Since I moved to Utica a year ago, Yummilicious has become my favorite place for a relaxing weekend brunch. It's one of the places here where the staff makes me feel like a regular. They always have a great selection in the pastry case - I'm partial to the pavlovas and baklava - if you want to have dessert there or pick up something to go. The meals I've had have been delicious and filling. The Çlibir is a standout: thick Greek yogurt covered in spices and butter and served with poached eggs. You'll want to use the accompanying bread to soak up every drop. This is a family owned and operated business. One or two sons are always running the front of the house and are without fail warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to ask for their recommendations! They really contribute to the enjoyment of the experience here. The space is colorful and comfortable and feels like a European tea shop. The prices are very good given the high quality of the food. If you live in Utica or are just visiting, check out Yummilicious. You'll be glad you did.

This Cafe & Bakery by far have to be my favorite local bakery. I've been here many times and their baked goods are always consistently delicious. They also serve lunches on the weekends in which I haven't tried, yet. Have seen it on their Instagram and it looks just as good as their desserts. I have ordered birthday cakes here and it's always moist and on point. They have plenty of seatings for large groups and very nicely decorated inside. Family owned and service is always top notch. Lovely family.

Amazing menu, service and d atmosphere. The beautiful flower and umbrella decor gives it a year round European flair our area definitely needs. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

The establishment is very clean and bright. The service was attentive and friendly along with being very informative. We had the special which consisted of sausage, eggs, bread and cheese. The mezza was also great. This was a lot of food be for warned. They also serve amazing pastries.

My friend and I happened upon this place on a trip from Syracuse back home to Vermont! We were both so happy from the moment we arrived , the hanging umbrellas blowing in the wind to the walls decorated with flowers, and soft velvet chairs and couches to sit on! And all the extra little details the hearts on the straws the heart sugar cubes.... And the food, My friend had the Bosnian Meza plate, and I had the Cilbir which is poached eggs surrounded by a sumac spiced yogurt sauce and a side of the amazing red pepper eggplant sauce! And....luscious homemade bread to scrape up all of he sauces!!!! All of this was remarkable.... But the best part was how friendly and personable the two brothers who were waiting our table are! I wish this beautiful cafe/ restaurant was closer to my house , I would be there all the time! I will return when I am passing through and I highly recommend you to do the same! Thank you for a remarkable dining experience! -Dina

Found this hidden gem in Utica unexpectedly when the cafe that I was supposed to check is closed. Couldn't be more lucky! The outside is really cute but I was stunned when I saw how pretty and chic the inside of the cafe is. I felt like I am in Soho. (Very instagrammable!) I ordered the Bosnian breakfast and Çilbir as it was what I saw in Yelp review that looked mouthwatering. And yup, the food were all delightful. The Çilbir, DIVINE!!! Service was amazeballs! The staff, later I found out that they're all family running the business, they are exceptional. They were all so nice and cheerful to all the customers. This is gonna be my new hangout cafè in Utica whenever I wont be able to go back home to the city and for the rest of my remaining weeks til my travel assignment is over. Thank you Yummilicious!

This place has so much finesse ! I love the dainty decor and the detail down to the straws and sugars. The employees were super friendly and patient - ready to answer all our questions. The chef made each plate look perfect and the food tasted delish! (I missed taking a picture of the Ferraro Rocher crepe, but that one looked flawless as well) We will definitely be back with friends!!

Any other time, if you are not a regular, this place might not be for you. I've been here several times with mixed experiences. The last time I was there was a Thursday in the summer of 2024. My husband, brother and I were excited to find seats at the bar and order dinner. The bartender was a short blonde woman and there was a male bar back. The bartender did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. We were actively looking at the menu on our phones and talking about what we wanted to try and attempted to make eye contact with her as she walked by us with no luck. She didn't even say "I will be right with you", literally no interaction. She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We left as we felt very unwelcome there and ended up having excellent service down the street at Lukin's.

It was. Selection was somewhat limited particularly for the vegetarians but the waitress said that they could swap veggies in for the trout in the risotto. They didn't. It was just risotto. Potato leek soup. So salty that it was inedible. Like sea water salty. Three of us sent it back. NY Strip. Boring and clearly hadn't been seasoned before cooking (ironic). Not quite cold but really, really close. A little tiny ramekin of chimichurri sauce which I guess was supposed it make it interesting or tasty I guess. It was neither. The whipped potatoes were delicious. Desert was a borderline interminable wait. And then they served gelato and sorbet to four of us. Think milkshake. A thin, runny milkshake, approaching soup. The food runners and waitress were so embarrassed they couldn't look at us when they dropped the desert and ran. Who lets ice scream, posing as soup out of the kitchen. It used to be a quaint little place with fantastic food ... And now, an overpriced, industrial'ish place with sub-par food (although the owners are clearly cashing out, leaning on its prior reputation). Unfortunate. $85 a head, $1,500 all in with drinks and tip.

The café is located right next to Nancy Ford Photography. It can be a bit difficult to spot due to limited visibility, but parking itself is not an issue. There are shared slanted parking spots in front with neighboring businesses, as well as additional parking available behind the restaurant, which is convenient once you know it is there. The interior is hip, bright, and welcoming. Seating is somewhat limited, but despite that, we were always able to find a place to sit without having to wait. The space feels modern and casual, suitable for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. The food was good overall and service was fast. We ordered the Pancake Board, Spin Art, and a veggie omelette. The Spin Art was my favorite. It was soft, flavorful, and melted in the mouth. The Pancake Board was extremely well executed and fun to share, and the veggie omelette was solid. Coffee, however, was not their strongest item. One nice touch is that water is free and self-serve, which is always appreciated. It can get crowded inside on Saturdays, and since there is no outdoor seating, the moderate ambient noise from other customers makes it less ideal for long conversations or quiet chats. Doug, the owner, was friendly and genuinely eager to help when I had an issue using my $5 off "cupcake points." Although he was not able to resolve it immediately, he did eventually figure it out, so I will be using the coupon on my next visit. Overall, this is a solid local spot with good food, efficient service, and a welcoming vibe. Recommended, especially if you plan ahead for peak weekend hours.
