Love this place. Amazing coffee. The beans are roasted to perfection and they take great care in their espresso drinks. You can buy fresh roasted beans and they will even grind it for you. The options are great and they even have quality decaf coffee. The staff is incredibly nice and I have never had a bad experience. Everything comes out quickly. This location is even better in the summer months when you can enjoy outside. But there is still an area inside to sit and enjoy. read more

I had a great cappuccino made with whole milk. They do offer alternative as well. My son got the chai. The employee said it was very ginger forward before ordering and my son decided to get it & didnt like it. He said it was too ginger forward, but the employee warned him. My son normally likes Chai but he said it was just to much ginger. They do offer small batch sandwiches made locally. They do not have any syrups here. Its all about the coffee. I did see some bakery items available. Very nice employees. There is a bar area to sit and tables. Plenty of parking read more

On the smaller side and very industrial feel to the space. Coffee is tasty and barista was friendly enough. Not a huge menu but enough if you're just looking for a tasty coffee. read more

I love Brewtus and I firmly believe it's one of the very best local coffee shops in the Capital Region. Stephen is a true coffee aficionado and it comes through in every bean he roasts. This is coffee for coffee lovers, no frills, just the classic café drinks made at the highest level. I appreciate that they have several alternative milk options, including pistachio, which is so delicious in a latte. Whether I'm stopping in to grab a drink or to buy beans to take home, the staff is always so friendly and willing to talk about coffee and what beans are best for what brews. I've seen this space transform over the years from a literal garage to a modern welcoming space that invites you to stay a while. We're lucky to have Brewtus. read more

This is my favorite local coffee place. They roast their own beans, which you can also buy. Their coffee is great. That staff is always friendly and the place is cute. It's off a small side road, so you won't ever find it by just driving by, but it's absolutely worth going to and is always less busy than other nearby places. read more

When in the mood for well-made coffee, I much prefer going to a coffee roasters rather than a regular coffee shop. "I'll have a half-caf, double decaf, soy chai latte with an inch of foam and a twist"...no. You won't find that here. There are 2 types of hot coffee, batch brewed and pour over. There are 4 espresso based drinks, cold brew and tea. That's the menu. There's something about the crafting of a cup, from raw bean to brew, that's alluring, nerdy, and, yes, slightly elitist. The roasters and the baristas have an opportunity to be artisans. Brewtus seems to prefer light to medium roasts to extract the most character and flavor out of their beans. The 25 minute drive to get a cup was worth it. It's been worth it every time. read more

My friend and I came here after a run for a morning coffee and baked good and it was such a great spot! It's a little hidden but the building is so cute and in such a quaint area. I really enjoyed my latte and their croissant and chocolate croissant were so good as well! It's a great no fuss, simple place. The barista and cashier were very friendly and it was such a nice space to chat or study. read more

Brewtus Roasting - Magic....Cappuccino and coffee - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Delmar, New York

Excellent coffee, service, ambience The sourdough bread is very tastay! The coffee dudes are cool and the conversation always flows

The service is great, and so is the atmosphere if you're into a modern Friends vibe. The coffee is also better quality, so if you're into the sweet Dunkin and Starbucks drinks this isn't the place. read more

I don't live in Delmar but I really like it and come often. Brewtus has been on my to try list since moving to Albany in July. Finally Made it and then 2x in a week. It's very cool, hipster; natch! But why not be hipster and cool, it fits in perfectly in this charming little enclave of Albany. I basically only drink black coffee products. On my first visit it I had time for a pour over.. the daily blend was a medium roast that drank bolder. Yum. 2nd visit was an americano, my test of any coffee shop. Win. Pass. Repeat. These guys have a large parking area with an outdoor tent to accommodate the wretched situation we are in. The inside is spacious so crowds won't be an issue. Come and support this local, small biz. read more

Brewtus Roasting - It's a garage! It's coffee. It's cute - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Delmar, New York

Stopped in here early on a Wednesday morning. Love this place! We have other coffee spots in Delmar which are great for their own reasons, and Brewtus Roasting stands out as being the coffee spot for the true coffee aficionado (and it's also a great place for a quick cuppa if the lines are too long up the street). Hours: 7am-1pm Who will love Brewtus Roasting: To make a simple cup of coffee at home, my husband uses a scale to weigh the exact amount of beans, a special grinder, and an electric kettle which heats the water to the perfect temperature. If this sounds like you or someone you love, Brewtus is the spot for you. He and the owner chatted at length about their love of African beans versus coffee from other places while I wandered around picking out snacks. Fun facts about Brewtus: Brewtus roasts their own coffee beans and sells retail bags you can buy right at the shop or at the Delmar Farmer's Market, and they also sell wholesale to local restaurants and shops. As soon as they start carrying kombucha for the non-coffee or non-tea drinker, this place will be 11/10 in my book. Directions and parking: Non-locals or by car: It's very easy to get here by car or bike right off Delaware Ave. There is a parking lot directly alongside the left of the building, plus PLENTY of parking all over the place on Hallwood Rd. Delmartians coming from the bike path: You can access this place directly off the bike path two different ways. - The first way is before Curtis Lumber, there's a little path that dumps you into a parking lot diagonal from the 365 Fit building. - The second entrance is a little steeper and it's the path which goes onto the road Curtis Lumber is on. Just go past Curtis Lumber and turn left on Hallwood Rd, it's on your right. For bike path users, this is a PERFECT place to grab a snack and a coffee or water (like I said earlier, he's looking into getting kombucha, too!) mid-ride or walk as long as you arrive before 1pm. read more

It's been a while since Stephen opened here: it's still the best coffee within a decent drive, whether drip or espresso-based. That would be enough; happily, it's also welcoming, laid-back, and embedded in the community. You should go. [Would I prefer it if there were a wider range of, and better, baked goods? Sure. I'm forced to cross the street to Perfect Blend, O hardship. Small price to pay for such good brew.] Also at the Delmar Farmers' Market. I really, really hope they reprise the ludicrously rich hot chocolate this year... read more

Great spot! Had a oat milk latte and it was really good. Highly recommend checking this place out.

This place is great! It's not a coffee shop, per se, as they don't sell pastries or anything, but the coffee is the best around! The setting is cool. It's in a big garage basically. It has an industrial feel, but it's fun. The coffee roaster is bright orange and sits prominently in the shop. The beans are roasted on site and it's obvious as soon as you take your first sip! I usually get the iced latte and it's become something I really look forward to every week! On top of the fact that it's pretty to look at, it is hands down the best iced latte I've ever had (and I've lived in Seattle!). Even the ice is good....they use filtered water for their ice. It's a no frills place and even the coffee is no frills; the menu is pretty small, but what they do serve is outstanding! The whole vibe at Brewtus is great! Delmar has become a pretty cool little town because of unique places like this. read more

What a great place! Friendly owner. Delicious coffee. I recommend the half cafe. They will bag some up for you on the spot if theydon'tt have any out for sale. In-house I like to enjoy the lattes. Just updating to say: Brewtus continues to be awesome. They are constantly rolling out new roasts with beans of different origins and each one is unique and exciting. The Mokka Java roast legitimately smells like brownies and it is lovely. read more

It's difficult to describe the perfection that Brewtus serves up with each pour. The shop's owner, Stephen, roasts every bean in-house. There is no outsourcing. You will not find roasts made in unknown coffeehouses from Brooklyn. At Brewtus, you are experiencing a product with a deep global lineage and brought to life in our community. Brewtus has all the types of coffee drinks that you'd expect from a coffeehouse without going off the deep end. It seems the most coveted item on the menu is the house pour-over, wherein Stephen will meticulously craft you a one-of-a-kind brew to enjoy. Each time I visit, I can't help but engage Stephen about his craft and the things I learn adds to my appreciation of all that goes into what sits in the cup before me. There is no question that Brewtus roasts the best coffee in the Capital Region. If the shop were to expand its hours just a bit, especially on the weekend, I think more people would come to agree. In the meantime, I hope this review pushes you to make Brewtus a destination. read more

WOW what a great hidden gem. So easy to get to. Stephen (owner and roaster) was working the counter and couldn't have been friendlier. The coffee was A+ (I got the ethiopia yirgacheffe - so flavorful and smooth). Very reasonable prices. Will def be back! read more

Brewtus Roasting - a man working in a coffee shop - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Delmar, New York

When people think small business coffee shop, this is the model. There aren't a lot of specialty recipes or flavors but what they do offer is an extremely high quality of coffee, latte, or esspresso at a remarkably reasonable price. Just as importantly, there's an approachability and proffessionalism to the owners that you just don't see these days. They engage on social media, they are always at the shop, and they are always happy to see you and discuss or explain or whatever you want to talk about. They are happy to accommodate requests. Everything is always clean and the quality is always top notch. Great addition to the Albany coffee scene. read more

What a welcome addition to the central Delmar area. The coffee has always been on point, judging from their stall at the Delmar farmer's market on Saturdays. Now, with this cool and airy storefront space tucked away near Curtis Lumber, with access to and from the Rail Trail, we've got another genuine coffee spot in town alongside mainstay Perfect Blend. The draw for Brewtus is the coffee--pour-over and nitro iced coffee are the standouts. Hopefully the town will support this storefront space, the hours and menu will expand in the future as well. read more

Best coffee in the area hands down. It's very hard for me to stray away from brewtus, not only because the owner and workers are so friendly, but mainly because the espresso is to die for. My go-to is an iced americano anywhere I go, and it is by far the best from here. I've also had their oat milk iced latte. Also amazing (sprinkle some cinnamon on top). Stephen, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and roasts all the beans in house! Uhm?? SO COOL and FRESH!!! He sells a variety of bagged coffee and espresso beans (read the descriptions on the back of them they will make your year) and they even offer to grind them fresh for you before bringing them home. It's about a 15 minute drive from my house but I don't care, I'd drive an hour to get it. On my way there now! read more

Their medium roast espresso has a touch of sweetness with a perfect creme. It's a nice place with plenty of room, hope they decide to add a lite menu to complement their roast. I brought home a 12 oz bag and Brewtus has been my espresso of choice for the week. Highly recommended for a visit..... read more

Buried all the way behind the post office in sleepy Delmar is this roaster. I was pretty excited about the place because it's just a couple minutes drive from my house. The gentleman that owns the place is very nice and it seems like he's doing a very good job running his business. He even gave me a tip on how to clean my burr grinder at home. However, the coffee leaves something to be desired. I tried a few different roasts at the farmers market in Delmar and even took a chance on a pound of their house roast, which is typically supposed to be a crowd pleaser. But all of them, including the house roast, were very acidic and not smooth at all. The flavors were harsh and definitely not something I can drink in the morning to wake up. I get he probably doesn't want to be like everyone else but he's too far off the mark to even be uniquely different. Back to the co-op I go read more

Outstanding coffee, roasted in house. They really are masters of their craft here. I use brewtus beans at home too for pour over. Only thing for me was, place is SUUUUUPER into the whole mask thing on a religious level. Dont dare forget it or you wint have coffee. I get it, businesses do it for the mandate, they dont wanna be fined. But that bs aside, im giving the atmosphere and coffee 5 stars. Great coffee, they deserve your business read more

By far the best roasting operation in Albany. I've never been let down or led astray by their carefully prepared and exceptionally curated bag of beans.
