this world. Perfectly fried, with a sweet glaze and bacon. The table devoured them. The special of the night was a pan seared salmon with a shaved brussel/coleslaw and sweet potato purée. For dessert we shared the amazing bread pudding. Bnapoli keep up the great work. It was a busy Friday night and we sat from 545 until 9, tucked away in a peaceful corner!

Parking: Street on one side and shopping strip parking on other. Decor: Stylish bordering on posh. Tables were not on top of one another and very clean. Staff: We had Ben at the bar and he was very good but helpers at the bar were very pushy almost like the were trying to turn over customers faster...asking to box up our appetizers and get us the bill before our entree's even came. Food: It was good and presented well Price: Very surprised at the price for two people, one not drinking, and no dessert for West Springfield. before tip was over $75 a person. Overall: Very nice restaurant, for me though, very pricey and with the pushy staff not knowing their surroundings and trying to get you out the door, there are plenty of other places to check out.

Beautiful restaurant and such kind and personable service! The food was unique but comfortable with generous portions. The charcuterie was enough for four. We got the pizza for the kids and it was very good brick over pizza made fresh. We had the steak and Bronzino and both were well cooked and flavorful. The design of the restaurant is beautiful and modern, the dining area is cozy but doesn't feel crowded even when fully booked such as the night we came. Service was so kind and welcoming and though they were fully booked we didn't feel rushed only till the end when the hostess came and encouraged she packed our food and brought us the check.

So damn good.

Gee, Jerry, you're capable of a lot of things, but disappointing customers isn't one of them. We come often, and every visit leaves us in wonder - perfect menus, extraordinary food and terrific staff. This time, it was Audrey. Every single time. You really know how to make our date nights memorable. Thanks!

Dinner at bnapoli last night was fabulous, but my five star rating is primarily related two two outstanding things: 1. The Lamb Meatballs appetizer ($14) was truly one of the most delicious things I have eaten in my life. The description reads "meyer lemon yogurt, pomegranate, cucumber relish, pine nuts, parsley pesto". The combination is perfect. Note that the pine nuts are actually cooked in the meatballs, and generously so, and makes for a great texture as well as enriching the already complex flavors. I'm planning NOT to share this next time and make it a main part of my meal. This appetizer comes with three smallish meatballs, and when the server saw we were splitting it recommended we order one add on to divide evenly - well worth it. 2. The excellent service. Everyone from the front desk to the floor manager, server, and serving/clearing assistant was friendly and knowledgeable. I couldn't find a single flaw. We were checked on regularly but not excessively and everything was cleared quickly and served in just the right timing. We had two drinks, a pinot grigio and a tasty Hazelnut Alexander (off the desert menu, but I ordered it with my appetizer). The Chitarra was a great twist on a carbonara that brilliantly avoids the raw egg issue by topping with a sous vide/poached egg. Delicious, though personally I would prefer without the onion, but that's a personal taste call. The gorgonzola pizza was also extremely good and a competitor in my mind to my favorite salad pizza at Posto. Worth a comparison for anyone who is a fan of that one.

Love B Napoli! It's our go to for upscale Italian - plus they have a great wine list. Arguably one of the best restaurants in the area.

What can I say... I'm a millennial who loves nostalgia…read more So when it came time to meet up with a dear friend back home, where else would we meet but Red Rose? We've both celebrated many a special occasion here in the 90s and this time was no different. I was extremely happy to see that absolutely nothing had changed. That kind of reliability is exactly what you want from your favorite restaurant back home. You basically want to leave it in a time capsule and walk back in after 30 years to find it right as you had left it. The place was bustling per usual. The server was fantastic. The wine was great. The house salad and house dressing were so good they made me want to scarf down vegetables. But the meatball grinder... THE MEATBALL GRINDER!!! (I now live in a place where we call them subs, but nothing compares to a good grinder.) It was culinary perfection: the bread was golden and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The perfect balance of bread, sauce, cheese, and meatball. And the flavor of the meatball itself was perfectly seasoned and balanced. I'm already 100 miles away and I'm still thinking about it and will be for days... weeks... MONTHS! Until next time

They gave us a buzzer, told us it would be about 25 minutes, and we went into the bar to have a glass of wine and wait. I must say the chaos was beautifully controlled. Lots of room in the bar, and a spot to order drinks if you couldn't get a seat at the bar. Generous pour on the wine. And sure enough, about 25 minutes later our table was ready. Waitress was friendly, helpful, professional. Servings were more than ample. Fried calamari appetizer was delicious, crispy, not at all greasy. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken dish. I, however, was disappointed, and I blame myself. I should know better than to order eggplant at a restaurant. If I'm ordering eggplant rollatini, I'd like to taste the eggplant. I don't know why restaurants insist on slicing it so thin that you can't actually taste the eggplant, just the breading. It's not that it's an expensive ingredient, it's gotta be cheaper than the cheese....anyway, I'd go back but hopefully I have learned my lesson - if I want to taste eggplant, I'll cook it myself.

I will start this as I always do by saying I do not give out five stars unless I am really blown…read moreaway. This is a 4 1/2 star. My waitress was awesome very friendly, quick to get me my order quick to get me my drink, I asked her about the menu. She was very happy to help with what she thought was good. I told her what I was looking at, and she suggested the four course Special where I could choose most of the things I wanted. And they did it for a price that was more than reasonable I was actually shocked that it was such a low cost. The food was delicious. I could eat a whole bowl of those brussels sprouts and nothing else and been happy. The salmon was cooked perfectly at the top it all off I had dessert which I hardly ever do and that apple strudel was delicious. I was a little confused by the layout of the restaurant, but it still seems inviting and warm. There was absolutely nothing negative about this place it just didn't have a flow to it if that makes sense. There was a lower dining area and there were some wall between the bar and part of the dining room, but the wall had windows it almost felt like an addition put in later but it wasn't. I don't know I'm not a restaurant designer. The most important part is that the atmosphere was great. The food was better and the staff was awesome. I will be coming back in soon and probably every time I come into town, which I hope is more often just so I can eat here again

I took a friend here cause we went there last year for her birthday and she requested to go again…read morebecause we both enjoyed the Redfish Novelle dish which once again was flavorful and enjoyable. I did feel that the presentation could have been a little cleaner and a little more rice but the dish still held our tastebuds satisfied. We are both gluten free which can be difficult . We ordered their price fix menu which included salad, main dish and desert. We decided that was a good choice. The salad came with a lot of unsavory dead end pieces in it which immediately affects the taste and look of the salad. I would give that a very poor presentation with just a small amount of taste. The deserts that came with it were all gluten deserts. That required us to order an extra dish, the bananas foster which should be good. The presentation was not good at all. The bananas were not caramelized which is part of this signature dish and the bananas were mushy and tasteless. It came topped with ice cream. All in all a disappointing addition we had to pay for. The service was very good and I did tell the waiter of our disappointment with the bananas foster and he said " I am sorry" , I guess I should have asked for the manager but the waiter did suggest to take home the two deserts that we were owed. My husband would probably enjoy them. The cheese cake was very disappointing. It was dull, heavy and tasteless, I took a taste of the cheese parts. The apple strudel passable. They can do better. I know they have a large volume clientele but taste and presentation are key to returning customers at least it is to this customer and her friend. It will be awhile until we venture there again. Maybe they will take this review seriously and make some changes. I would suggest adding a gluten free desert offering to the price fix desert menu like flourless chocolate cake or chocolate mousse something if you want to attract a larger more versatile clientele. The redfish novelle is a very nice dish that I do recommend.

This is a fun and quirky pizza place. We came here while on vacation nearby after receiving reviews…read morefrom friends and were not disappointed. Despite arriving on a Saturday (during a holiday weekend) at lunch, only one other table was taken. We ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza; Buffalo wings and fries; and chicken nuggets and fries for our kid. Food came up within about 10-15 minutes. The wings/fries were first and were fantastic though unlike wings I have ever had. They appeared breaded and coated in a seasoning spice mixture that was pleasant though not hot (and certainly not reminiscent of Buffalo, NY, where wings come from). The mountain of freezer fries were perfectly crispy and lots of ketchup in serving-size cups were provided. The chicken nuggets were clearly from a bag and strongly reminded me of the white/dark meat nuggets from McDonalds from when I was a kid. Again lots of fries too. The pizza arrived a few minutes later and was huge. And different. A slice was practically a whole pizza and there was lots of pepperoni on it. The sauce was thick and a bit sweet. The crust varied from thin to thick but in all places were very crunchy... like a cracker. I loved it, but my wife not so much. The price for everything including several $2 bottles of water was $38. That isn't out of line for the amount of food you get, but the breakdown was weird. The pizza was $7 and that was a tremendous bargain. The children's nuggets and fries was $4 and I wonder how they can afford that. The 15 wings/fries was $23, and that seemed like an awful lot. But... taken together it was fair. In the future I might just pig out on pizza and leave the wings/fries alone. My wife liked the wings more though, so... The staff were super friendly, including Tony Liquori in his trademark skipper hat. The restaurant was "clean" but dive-bar like, with bric-a-brac all over the place. Fun and filling are the two best adjectives I can think of, and I can't wait to return!
