Great little place. I was looking for a place for coffee and saw a lot of cars and stopped in. Walked in -instantly greeted by a sweet bubbly girl. Made you feel like a regular. Service was fast. Food was good. Surprised they even had a gluten free English muffin. Tasty. Very busy but very organized. They greeted each person coming in and thanked everyone as they left. I had brunch at Evans Egg House with 3 friends. Two of us were there early and the hostess decided to seat us despite me saying that we weren't sure when the others would arrive. It took 15-20 minutes for our friends to get there. The hostess came over and gave major attitude about everyone not being there because it was busy. They were given fair warning about that. The food was really just ok. I had the chorizo breakfast sandwich. The chorizo was really very similar to deli salami and wasn't at all what I expected. The rest of the sandwich was unremarkable. The potatoes were good. The service continued to be terrible. Our waitress didn't come over to check on us once after she dropped our food. One of my friends had to ask another table to use their syrup. I won't bother eating at this restaurant again. read more

First time here, delicious breakfast! I ordered the typical over easy eggs, bacon, wheat toast, and home fries that I order every place I go to. This was one of the best breakfasts I had. On a recent Sunday morning we out-of-staters were looking for breakfast on our way back home. We found Evans Egg House on Yelp and decided to give it a try. What we found was a quintessential local restaurant. When we walked in, the place was nearly full, the chatter was happy and infectious, and it just had a nice feel to it. The service was immediate, efficient, and cheerful. But of course what matters the most is the food, and it was excellent--delicious French toast, eggs over medium (mine) and scrambled (my wife's) done just right, and a delicious pancake that filled a full sized dinner plate. The place doesn't have a pretentious bone in its body--it's just a happy neighborhood restaurant serving good food. Highly recommend! read more

Looking for Bob's Restaurant we found Evans Egg House had replaced it, and the hunger drove us inside. We were greeted and seated. Small diner type place with like 12 something tables. Interior is nothing special. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered orange juices, which was just poured from a gallon jug, and tasted horrible. I ordered the bacon hash sand which with a side of breakfast sausage and my wife the western omelet, rye toast, and a side of bacon. Everything was fresh, but was bland, and lacked in salt, spice, and left us looking for more. Daily specials are removed from the board as soon as ingredients are gone, showing things are fresh. The home fries, although edible, we're like none I've had before. Basically being just unevenly cubed bland potatoes. They were not cooked fully and were not brown or crispy. Overall, an average three star place. I'd possibly go back to try the French toast. read more

We ordered the Big breakfast which was a ton of food and came with a coffee. If you get a chance stop by!!! Don't miss out on this place. Employees are sweet. Going in, i was pleased by the cozy mom'n'pop type vibe they gave off. Mostly an older generation of costumers but it was nice to see them all happy and enjoying themselves at this little place!
