Nice cozy atmosphere with wood tables. Menu varies probably when you go. I had: Curry Melt (must get) Pb banana toast (great - split as huge)
A friend recommended this spot for the sour cream pancakes and the entire menu ended up delicious. The pancakes were a classic, tasty dish with their cinnamon butter and local syrup. The breakfast sandwich on a fluffy brioche bun was a must with the honey sriracha sauce on it as well. The breakfast burrito, though, is the real star. Filled to the gills and extremely tasty.
Such a cute place in Catskills. Was nearby for a wedding and needed to find a place to get work done. The pastries change every day and ran out by the mid afternoon. There was a big rush around 10am and at a certain point the wait was 45 min for an order. Overall there's a decent amount of seating and wifi. Didn't look too hard but I had a table near an outlet. Also free water and dog friendly.
A cute and lively coffee shop/casual eatery in the Catskills. It was packed when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, and we had to wait a bit for seats to open up for our large party. I ordered the curry melt sandwich but also tried the sweet potato latkes and banana peanut butter French toast. No complaints about any of these dishes--they were all excellent and fresh. The only downside was the long wait: there was a 40-minute delay for food orders, which was unfortunate. It was really pleasant though to see so much food variety at a coffee shop and none of the other food items my party ordered were bad. Other than the long wait, this place is a great communal spot to grab coffee and a fresh bite. It's also nice being able to walk a few minutes to the Main Street area afterward or take a stroll along the water near the building. .
Willa's was one of my favorite cafes in the catskill area. Has a cozy old school mill feel with new school finds. Located on the art campus just off the edge of catskill creek. Menu provides just what you need for a satisfying brunch. Sweets and savory galore. Had the egg sandwhich and bfast burrito. Indulged in some sticky buns, cinny buns and an apple tart? Everything was super fresh and tasty. Favorites were probably the cinny bun and burrito. Also grabbed the Pumpkin Latte and Vietnamese iced coffew which was just as good. Everyone was super nice to us. Highly recommend! Dog friendly.
Willa's cinnamon roll is the best! I got an array of baked items on a busy Sunday morning and the staff could not have been nicer helping me pick out some things. After they packed everything away into boxes and a bag, the precious cargo survived my walk home. Honestly, I just want to know how they make the cinnamon rolls so amazingly good. They are gooey, not too big, and I want to say I tasted something caramelized. The sticky bun was almost just as delicious. I also recommend the marzipan babka, which I didn't know was a thing! Lovely bakery along the creek and easy to find off the main street in Catskill. It's one of the very few places in town that's a coffee shop and has a larger menu of breakfast/lunch food and baked goods. I look forward to returning when I'm back in town.
The cutest lil spot right in downtown catskill ! We got the breakfast burrito and trout toast and both were great. Reasonable prices and good portions. Trout toast comes de-constructed with sour dough (can opt for house made bagel for $2) but I personally enjoyed the option of putting it together myself! The Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong and not overly sweet, the aloha was lovely and light. Since I got it iced the fresh coconut milk had some condensed bits and I honestly enjoyed them as a bonus treat lol! The whole vibe of the place was warm and inviting, yet open and airy. The servers were all kind and knowledgeable. Note: it's a breakfast/lunch spot so make sure you get there before they close! Ya don't wanna miss it :)
This comfortable cafe is situated just a block off Main Street in Catskill. Provides assorted pastries and hot and cold beverages as well as tasty food items. The space is roomy and air conditioned. Dine in or take out option. We thoroughly enjoyed our BLT and sausage and peppers. The latter had sliced apples, pickles and red peppers. Delicious! The BLT had a generous portion of high quality bacon. Pricing is very reasonable and service friendly. You too will love this place!
What a gem of a little cafe! I took a trip upstate this past weekend to escape the chaos of Manhattan for a bit - as someone who has had their fair share of yummy sweet treats and breakfast burritos in the city, I was not expecting to have discovered my new favorites at a small town upstate! Breakfast Burrito: SUPER flavorful - every component of the burrito, from the eggs to the beans to the veggies to the potatoes, was seasoned really well. Too often I eat breakfast burritos where the flavor seems to come exclusively from the salsa. That was not the case here (although the salsas were so tasty) Cinnamon Roll: not sure how cinnamon-y the cinnamon roll was in hindsight, but it was SUCH a delicious surprise. The inside was super buttery, unlike the more bready cinnamon rolls I've had before. My almond milk latte left something to be desired, hence 4/5 stars - would recommend oat milk as a substitute milk over almond, as my friends' drinks tasted great.

Ok... so we were renting the house across the street for the weekend and needed something to eat, walked by and was still unsure. Well I am so glad we double backed and walked in. We split a burger and a tuna. Along with a side of taters. I am literally stumped for words as to how much of a gem this place is... everything was amazing. This has to be one of the BEST burgers I have ever had it was cooked to perfection, the spicy sauce was just the right amount of heat. . The tuna had cranberries, onion and was also amazing, I never order tuna out and if it was like I would a lot more! The potatoes, those crispy little chunks of goodness!! We are excited to try breakfast tomorrow.

You know when you get a meal in an out-of-town restaurant and are just so sad when you know you won't get that same thing when you go home? We left so happy and wishing for more. When they advertised homemade baked goods, they were understating. Man, this place is a gem. I had the breakfast sandwich which was melt-in-your mouth, off the charts, eye-rolling good. The herb mayo? Holy cow! Hubby ordered the breakfast burrito and he said that it was the best he'd ever eaten. We were in the Catskills, so we had to have a decent bagel, and the gluttony was excused because we knew we weren't going to have the real thing again. We walked away fat, full, and happy! Service? Amazing. Ambience? Charming. Clean. Delightful. read more

Willa's was bustling on a Saturday morning. They have indoor seating and none outdoors. They had a selection of pastries including one vegan (blueberry muffin) and one gluten free. The coffee was good but we did notice it was hazelnut flavored and preferred that any flavored coffee would mentioned ahead of time. read more
Fantastic coffee shop with a great brunch menu and baked goods! I visited on a Sunday afternoon and boy was it busy. After seeing their brunch menu, I can see why! Unfortunately, I had eaten beforehand so I didn't get to try anything off their brunch menu but hopefully next time. I opted for a pumpkin latte and cinnamon roll. The latte was absolutely delicious and strong, which I loved. The cinnamon roll was gooey and had a nice crisp bottom and was delicious. The space is super cozy and would be a great place to get some work done. Every employee I interacted with was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend Willa's and I can't wait to go back! read more

Ok... so we were renting the house across the street for the weekend and needed something to eat, walked by and was still unsure. Well I am so glad we double backed and walked in. We split a burger and a tuna. Along with a side of taters. I am literally stumped for words as to how much of a gem this place is... everything was amazing. This place was so, so great. Awesome vibes, great music playing. The girl at the counter was wonderful. I was greeted and welcomed with a smile and excitement. She was attentive, offered suggestions, and knew the menu well. I ordered the mocha latte and a cranberry scone while I waited. Delicious! I loved how the latte wasn't overly sweet. They move like a well oiled machine as well. Keeping the place tidy and surrounded with a fun and energetic atmosphere. I ordered the falafel wrap as well. All was very, very good! Stumbling upon this coffee shop and happy I did! The cinnamon roll was so buttery and delicious & paired well with my latte. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Highly recommend if you're staying in Catskill! read more

Coffee was meh, weak on the espresso (2 iced lattes vanilla and maple, as well as a mocha), Earl Grey was the best drink that our table ordered. Baked goods all looked exceptional. We tried a cornbread muffin (yum, very rich butter taste, looked like it was cooked in a well-seasoned cast iron muffin tin) and a buttermilk biscuit. That biscuit will live in my mind rent-free forever I think, chewy and flakey, almost croissant-esque but dense. Absolutely exceptional. We ordered two of the breakfast burritos - honestly? One can feed two adults. They are dense, fiber & protein heavy and very very filling. Great spice mix. read more
The food I had was very good and I love being able to eat healthy food like quinoa when out so I can save empty calories for dessert and oh look they have from scratch homey baked goods right here too so Yay Willa's meets all my culinary needs. It's good but lacks close attention to make dish Uber-delicious. Space is bright and welcoming. Bring the old lady some water or knife is that too much trouble sometimes ordering at counter is slightly annoying and a good lunch and dessert should only be wonderful in this nice spot. Good luck with parking! Try across Bridge St on Water St if the few parking spots near Willa's are taken. read more
Came to Catskills for the getaway and wanted to explore Checked out Willa and Hilo based on reviews on Yelp Willa is so cute! Came here the first day and every day after. Coffee is good Food is good Baked goods are yummy- changes daily but I heard they have coffee cake and cinnamon rolls everyday Egg sandwich- surprised at how good the bread was. Almost croissant like. The eggs are always so soft and yummy! Couldn't taste the cheese as much... Cinnamon roll- my bf said this was the best cinnamon roll he's had. I thought it needed a little more cinnamon. It was sooooo soft and had that slight chew which made it good. Also the icing wasn't overpowering. Perfect with a latte or black coffee :) Coffee cake- what is this supposed to taste like? I thought it was okay. I prob wouldn't get it again and get something else cus there's so many other things. I think people like it cus the second day I went to Willa's after 11:30 there was like one or two pieces left Meatball Sammie- my bf and I really likes this and the pickles it came with were also really good! The meatballs and sauce were delicious and I loved the texture Quiche- thin and I prob wouldn't get it again Croissants- bacon Swiss and bacon cheddar were both really good... BUT doesn't taste like buttery croissant but more like flaky bread Specialty tea- they have black tea but we wanted something without caffeine and they had water with cucumbers, lemon, and mint... uh we paid 3.50 for a cup of cucumber water. Wish they gave us more for the price we paid I wish I ordered more food cus everything was so good! I will def be trying more things if I go back :) service was great! read more

Friendly service and generous amounts of food. Enjoyed our seasonal pancake which is egg nogg and cranberry. Their maple and brown sugar lattes are highly recommended and not overly sweet. When it's not busy, there is plenty of seating. Recommend getting there early if it is a weekend! read more

Was staying at the Catskills Getaway cabins in Cairo, and found this breakfast/brunch spot via Yelp. You order at the counter and food is brought to you, drinks called out when ready by your name. The reviews and photos brought us in, as we have had smoked trout fries in Coasta Rica earlier this year, and have been "chasing the dragon". I saw this on the menu and we had to try it, came specifically to try it. It did not disappoint! It was delicious! Every ingredient was meant to be together. The burrito was very good as well, I added sausage. It was huge so it was a bit difficult to pick up and eat but it was so good I just ate it with a fork and knife. The lattes were good and I love that they were served in real mugs. We were very pleased we gave this quaint small business a visit during our stay in the Catskills. read more

This was my second time at Willa's and it was just as awesome as the first time I went! The staff is so incredibly helpful and takes the extra time to ask you how your day is going or if you need any recommendations. So kind always! The space is filled with natural light and is perfect to catch up with a friend or work remotely in. I shared the sour cream pancakes, the taters, the BLT, and I had my own latte. The sour cream pancakes were tangy and sweet with the syrup poured on top; so tasty. I dream about these taters! So good with the onions and you need to get them with the herb mayo! The BLT had the perfect thick cut bacon and was so crisp. I also had the coconut scone and currant cruller at home. I couldn't grab a pic because I devoured them so quickly. Everything tastes like it has love poured into it. Love, love, love this spot! read more

What a gem. Some of the BEST baked goods in the "hood". Thoughtfully and stylishly laid out with a minimalist country feel. Views of the creek from the back seating area. There is a reason it is busy! And well worth any wait. It is nice to see a small local business supporting other local small businesses showcasing seasonal and local menu items. I have never had anything here I do not love. The coffee cake is to die for! There is a limit of six bakery items per group, because they are a small batch bakery.. which is a blessing for me personally... everything is so delicious this party of one could easily exceed that limit myself. Great Job Team Willa. Thank you for all your hard work!!! read more
