Service was efficient and friendly, the coffee was tasty and I had a fantastic empanada that exceeded my expectations. The inside was a little dark, but that is the vibe. I didn't realize they had reopened until I saw them next to the relocated Penzey's. Hooray! Two things I miss from the old location are the ability to buy coffee beans, and the more eclectic layout. No worries about the beans these days. Their new site is a much more regular layout, but it's more than adequately compensated by a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere, with more space behind the counter to prepare foods. And that counter holds a lot of other confections as well. Their regular coffee is a bit mild, but there's so many other options if you want to vary your coffee's strength and flavor. I liked the variety of teas available too (mostly hot, but some iced). Service is attentive, and your orders come out quickly. This remains a great alternative to other fast food options along Wolf Rd.

Walking in, this spot is a mad scientist lab. Large roasters are front and center, this isn't a classroom but a coffee laboratory! I did like the coffee when I brought it home to make and try. So just recently, I realized where it was located in Troy and is open on the weekends with delicious looking breakfast sandwiches, so of course I hightailed it out there. I knew by the pictures online it was located in a old garage but was surprised to see two businesses in there. The place is spotless, and I grabbed the coffee bag to make at home that I wanted with a little assistance. It's not by any means a value but it's good, a 12 oz for like $22 a bag but thing different flavors/types are also a dollar or so different in price. Got that and a breakfast sandwich to go which is eggs and sausage with a homemade mayo . I was talking a little to my bf and than found out I had to go next door to Superette to pick up my sandwich. Two businesses working together. Same hours and weekends. Picked it up and trotted happy outside to the little tables to eat it, and it was amazing. Very tasty and served on a big English muffin. I believe you can order the sandwich, probably at either business.

The menu is extensive because it includes so many combinations. It even includes energy drinks. I immediately noted that prices are certainly better than Starbucks. The options for coffees and teas are greater than at Starbucks or Dunkin'. I decided on-- Hot: The Cappuccino was prepared nicely and tasted like those made at restaurants. Cold: The Georgia Peach Tea was incredibly flavorful. Five Stars for these drinks. Drive thru was quick and convenient. The staff is helpful and patient as you decide on your order. I will return to try more beverages if I am in mood for more than my boring Go To Dunkin' Decaf Coffee. They advertise-- "7 Brew Coffee differentiates itself through a high-speed, drive-thru-only model focusing on extreme customization, offering over 20,000 combinations of coffee, energy drinks, and teas. Stopped by for coffee and a quick breakfast sandwich on our way out of town. Parking lot was nearly full but it's shared w a smoothie place and other businesses. That being said, almost everyone was at UG and for good reason. The line was out the door when we got inside. I was discouraged and ready to angrily wait, but I was wrong! The line moved quickly and a staff were friendly for a busy morning. I had the summer blend hot and wife had an iced latte. The hot coffee was tasty. Low acidity, smooth and balanced. Only complaint was that it could have been just a click hotter for me. I don't necessarily want to burn my esophagus, but this was only lukewarm. The iced latte was delicious. We each had an egg sandwich on a bagel and they were terrific. Soft and chewy bagel with plenty of flavor. We took a couple cookies home from the case and Oh Em Geeeeee! Phenomenal! Now I regret not getting the bag of yesterday's bagels at the door. Even "day old" I bet these things are great!

Uncommon Grounds nails it on both counts and is a great spot to get a little work done to boot. Stopped by this location when I was in the area for some coffee and breakfast. I'm usually in search of sugar free options as well as milk alternatives. Uncommon Grounds had a couple sugar free options (yay! caramel and vanilla) and a few different milk alternatives. I got a caramel latte made with almond milk and it was dreamy. For my breakfast, I got the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. It came with egg, spinach, avocado, tomato, and a bit of pesto. Delicious! The only tiny thing for me was the tomato made the sandwich kinda slippery and difficult to eat so the next time I ordered it (which was literally the next day), I got it with double the spinach and no tomato. The service was really lovely and the prices are reasonable. They're a popular spot and were pretty busy when I was in and even with that everyone was so kind and helpful. Get to it!
