The interior is really cute with nostalgic characters all over like Simpsons, peanuts, and more! The muffins are pretty good; baked fresh daily (get there early)! The drip coffee is good if you arrive early. Otherwise the containers are empty and or luke warm. The owner I'm assuming is probably a really kind person generally; but the day we stopped in most recently she was cold and off putting. The lattes and hot chocolate were too damn hot and I like mine extra hot. It's worth a stop and they do have another person working there now to help out.

My first review of this coffee spot was 5 years ago. Nothing has changed. Regular and locals are fully aware that if you walk in here you will wait 10 minutes to place your order. Even if it's a cup of drip coffee which is self serve expect to wait 10 minutes to pay for it. You might just walk out cause you don't know if anyone will ever come out of the back because somebody ordered a toasted bagel and they must go in the back to make it. You might think "oh only one person in front of me it shouldn't take long" nope 10 minutes minimum. A slow winter Tuesday morning or a busy weekend in Fall still expect to wait 10 minutes even if there's no one online. What you didn't notice is the two people sitting in the corner that ordered 2 things. It is one of the better cups of coffee around so basically if any other customer is in the store prepare to wait. It's usually quiet and plenty of seating. Or you can go to the next establishment that somehow figured out that a person shouldn't wait 10 minutes in an empty store for a cup of coffee. .....and no I am not exaggerating....also no this isn't a case of "it's the country things move slower" - this isn't the country unless you are from the city, to city people this is basically Canada.

Great little coffee roaster and cute humble cafe/coffee shop. Breakfast and lunch menu including various coffeee and tea drinks, smoothies and juices. We went with the Cantine juice which was fantastic! Food was basic but delicious. Coffee beans available for purchase too!

Cute little coffee shop off of the Main Street. As a prior reviewer mentioned, there is one staff member working (owner maybe?) but does her best to get things done in a timely manner. Hey, I came for a great cup of coffee-grinding, brewing, or all takes time. I'd rather wait a little and have an amazing cup of coffee-over a quick serve watered down cup. If you want fast service go to a McDonald's. If you want a locally roasted delicious coffee, come to Bluestone. Because I was having the coffee inside, I was offered a coffee mug and told To help myself-free refills! Amazing! The bluestone brew is so good I purchased a bag of beans to take home and ground to post to a friend. The last ground the beans for me to the desired fine. When ordering I mentioned I was a little hungry but not enough for their plates offered and I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet (though all their baked goods looked delicious), the lady offered to do avocado toast. The delicious avocado toast and unlimited refills of coffee was $7, that's right, $7! I was in heaven. I enjoyed three cups of coffee. I left to do some shopping and before leaving the area went back and ordered an iced coffee for the road. Definitely will be back again-DELICIOUS coffee.

We stopped by for an iced coffee and a chunky monkey. Both tasted good and were decently priced.

Friendly service and great iced coffee. They have juice, smoothies, espresso, and lattes too!

I am down for the local coffee shop and this one does not disappoint. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is nice with friendly staff. If you dine in, Blue Stone asks that you use the regular mugs instead of the disposable paper cups to cut down on waste and due to shortages. That's good with me. There's a few different drip coffee roasts available every day ranging from light to dark and you can't go wrong with any of them. I didn't know there was breakfast but saw someone had eggs so I definitely got breakfast burrito and taco the next couple times and they hit the spot. No salsa but hot sauce is available. Honestly this is my spot any time I'm in the village.

Coffee is good (get the Bluestone Blend!), and I love the tea selection too--try the Boulder Blue.

We were here for some cold drinks and the cooler filled with water had a variety of options, sizes and prices. Two large bottles for $2.50, how could I say no? Easy, quick, convenient. It's the Speedway. [Review 11494 overall, 1274 of 2019.]

Having had the chance to try out some of the almost missing Speedways in my area I had never…read morethought about before (because they are so out of the 'line of sight for me'), when a few of my Uber trips took me out into Saugerties, I thought I'd stop in yesterday and although my initial intention was to just get gas with a pay at the pump order, when I noticed that things went off without too much of a hitch and I had some money, I thought about going inside. At first, I wasn't 100% sure of what exactly I wanted. I had forgotten to check Yelp's page for the former Hess Station here, so I didn't know that they had (not anymore) a former Baskin Robbins here, I was like maybe they'll have those f'real shakes I can get for relatively cheap prices. I was in need of something to pick me back up from the slump I fell into yesterday and thought one of these shakes would be my ticket out. But when I began perusing around, I noticed that they did t have these machines either. So I went looking..."what can I find now?" I asked myself. But that's when I turned around in an aisle and spotted the candy with a delicious deal of 2 for $3.33. I might not have known which candies at first, but all of a sudden, you had my mouth watering when I noticed the Reese's Big Cup with the Reese's Pieces inside to which I also spotted a rare find in a candy Bar of Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch - Mint (I can generally find just the Vanilla or Vanilla Caramel flavors only at some stores but the Mint one is seldom found.) However, that wasn't all. I splurged when I bought one more set of two of two others (Butterfinger and Kit Kat). I knew I'd have something for my snack drawer for when I got home (but I had enough and ate them later last night and into this morning.) I brought them up to the register and things went off without a hitch. I had my SpeedyRewards card ready and before I even realized, he was trying to scan my card but I had the cash near it , but when I realized this, I course corrected and let him ring in the barcode. It might have seemed like I was day-dreaming before paying at the register, but I can assure you that I wasn't. I made sure that the employee rung it up as 2 of those sales sets as I asked, as I handed the employee my money. His machine handed me my change followed by some other paper change from the clerks hands, as I busily put away my SpeedyRewards card away in my wallet. And having hated pennies in my change, I dropped the penny in the under/over tip bin. I hated for the one penny I dropped in to have seemed like a one cent bad tip for bad service but I explained to them that I just hate pennies, pocketing the rest of my loose change in my pocket. If only this location was closer to the center of downtown Saugerties and not so far into the boondocks of Saugerties that it gets forgotten about. I don't travel the Thruway much and stop in at Saugerties, so I don't expect to see this location very often.
