There were 5-6 people behind the counter, all loudly gossiping with each other, but only 2 seemed to be making a drink. As the line grew behind me, there was no attempt to help anyone. When it was finally my turn, the first eye contact was when the screen with tip choices was pivoted to me. Its a shame, as the brewed Columbian coffee I bought was good even though it was not fleshed brewed and sat in a pump thermos. I hope the owner understands how lucky they are that people seek out their business thats on a one way street...but if rude staff makes you feel ignored and like an outsider, Starbucks is much easier to find and be ignored at.

He mentioned that we needed to check out Kru as he helps roasts their beans as well. We are SO happy we did! The menu is not overwhelming, not too fancy, but simple. I appreciated that the baristas working were beyond friendly and open to answering any questions that came their why. I bought a medium drip and a bag of their dark roast. The drip was not acidic, brewed perfectly. We can't wait to try the beans we bought as well!!

The coffee (I ordered the White Tail blend) was roasted literally the day before it shipped. You can't beat that level of freshness. The flavor is smooth, rich, and just downright delicious. It's officially my new favorite coffee. I'll definitely be ordering it again soon--and I'm excited to try some of their other roasts too.
