Checking out all the local small businesses in our new city-- and White Rose was the first one we hit up. Their breakfast anecdote sandwiches are amazing (I recommend adding the peppers and onions!) and their pudding buns are to die for. it's become our go to place once each weekend with our little girls (they are closed for summer vacation now). I've stores in a couple of times on random weekdays and that's the only time I've found the it cream puffs, they are so good! I would also recommend their jalapeño bread, it makes great grilled cheese! The price point is great, excellent value compared to other bakeries. read more

Easily a 5 star bakery. Donuts are FANTASTICLY OUT OF THIS WORLD. They are cash only, make sure you get there early in the AM, before 9 AM would be ideal! Try the "Butterly" donut, you will absolutely be in heaven after! read more

Best tomato pie!! Great bread and doughnuts are really unbelievably great service and everything is always fresh!!

Wow! My mind is totally blown. I went here on a morning pit stop between Syracuse and Albany and am so glad I came. The customer service is one of the best I've ever seen. The breads are incredible. The western omelette bagel was absolutely to die for. I even ordered a plain burger bun and and savored it. I'd love to come back again soon. read more

I absolutely love the White Rose Bakery. My husband and I stop there quite often. They greet everyone with a smile no matter how busy they are. Very pleasant atmosphere. The baked goods are all delicious and at a good price. Miss them when they take their well earned vacations. Can't wait for our next trip to get fresh baked goods. YUM! read more

Visiting my hometown was super nostalgic and allowed me to reconnect with some of the local businesses. I had a chance to eat at a number of different places and picked up some breakfast sandwiches and tomato pie as well as some pastries from this Bakery. What a beautiful small town Bakery where everything seems to be made from scratch and there's a real authenticity to it.. this place is the definition of Upstate New York culture, and I already miss it. read more

What a sweet little bakery! It reminds me of the bakeries from 40+ years ago. Nothing fancy or newfangled, just a bakery with delicious bread, cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, donuts and of course, tomato pie. The seasonal items such as hot cross buns and stollen are always a wonderful treat. I love their hard rolls and breads - always fresh and if I get there early enough, still warm. The employees are so friendly, personable and accommodating. It's wonderful having such a gem in the area and their prices are much lower than any supermarket. Why spend twice as much for a subpar product when for less, you get such high quality at White Rose! read more

Great local town bakery! Wonderful bread, bagels, and the donuts are AMAZING!! Will define be back!

This bakery is amazing. The donuts are fresh and have a crunchy crisp around the edges. The babka bread has just the right amount of raisins and delicious with a bit of butter. The inside could use some decor but it has a couple of cute tables to enjoy coffee or cappuccino they sell and a delicious donut. I imagine bakery's are not easy to keep alive cause you have to have fresh items and if you don't make enough people get stupid agitated and if you make too much you take a loss. STOP BY YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!! Staff was very friendly by the way!! read more

I went in for the first time ever and looked around for a few seconds and all I saw were a few muffins AT 9 am! They're sold out by 9 o'clock IN THE MORNING?? Then I saw the sign that said cash only. I had no cash. Who doesn't take a card at their shop in the middle of the city or village in 2022??? Also there was a weird stale smell. read more

This bakery is as good as it gets. Small town big flavor. From jelly buns, halfmoons, eclairs. pudding buns, tail lights and glazed donuts. It really is too hard to decide what to get because it is all so good. Love this place. read more

I look forward to the weekends because of White Rose's MaryAnns--I talk about MaryAnn so much, people think I'm cheating on my girlfriend. Excellent bagels, great croissants, and friendly service. I also really enjoy their seasonal window displays--makes Main Street look great! read more

What a treat! Little unassuming bakery with great baker goods. Had a sampling of cream puff, red velvet cupcake and Maryann. All we're delicious, and reasonably priced. Will be my visiting spot when I'm in the area. read more

Delicious pastries and inexpensive too! Love this small town favorite :) had the pudding bun which I totally recommend.

A radio station in Phx does a weekly gig they call Friendsday Wednesday, where they throw a dart at the map of the US. Wherever it lands, they call a business in that town to make a new friend, learn about the business, town, etc. Beth called the bakery this morn. The employee who answered was unfriendly from the beginning and then hung up on her. It's pretty bad when you answer the phone in an unfriendly manner...but then to just hang up? Over the years, I have purposely tried to give those establishments my business but will not try to do business with White Rose. read more
