Great coffee shop. Very clean and friendly staff. Large selection of drinks and pastries. Vegan scone was amazing as was the croissant. Tasty coffee with what I think is a unique flavor. Overall a great experience. Pretty quiet but steady for a Sunday morning.

Our drinks: iced local maple syrup latte with oatmilk Iced americano Iced hibiscus tea All our drinks were really good. The local maple latte was the standout. Not overwhelmingly maple syrupy and the crunchies were a nice touch. Espresso to milk ratio was perfect. Their double chocolate cookie was warmed up, and very good! We passed through here on our way home to NJ from Vermont, and it is off Rt-87 South. If you have passed Albany and don't want to reroute back, this is a nice place to stop for a quick bite and have a coffee. They also has savory and sweet pastries in the counter. Service is friendly and personal.

This coffee shop is so cute and modern. The coffee was absolutely delicious and lattes were made to perfection. I got the local maple latte and loved the taste. I showed up with a group of 6 people, which is probably more of a rush that the shop is used to. There was only 1 person working and she acted as the barista/ cashier - she was extremely friendly and made sure to answer any of our questions. Great experience and highly recommend.

The new ownership has a better assortment of pastry and has added soup and sandwiches. A bunch of new faces behind the counter as well.

The shop offers everything you want or need: comfy seating, warm environs, genuinely friendly and attentive service, delicious from-scratch foods and beverages, and good prices. The trays of homemade baked goods coming straight out of the kitchen looked and smelled wonderful, too. Hudson Roastery is really good at what it does. I highly recommend it!

Incredibly bummed, especially seeing all the positive press around the quality and the sourcing…read morethey claim to approach business with, that quite a lot of the food being served was from SYSCO or another large similar restaurant supply vendor, ordered by the case and baked from frozen. Now first off, don't get me wrong, buying in bulk or sacrificing the quality of some ingredients to large suppliers like this is definitely a reality when running a restaurant. Even moreso in this day and age when ingredient prices are exorbitant. That said, it needs to be reflected in the price point. Pastries are arranged beautifully under cloches in the display case, but I could spot the premade, ready-to-bake spinach feta bistro (https://www.chefswarehouse.com/products/QZ119984/) or ham and cheese croissant (https://www.chefswarehouse.com/products/99971/) from a mile away. The avocado spread on the preassembled breakfast sandwiches is definitely the pulp from the 3lb bag from Chef's Warehouse too. I know that taste! All of that said, they had a few items in the case that I'm sure weren't from one of these big vendors. Which was great to see. My (yes, unsolicited!) advice would be to pare down the menu. Offer just a bit less so you can focus on the quality. Try and tap into some local producers if you can! That's one of the best things about the Hudson Valley... how much all the purveyors and markets and cafes support each other. It's clear too how much they care about the community. They're dog friendly inside. No WiFi to encourage people to chat with one another. Fine. I really want to see this place continue to thrive, it's just a bit of a bummer that a significant part of the menu including things that really should be fresh, aren't.

We had the dark roast and would have thought it would be a little more robust in flavor but it wasn't. It seemed a bit weak like not enough coffee used or the roast wasn't roasted dark enough. The service was great however so that was a plus. Nice and friendly staff all the way around. There were a lot of locals there so it seems to do a decent business. But to be honest, it's the only coffee house in town. The place seemed a bit dark and dirty. The exhaust system must be not working or not strong enough because the entire place smelled of what ever was being cooked on the griddle. We sat upstairs and our eyes watered the entire time we were there. The odor got on our clothes and stuck with us until we got home. Their restroom wasn't clearly marked and was kind of hidden back by the kitchen area. It was also very dark where it was located. A little more light all the way around would be helpful. The concept and decor is a great idea but it felt more like what we use to call a "greasy spoon" restaurant than a quaint coffee house. It won't take much to make it better but as it is, can't say much good about the experience it Iron Coffee Co. I hope they take this review in a positive light as there really isn't much that needs to be done to make it a very special place to go for coffee. Note: We didn't have anything to eat so can't comment on that.

I also liked that they offered three single origins as options. I went with the Papua New Guinea. It was great. Krafted is serious about coffee. Now they have a serious location too. 5 Stars

The service name was Emily she was wonderful explained everything how stuff works and everything and what the taste differences are. What was nice was if they had a Brewed flavored coffee that day was like I believe is called lemon, blueberry, blueberry lemon, it was delicious. We also had it with a homemade lemon muffin, which from the top right to the last bite, was tons of lemon taste. I'm only here in the Berkshires for a week after coming in from New York and stop there just to grab a coffee because I yelped it and on my yelp page that's what it came up with. It also has an elevator for those that need handicapped accessibility. I won't get back there again this trip but the next time I come into town I will definitely go over there and have coffee. The only downside I found was that it only had seating inside the shop several couches, benches tables and chairs. Very decorative nice selection of gifts. We did buy some stickers for gifts for people. The only thing I wish it would've had was maybe outside seating. but doesn't that just the best place ever quiet calm relaxing there's a few other shops on the same floor there's like a Health Place couple of hair salons , a secondhand consignment shop and a crystal shop so it has a nice selection of shops down below, along with their coffee, store and business.

I did like the coffee when I brought it home to make and try. So just recently, I realized where it was located in Troy and is open on the weekends with delicious looking breakfast sandwiches, so of course I hightailed it out there. I knew by the pictures online it was located in a old garage but was surprised to see two businesses in there. The place is spotless, and I grabbed the coffee bag to make at home that I wanted with a little assistance. It's not by any means a value but it's good, a 12 oz for like $22 a bag but thing different flavors/types are also a dollar or so different in price. Got that and a breakfast sandwich to go which is eggs and sausage with a homemade mayo . I was talking a little to my bf and than found out I had to go next door to Superette to pick up my sandwich. Two businesses working together. Same hours and weekends. Picked it up and trotted happy outside to the little tables to eat it, and it was amazing. Very tasty and served on a big English muffin. I believe you can order the sandwich, probably at either business.
