What a great breakfast spot! If it weren't for Yelp we never would've found this place since it's hidden in a small plaza. Breakfast specials are where it's at. You can have a filling, tasty breakfast with coffee for under $10 it's rare to find that now in days. Folks here were great, couldn't have been more serviceable. Kind of hidden in the back of a shopping center, small spot with close seating and higher than normal wait times early on a Sunday morning. The food is your average greasy spoon type service. Not a bad spot to pop in to but not somewhere I'd come every weekend, just too crowded. It's not that's it's that small but I feel they are trying to push too many people in the space they have, makes it hard to enjoy the meal. read more

A hidden gem! My daughter recently graduated from preschool in the morning hours and we went searching for a local breakfast/brunch place open that Monday morning. Thanks to Google, we found Evan's. Being from the town over, we hopped in the car and head out. Establishment is relatively small but dont let that fool you, the food and service speaks for themselves. We had a party of 4, and were sat right away with prompt service. My daughter ordered the kid's French toast sticks and she finished it so quick she just about licked the plate clean! Definitely five stars from her. I ordered an omelette with tomatoes, ham, spinach and feta....YUM. The home fries were also delicious! Upon getting ready to leave, the staff came over to our table with a bag of lollipops and let my daughter choose two in celebration of her graduation....very cute touch! We will definitely be coming back here and I will be recommending Evan's Egg House to other patrons! read more

First time visiting Ludlow and wanted breakfast. My daughter took me to Evans Egg House. Upon entering, we were seated right away. I was told that this place gets busy, which it eventually did. I had their bacon hash, which was delicious and filling. Staff was very friendly and often came around refilling my coffee and making sure our meal was satisfactory. I recommend giving Evans Egg House a go, it's worth it. read more

Will snap a picture next time I have been here once/twice before with family and really had no impression of the place. Even though I have eaten breakfast meals three times in the last week Evens stood out the most. By far the best breakfast spot I've been to ! The food potions are perfect , not to big or to small . The price is extremely reasonable . The presentation, the taste .. everything was great . I went inside and it was busy . ( they do follow Covid guidelines !) They advised me to wait in the car and they would go get me when it was my turn . And I waited about 20 min . And got inside . We stumbled upon this place on a Sunday morning and got a table after waiting for a few mins. Service was phenomenal. We were greeted right away with a fresh cup of coffee and the menu has all the classic diner selections you would expect. I got a veggie omelette and was not disappointed. This place is great. I had wonderful friendly service that was quick with delicious food on a Monday. I was lucky to get bacon hash on a Monday usually reserved for Friday's I believe. But the bacon hash browns are so good. I also got the French toast a solid choice. This hidden gem is worth the trip. I will definitely be back. There are no adequate words to describe how good this place is. The crew -Kelly, Tabitha, Cindy and Brandon are awesome and attentive. It's like walking into your family's kitchen. We stopped here on the way home from MGM for breakfast. It's a typical small cafe type place inside. Our breakfasts were pretty good and fairly priced. Coffee was better than average and the home fries were great. Service was good, but the kitchen cook time was slow. Apparently, serving fast breakfast is a thing of the past now. Food might be good. But never got a chance to try it. The manager? Was exceptionally rude. My wife has very bad feet and uses a wheelchair to cover distance with out pain. We saw how small the place was so she walked in. The said a few minute wait, no big deal after ten to fifteen minutes go by I ask if she can sit down inside instead of standing outside the lady says when the tables clean she can. We waited a few more minutes and decided to walk back to the truck. The service was wonderful, friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. We have relatives in Ludlow but don't get there as often as we would like (live in NC).
