Was headed out of a wedding in town and wanted an afternoon cup. The ambience inside is great though it is difficult to park outside at the moment. Even though it was afternoon, there was a lot to offer in the case. I wanted a cookie avoiding chocolate, so I did not get a headache. Originally I was told the oatmeal did not have it, but they were wrong. They were quick to get it changed out for me and coffee was great. Main St Cooperstown doesn't have much in terms of specialist coffee brewers. Stagecoach certainly fits the bill. I can't say I'm totally bowled over, but I do come here each time I visit. The staff is super nice, and it's got a cozy homey feel. I've only gotten coffee to go, but I see people hanging out in the back, and I think they have a patio in the backyard. read more

Rolling out the Yelp reviews this July 2023! Stagecoach Coffee is simply the neatest, friendliest, homeliest and most convenient coffee (and sandwiches, soups) purveyor in Cooperstown. The store front is easily accessible and there is a lot of space, period. Space to browse the coffee bags, teas, sandwiches, salads, condiments and t-shirts. There is a place for a line. There are tables (plenty) to sit. Espressos at this place are heart-joltingly strong, punchy and flavorful. The girls knew how to make a double in a split second and their menus are very well lain out. To go with my espresso and a drip of cream, I ordered some Cannoli and they were out of this World! Really, really well made (awesomely well-filled) and delicately drizzled with chocolate chips (see pictures below). I'm no neophyte to the New York City coffee sphere - but I have only just realized this Spring that Stagecoach Coffee is a 'somewhat'-chain. They are a coffee chain that is branching out slowly, but only easing into their new locations; which I believe is really smart: Stagecoach Coffee will not lose that small-town vibe, image, taste, relaxing interior and friendliness this way! Stopped in for our Java hit one morning while on vacation. Soooo many choices! I really wanted to try some of the baked goods but I opted to just get a coffee with almond milk. Since we're on vacation I know a lot of our meals were going to be out and I wanted to try and keep my breakfast a little more clean. The coffee was great! I think technically it was decaf cold brew with almond milk but I'm not 100% sure. I love how it looked when it arrived, the almond milk looking like ribbons through the strong coffee. The good thing is this shop is local friendly by not closing up when the summer is over. It is easily walked to from Main Street. The staff is always extremely friendly despite being busy.The breakfast sausage is absolutely terrible with an odd taste. For the price a better quality ingredients need to be used. Coffee was delicious. They sold their in house beans of their flavored roasted coffee. Their breakfast is another story bland and basic nothing to write home about. We had a breakfast sandwich (basic and bland), yogurt (sugary), bagel and cream cheese and a green smoothie which everything was basic. They have a cute coffee shop but I would stick to coffee and smoothies. Unfortunately we were unable to have their paninis so don't have anything to write about that. read more

BEST LOCAL PLACE FOR COFFEE & BREAKFAST. I stopped at Stagecoach a couple times for my morning coffee while I was visiting for a couple days. The coffee is good and is ready pretty quickly. Like you may have seen in other reviews, be prepared for a slight wait if you order breakfast. I ordered food one day and just coffees the next. I didn't mind the wait for the food but knew to expect that going in. They are very busy in the mornings and most people are ordering coffee and or some kind of menu item so I can understand the wait for a local shop making things to order. The breakfast burrito was good and unique. The bagel and homemade chive cream was also very good. I also really enjoyed my oat milk latte and thought the staff did a wonderful job handling the amount of people that pass through. There's also extra space in the back of the shop and a cute outdoor patio to enjoy your breakfast and drink on a warm day. The recommendations for all the Cooperstown restaurants and shops were a lot to absorb. I came here five times while we were in town...FIVE. I am home now and keep thinking about Stagecoach and wishing we had one here. The espresso drinks are fantastic and the treats are great and the killer kale smoothie was delicious! Try the Coffee-Toffee Caramel Mocha! Hot or iced its fantastic and not too sweet. The coffee cake and the monster cookies were a hit with the kiddos. UPDATE: I visited this morning after my workout and coconut milk was available for my latte. #winning Once again, it was delicious and the barista was extremely pleasant. The pastries were plentiful and looked scrumptious. Wow! This coffee Shop offers the warm and fuzzies. It is large and spacious with plenty of seating. Both coffee and food options are vast. The pastries looked delicious and my guess is the patrons agree because many were sold by 8:45 AM when I visited. There are multiple syrup options for coffee beverages to include gingerbread so I was over the moon at the opportunity to enjoy a gingerbread latte. Unfortunately, coconut milk isn't an option. On a bright note, almond milk is available. The cup sizes are generous and a medium mimics a Grande at Starbucks. This is a great place to chill or get some work done. There is plenty of table seating throughout the venue; however, there's countertop seating at the front of the shop and the views of the Main Street are lovely. I bet it's outstanding in the winter months when the streets are covered with snow. My visit occurred on a rainy day and the rain on the window panes was simply delightful. I needed to finish some time sensitive correspondence so I parked myself near a window. The goodness of my gingerbread latte along with the serene vibe and cozy vibe allowed for more fluid thinking. I'm beyond smitten with this coffee shop and will definitely visit one more time before I return home to South Florida. More important, the baristas were efficient and friendly. We tried this place out since we were in the area for my sons' Cooperstown baseball tournament. Very friendly & patient baristas there who provided great service and gave honest recommendations on drinks and pastries. Which btw, the pastries are AMAZING. It's just a shame we didn't find out about this place until our 4th day there. This place is crazy popular! I've seen lines out the door on numerous occasions. Whether is it employees on Main Street, the local EMS workers with their ambulances parked outside, or tourists for the National Baseball Hall of Fame museum, everyone needs a caffeine fix!! Stagecoach is everyone's go-to. Service is great here. The cashiers are very friendly. I enjoy their "Green Machine" kale smoothies. Their green tea latte is also very good. I like that Stagecoach has paper straws as an option. I think this option does need to be perfected as my straw melted into my drink within 30 minutes. But still glad there's an eco-friendly option. I was given a gift card for this joint and decided to get something I wouldn't normally have time to wait for. I got a smoked salmon bagel. It was so delicious. The salmon with cream cheese, slices of tomatoes, black pepper, red onions, lemon juice and the capers on top. So delicious but took a really long time to make. It took almost 25 minutes for this bagel. I would order it again in a heartbeat because it was so good. I actually did want to buy another one, but because of the amount of time it would take, I didn't. Stagecoach holds a near and dear place in my heart. My school, SUNY Oneonta serves Stagecoach coffee. So since I worked in Cooperstown this summer, I had to get som of the Stagecoach coffee from the source! The fruits in the smoothies, yogurts, honey, breads, and pastries all are sustainably sourced and local. Friendly, warm service on a cold and snowy Friday morning. Stopped in for two latte's and I was immediately greeted and welcomed. A charming establishment that offers a variety of items and according to I believe the owner when I asked what is their busy time, he replied that they are busiest at lunch time. He mentioned their new ordering app had boosted their business. He discussed a few unique attributes about the community and asked where we were staying. I mentioned the Otesaga Resort hotel and he said that his wife was the artisan baker providing bread and some of the desserts. He offered me a coffee card that didn't expire and shared that spending Saturday morning at the farmers market was definitely worthwhile. They start selling their wares at 7 am. Unfortunately, we are leaving early afternoon for home after we visit the National baseball museum. A friend and I took a road trip into Cooperstown to visit Glimmerglass, and I wanted to check Stagecoach off my list after hearing my friend rave about it! I ordered a cold brew iced coffee with extra almond milk and sugar free caramel syrup. They didn't put enough almond milk in it (it's often never enough for me) but it was still delicious! I also ordered the Ultimate sandwich on an everything bagel, which had cream cheese, tomato, avocado, and bacon crumbles. I never would have thought of adding cream cheese to this combo, but it was so creamy and the crispy bacon went perfectly! It could have used a kick- I'm a big spicy food person though so that may just be me. My friend ordered the Usual (cream cheese, tomato, and black pepper) on a bagel, and she loved her meal as well. Grab a cup of coffee and walk down towards the water on a cool crisp fall day. I love this little coffee shop, and think it's the perfect place for this area. Food is very good as well, and not just their pastry options. Large variety of drinks they can make, and very accommodating to different allergies. They have a whole boat load of options when it comes to their "dairy" options, from oat milk to soy, etc. You can modify your drinks in any way you like.
