    Great view

Stopped in here for lunch. Such a nice place. The staff is so friendly. And the food is great. Dog friendly outside. I got the Rachel. It was delicious. My wife got the salad. I highly recommend stopping by here. It's always a nice time.

We rushed over in the morning to try the famous cinnamon rolls. We got there maybe an hour/1.5 hours after opening, the line was already very long and barely any baked goods were left. No cinnamon rolls so it felt like a wasted trip.

Stopped in for a coffee and sweet treat. I wish I was hungry for lunch because they had a corn chowder and grilled cheese lunch special which looked amazing! We order a cappuccino, large drip coffee, a cinnamon roll, and the apple crumble cake. It was a hard decision because everything looked delicious. The coffees were both good and cinnamon bun was delicious!! I would get again! The apple crumb cake was good but wasn't my favorite. I felt it needed a little more flavor, maybe either cinnamon or more apple. I couldn't put my finger on it. There is a big wrap around porch with tables that you can sit and eat at. Dogs are allowed on the porch! I wish we were in the area longer so I could have tried more!

The cutest little coffee shop. We stopped at twice different signs on a Sunday. They get fairly busy so at some points it is hard to find a seat. The coffee was delicious and they have seasonal specialty coffees which are fun, although I did not try. My friend got the cinnamon roll and the icing on it is divine. All of the food looked amazing. Great casual/cute food and coffee option in town!

    SMOKED SALMON TARTINE

Great breakfast and lunch spot just before you hit the Main Street. Pastries are first come, first serve so get there early if you want the cinnamon rolls. I had the SMOKED SALMON TARTINE, which was delicious. Simple ingredients with lots of flavor. Toast, cream cheese, smoke salmon, and a local beer. Left feeling satisfied with my choice despite everyone around me eating their egg sandwich. Beautiful views of the mountains if you sit outside Not very assessable if you are bringing a carriage or wheelchair. There is an elevator toward the back of the restaurant, but you'll need to go around a number of tables before being able to enter the restaurant.

Very busy breakfast spot. My of the bread and cinnamon buns were so out at 10am. Great latte. But the breakfast sandwiches were OK and very expensive for what it is. If you have to drive 30 minutes, like us, probably not worth it. Food is really not that good.

I came here for the cinnamon roll, but sadly they were sold out. However, every other baked good was delicious and I loved their chai latte. The ambiance is super cute and perfect for a little weekend trip upstate. I will definitely have to come back for that cinnamon roll.

Casual breakfast place with a spectacular view if you sit outside w/c we did! They allow dogs outside to join you w/c is certainly a plus! Came on a Monday morning and it was still pretty crowded but was also Columbus Day! They have lots of danishes to choose from but my husband and I opted for breakfast sandwiches, he had their egg with bacon on sour dough bread and I had the salmon tartine with cappuccinos. It was probably the best salmon tartine I ever had, it was smoked salmon and very tasty with red onions and capers and flavor just bursted in my mouth with every bite! It was divine and I'm so glad I had it! You order first then find a table, rustic feel and perfect view of the mountain outside! I wanted to go back the next day before leaving but they're closed on Tuesday! Def recommend and will come back whenever I'm in town!

Must visit if you're in the area! Super cute cafe with delicious baked goods, coffees, and sandwiches. They have the fluffiest cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting that are so irresistible. Everything I've ordered had been great so you can't go wrong. It gets busy on the weekends so be sure to come early for the best selection, as they sell out of popular items.

The most perfect cappuccino. And the cinnamon bun and lemon rosemary scone was excellent. Breakfast was good. We got there at a very busy time so we had to sit outside, which was not ideal but it was beautiful anyway. Everyone was very friendly!

Fellow Mountain Cafe in Hunter nestled near the entrance to Hunter Mountain is a cafe showcasing local ingredients. We stopped here before Hunter Mountain to fuel up for some snow tubing and shared a cinnamon roll, sausage egg and cheese on brioche, and the Lockwood (eggs, cheddar, braised greens on sourdough topped with chili aioli). The menu is simple but the quality of the local ingredients shines though. This is a great venue for a breakfast or lunch before or after hitting the slopes

The waitress was fine but clearly very busy. We had mentioned wanting to get dessert at the beginning but when we were done eating, she had just brought us our check - we were too fully anyway. I had the garden salad sandwich on farm bread. The avocado wasn't the freshest and there was only one tiny piece of tomato - this will probably be a good sandwich in peak summer. The sandwiches came with chips and salsa. The store made mango salsa is delicious. Locally made root beer in a bottle was delicious and unique. The baked goods were quite pricey (almost $9 for a small square of raspberry bread). The bathrooms are on the otherwise by the kids toys.

Definitely what you would picture in those classic movies/shows. Food was 10/10!! I ordered the buttermilk pancakes which is what they are most famous for and for good reason too! Fluffy and light and amazing portions (5 big pancakes with mixed berries)! The pancakes were so good that we bought a bag of pancake mix to take home. My sister ordered the eggs any way and she loved everything that came with it: eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, potatoes, and toast. Everything on the menu looked absolutely delicious and it was hard to decide what to order. They have weekly specials as well. Our waitress Susie was an absolute sweetheart and made our entire experience memorable. That being that we had asked her for some more water and by the time she came back around, someone else had already stopped by and filled up our glasses. She apologized for the delay by giving us a free chocolate chip cookie and it was the best damn cookie I've had in a long time. She went above and beyond for something that wasn't a big deal, but we appreciated the thought. I'd definitely come back here if I'm near the area.

I went with the tavern steak sandwich ($22). The fries were the steak kind but not too fat and wedge-y. There was a totally reasonable amount of Muenster and steak, and I found that the sandwich didn't really need the accompanying steak sauce. The mac & cheese ($14) was a delightful appetizer made with a whopping five different cheeses! Last Chance mentions both antiques and cheese in its name so we had to investigate both. Instead of a separate shop, the antiques are all around the restaurant, and our server said some are for sale and some belong to the owner's private collection but he seems possibly open to offers. The cheese and gifts are in an area on the other side of the bar, with the cheese behind a counter. I thought the cheese collection would be larger and have more NY options, but it was still a solid selection. If you plan on purchasing any candy or other treats after your meal, just let your server know so you can take your bill over there.
