I've been to Felix's several times because I work close by. They are great to order ahead and pick up. Today, I ordered the Latino Burrito with steak based on a previous review and it did not disappoint. I ordered ahead and it was ready when I arrived. I also ordered a side of plantains. The service was friendly and the burrito was satisfying. The previous review was correct in noting the addition of olives to the burrito which were not overpowering but just right. It came with a side of sour cream and I wish it came with salsa or hot sauce as well (next time). I still highly recommend. read more

Let me just tell you all, from the location and the looks from the outside was not expecting much. This all changed when we were greeted by our waitress. She was amazing. The food really changed my opinion of the place. It was so good that we had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. If I ever go back would like to try lunch as well. We had breakfast there, but they also have a wide variety of sandwiches, grinders and meals I had a breakfast burrito and it was chock full of vegetables, potatoes and meats. It was very good. My partner had scrambled eggs and toast. The breakfast menu is full of items such as French toast, Belgium waffles and pancakes with an assortment off fruit. I got the pleasure to meet the owner he was very friendly. He takes pride on their food and service. They really go above and beyond for every customer visiting them. Our waitress Annabel was very hospitable. She was friendly and attentive. We ordered two big breakfast and every plate came with 2 eggs, a choice of bacon or sausage and each dish was served with pancakes. My party and I ordered some tea, our teas arrived with lemon on the side and honey. There is a whole menu of pancakes, great dishes, affordable prices. You really get a great value and an awesome meal here. We asked for suggestions because it's really hard to decide... the pancakes are phenomenal from peanut butter to bananas and chocolate/Strawberries/walnuts The tables were sanitized every time and hand sanitizer was available upon arrival to the restaurant. I was able to take a photo of the owner when he was preparing some dishes. Overall the experience was wonderful, the food was fresh, the pancakes were fluffy and had really quality ingredients, every bite was delicious and the portions were generous. The owner allowed us to try the chocolate pancake and I can't find a word to describe it!!! AMAZING food Keep supporting local business and if you are in Springfield this is a most go!!! Arrived around 10:45 on a Saturday morning. Hoping to catch a quick bite on the way to the basketball hall of fame. Sat down and waited about 5 minutes before walking up to the counter to be served. Seems like there were not enough people working and the servers were training new staff. Ordered my food and waited over 45 minutes before the food was ready. The prices and options are great but the service is terrible. This is not a place I would recommend anyone eat at unless they are not hungry and have all day to waste. read more

We typically only eat breakfast here, and today I was able to grab their western omelette as a breakfast sandwich. We watched the two servers and one cook struggle to keep up with the demand giving them The beefing of doubt that they were short handed I'm assuming but I then waited and hour and half for food that honest would take about 15 min to make at my houses dry Links that tasted like cardboard box ones couple simple eggs and a hard brutish waffle. Did you happen to see all the five star reviews this joint has? There's a reason for it. Indeed, Felix's Breakfast and Sandwich shop is a hidden gem in Springfield, MA. Good quality coffee, delicious food, a very clean establishment, by far the best service I've received since.... since Pho Vinh but that doesn't count cause that's like my second home.. but anyway... Their menu is extremely creative. I had the pleasure of enjoying their Texas corn pancakes and it went above and beyond my expectations, I'm still thinking about how good they were even as I write this! It's kind of what us Southerners call Johnny cakes except it was the best I've tasted. (yes I admit it) Everything is made from scratch, even the pancake batter and you can tell from the taste. The whole kernels of corn in the batter tasted very fresh and they chop the bacon (or sausage, I had bacon) and place it over the pancake while it's cooking so you get the soft interior of the pancake itself and then the crispiness of the bacon. It is then dusted with powdered sugar so you get this explosion of sweet, salty, soft, crispy deliciousness in every bite. OH HOW I WISH!!! They were located here in Orlando, I would eat breakfast there every day. You get three large tasty cakes for 6.99 (see pic) So delicious and so filling that you're still full hours later.
