Spent a girl's weekend up here and were given this place as a recommendation for breakfast and it was really yummy. The woman that attended to us made our experience very pleasant. I came here after a weekend of camping with my friends. This reminded me of Cracker Barrel which I low key have an obsession over. The food here was truly amazing. I loved the breakfast. I went with the farmer's omelet with corn beef hash on the side. No pics because my phone was charging. My friend got the banana pecan French toast ,which I tried and it was so good. Such a great experience here. There was a 30 minute wait for a group of 7. No sweat though because there's cornhole outside and a farm with a bunch of cats and other animals. So we found this one not too far from home and made the trek down to Windham which we found to be a beautiful area. It's a family friendly place with playscape and small animals for kids to see and store is stocked with the usual fare of condiments, spices, candles, etc... There's also a cafe inside and we decided to have breakfast while there, we both ordered omelettes with homefries and toast, she got fresh squeezed oj and everything was really good, both omelettes were fluffy and stuffed with meat and veggies, HF were also really good. Saw they offered egg creams and decided to have one, been a fan of them since moving up to NY. Staff was friendly and place is patrolled by rescue cats. We'll be back for sure. read more

Terrible service. We came here as a small family. No one was in the store except on lady walking around in the tourist trap junk section. We asked if they were open for breakfast yet. She said no. The menu offered so much so I'm glad I picked beforehand or else the waiter would have had to make multiple rounds! The Cup of Coffee ($2.50), for starters, came in a beautiful fall-appropriate mug. It matched the outdoor patio ambiance perfectly. I got the Tall Tale ($16.99), which I chose a side of Home Fries and White Toast. The Toast was nicely buttered, and probably my favorite of the plate. The eggs were too dry for my preference so you might want to pop in some condiments to pump them up a little. The Home Fries were disappointingly on the hard side. The trout didn't offer much, although they were worth the try. The slight sour cream in the eggs helped in adding flavor to the overall omelette. The Valentine Burger ($17.99) was not the best burger we had but probably the healthiest. The patty was nice and juicy in a gorgeous red pink color. The fries were delicious and crispy! Best for last was the Stars and Stripes Pancakes ($13.99), which came with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. I been to many diners before, but I never had this soft of a pancake before. Thin pancakes are the way to go! They tasted so fruity and sweet with the blueberries meshed in! Although the salty foods were not the best we had, they were still enjoyable given the extensive options they can offer. Have their pancakes for a guarantee win! We waited 1/2 an hour for a table, once seated, we were greeted by our waiter. He took our order, drinks and food. About 19 mins later, a couple sat next to us. They ordered, and received their drinks before we did. We had to chase down the waiter for our drinks. We must have sat for 45 minutes, waiting for our food, while everyone else being served. What was really bad was when the couple next to us got served. At that point, we got up, left money in the table for our drinks and walked out. This is inexcusable, no one even recognized us leaving. Stopped here while on the road upstate and it's an adorable non chain version of Cracker Barrel complete with local country store. Large menu and great burgers and they have the Beyond Burger. They have their own line of hot sauces and all sorts of home made things. Outside they have a pirate ship and a playground perfect for a long road stop with the kids. They also have rescued animals in back that they've turned into a small petting zoo. Super friendly service and overall great gem in the area. Great place to settle your long overdue indulgence from skiing. Stopped here for brunch on MLK weekend. Menu is large with all kinds of breakfast options and long list of pancakes. Restaurant is a part of a store where they sell baked and jarred goods and all sorts of other local offerings and trinkets. Ambiance is very similar to a Cracker Barrel. Eggs Benedict was absolutely fantastic - highly recommend. It was served with a white gravy sauce instead of the traditional hollandaise sauce. White sauce was essentially a butter, flour, milk base which complemented the dish perfectly as I was hesitant to betray my beloved hollandaise and opt for something else on the menu. Potatoes to accompany were delicious too. Omelette looked great as we peeked over to the table's dishes next to us. Pancakes were good but texture was a bit grainy and seemed as if something went wrong with the batter - overstirred perhaps? Corned beef hash was also good. Nice and warm people running the place. The bakery is great too, I got a bunch of cookies and apple cider doughnuts recently for a party and everyone loved them.
