Came here Easter Sunday with a reservation for 4 1/2 for 10am. We were brought to our table right away and greeted pretty immediately. I wish I'd gotten our servers name, as she was very nice and attentive. If she somehow finds this, my munchkin was wearing the pink bunny ears, drinking strawberry milk! Having never been here before, I wasn't sure what to expect. That being said, the experience overall was one that would warrant me to come back, but not for breakfast...to check out their dinner time menu. The meal itself that I ordered the Mad Moose, wasn't anything special. I wish it had some fresh veggies on it to break the meal, maybe a slice of tomato and some spinach leaves in between the egg and corn bread. That would be yummy! Maybe they had something similar on their menu already and I didn't see it? I'll be back though, if I ever find myself heading back out that way. Cute little joint!

Me and friend recently went here for a quick bite between work. We came in sat down and got ready to order. We then politely asked for separate checks seeing as how he had cash and I was using my card and the waitress snotily informed us that they don't do separate checks. I then said but I'm paying card and he has cash how are we going to eat? She responded sorry can't do it. So I asked her if we sat at the counter could we? She then said no again with no fir th et explanatiln. We then got up and left. Not allowing separate checks is ridiculous

Great country style food and all natural ingredients. They bake thwir own bread and have a nice variety. All famr products for their cooking Plan ahead during the weekends there is a Long wait not just to be seated but for getting the meal, however its worth, home made food, great taste and big portions. Bring cash, they do not take credit cards there, but prices are very reasonable and you won't spend much for a great meal. Breakfast and lunch only

    Great breakfast!

Stopped with my daughter for breakfast and I must say it was excellent. 10:00 on a Sunday morning there was a bit of a wait, about 20 minutes, but well worth it. I had eggs benedict and it was perfect. We split a side order of the home made hash that was large enough to feed 4 people. My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and said they were very good. A bit expensive but worth it in my opinion.

The meal I received (Eggs Benedict Florentine, a regular menu item) was not what I ordered (Tara's Benedict, on the specials menu), but by then I was so hungry that I just ate it. It was good. However, after a runner delivered our food, our waitress never checked in with us, or even made eye contact with us, until we were done eating. When she finally came, I told her (politely) that I had ordered Tara's Benedict but had received Florentine. She seemed to not know what to do with this information - but she did want me to know that she correctly submitted my order. Okay, I said, I just wanted to let you know that there was a miscommunication somewhere. She brought us our bill promptly (the incorrect meal was not taken off the bill), but then there was more waiting for her to come back and take our credit card. Finally my dining companion went up to the register to pay the bill. While there, they tried to explain to him what happened - apparently the chef had a different specials list than the specials menu that was given to customers. This does not really explain the mix-up. Plus, it was 11am on a Saturday - near the end of the breakfast period. How did they not realize sooner that the chef and the wait staff had different specials menus? This establishment is a little off the beaten path; you have to make it a destination - something I will not be doing again.

The cheap add-ons shouldn't cost as much as the actual entrée. Nothing here is homemade--everything is clearly purchased in bulk from Costco (Kirkland brand) and Restaurant Depot. If you're expecting authentic, scratch-made kielbasa or pierogies, look elsewhere. To make matters worse, they shortcut the cooking by deep-frying the bacon and home fries before finishing them on the grill, leaving the food completely oversaturated with grease. Heads up for future customers: They are also cash-only

You will need to ask. My major bugaboo is that the menu is pretty unclear. If you order a veggie omelette you might think it comes with at least some veggies in it. Apparently the $9.99 is the base price for just the eggs, and each item is added for $0.99 each. So when we ordered we were asked if we want all the veggies, it was unclear that this meant do you want to add $10 worth of extra items to the omelette. (Cheese is somehow extra too). The food was fine. Not worth $38 for eggs, toast homefries and the aforementioned omelette. So this is a once and done for us. And yes as others have said this is a cash only place.

I'll start off by saying that the staff was very nice. I told them it was our first time there and she sat us down, told us to look over the menu and then order at the counter when we were ready. We ended up sharing the breakfast monster crepe and also the eat your greens salad. I can honestly tell you that the eat your greens salad was one of the best salads I've had. its so simple but so delicious and packed full of flavor. The lettuce leaves were extremely fresh, and the dressing was homemade. The crepe was also good, not the best I've had but it was good. Honestly the winer for me was that salad. We also ordered some hot drinks and I was surprised to find that they have organic coffee, really good. and their honey is legit, not the fake stuff. I know some of the other reviews were complaining about the pricing on things but its obviously better quality as well. You can taste it for sure. I will say that the one thing I didn't like was the fact that the tables/chairs are so close together. We were sandwiched in between two families with children and it was really hard to relax. We had to listen to one family complain about not having gotten their crepe yet even though everyone else had gotten their food. I felt that if I even inched either to my right or left I would hit the person sitting on the other end. They need to configure the seating better. Otherwise, it's a great place, I'd definitely come back and maybe sit at a counter or a booth if I'm lucky.

The steak n' cheese grinder (~$12) was just that, steak and cheese. I would've expected onions, lettuce, and peppers, which would've made it much better. A simple heads up that it comes plain and toppings are available would've gone a long way. Another person got the chicken parm grinder and said it was merely alright. We got the 10-piece wings (~$14). For some reason, you can only pick one flavor on a 10-piece order. We chose the Spicy BBQ, and they were really good, even though they weren't actually spicy. The cheeseburger (~$14) was also yummy and came with fries. The other burgers on the menu looked really good and would probably be the main reason I'd come back. Service was the biggest miss. It wasn't bad, but it felt indifferent and impersonal. No waters were offered, and the main guy was on his phone most of the time. The bathroom was probably one of the worst I've seen in a while. The toilet seat itself had poop on it. Not just that it wasn't flushed, I'm talking about the actual seat. Considering we were one of only two groups there, this should have been taken care of quickly. Pricing was on the higher side, which is why I expected a better overall experience. Overall, I think this place has a lot of potential because the food itself was good, but the service and cleanliness need improvement.
