A friend and I took a road trip into Cooperstown to visit Glimmerglass, and I wanted to check Stagecoach off my list after hearing my friend rave about it! I ordered a cold brew iced coffee with extra almond milk and sugar free caramel syrup. They didn't put enough almond milk in it (it's often never enough for me) but it was still delicious! I also ordered the Ultimate sandwich on an everything bagel, which had cream cheese, tomato, avocado, and bacon crumbles. I never would have thought of adding cream cheese to this combo, but it was so creamy and the crispy bacon went perfectly! It could have used a kick- I'm a big spicy food person though so that may just be me. My friend ordered the Usual (cream cheese, tomato, and black pepper) on a bagel, and she loved her meal as well. The people who worked there were also really nice! We ordered ahead on a Sunday morning and we waited about five minutes. I will definitely be back in the near future. read more

We tried this place out since we were in the area for my sons' Cooperstown baseball tournament. Very friendly & patient baristas there who provided great service and gave honest recommendations on drinks and pastries. Which btw, the pastries are AMAZING. It's just a shame we didn't find out about this place until our 4th day there. We made it our morning stop each remaining day after and if we're ever back in the area again, we will definitely be back to Stagecoach! read more

Grab a cup of coffee and walk down towards the water on a cool crisp fall day. I love this little coffee shop, and think it's the perfect place for this area. Food is very good as well, and not just their pastry options. Large variety of drinks they can make, and very accommodating to different allergies. They have a whole boat load of options when it comes to their "dairy" options, from oat milk to soy, etc. You can modify your drinks in any way you like. Service is pretty fast, even when they are busy. They got a good system going. Tables are available outside in the back, if you choose to stay. read more

Service here was spot on! Food was good I mean I had a toasted beagle. One of the employees was roasting coffee in the back of the establishment which really set the ambiance. read more

Coffee was yummy and came out quick. Also got a BLT which was delish!! Def would recommended

Not bad, coffee is decent. They've got a good selection of sides. Crowded, so food can take a while. I had the tofu and veggie wrap which were nothing special. I enjoyed the marinade for the tofu, kid didn't, a tad too sweet. The peanut butter protein shake was good, but nothing special. Didn't love the apple turnover, but didn't hate it either. Quiche was just fine. read more

Roasted: visited Cooperstown and wanted to check out a local coffee shop. This one is located one block off the main strip right near the baseball hall of fame. Super cute coffee shop in a house. Love the decor - great coffee posters and coffee bags decorate the place making it feel so coffee forward. The coffee roaster is right next to the seating as well which I love. Greta vibe overall. Employee as the register was friendly and we got good service overall. They have a nice selection of sugar free flavors - not just the vanilla and hazelnut you typically find. No for here cups but I expected that with this place being such a tourist area. Everything was great about this place until we got our lattes. The lattes were not good. The milk was super bubbly and lacked the nice creaminess a latte should have. The latte was way too hot - burned my tongue on the first sip. The espresso was sadly burnt and over extracted. Sadly the price you pay - I really wanted a latte I could enjoy and this place just did not hit that mark. Unroasted: love the look of this coffee roaster in a home. Love the way this makes you feel like you are in someone's home. Plant of seating indoors and a great patio on the back. This place gets busy during the tourist season. This place looks and feels perfect for this town. Barista was nice and greeted as walk up up to order. No coffee mug was offered even though we said for here. Waited maybe 4 min for my latte and first impressions I was disappointed. The foam on top looks terrible. No latte art and bubbly foam looks like soap. Now the taste was not better. Espresso shot is burnt and way too hot. This is not the worst I've ever had but this would deter me from coming back. You come here for the atmosphere. Try the pastries instead. read more

Coffee was very good. I ordered a plain bagel with egg and cheese but wasn't impressed.. also half of it fell on the ground because I wasn't aware they sliced it in half for you. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There was no line and staff was friendly enough. read more

We had some delicious iced drinks in the afternoon. My husband had a cold brew and I opted for a dirty iced chai (chai with a shot of espresso). I love that they roast in-house and the space is really cute. We also shared an open-faced bagel with cream cheese, salmon, tomato, onion, and capers, which was really yummy. This is the only real coffee shop I saw in town and I appreciated that it was not a commercial one like Dunkin' or Starbucks. read more

Big City prices with the food to match. Had a California BLT. Avocado was wonderful, Heidelberg bakery bread, all the ingredients were fresh. My little kibbutz is that the bacon tasted precooked. It was tasty but not hot. I also had an excellent coffee and a big fat piece of red velvet cake. Yum. read more

First visit. Excellent almond milk cappuccino, and maybe the best vegan breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The "tofurrito" has spicy tofu, black beans, sweet potato, avocado and tomato. I got mine on an everything bagel, but you can choose whole wheat wrap, wheat toast or English muffin. There are lots of options for breakfast lunch and dinner, sure to please omnis and plant-based eaters alike. Pastries, wraps, panini...an impressive selection. The cafe is immediately welcoming and warm, even in this 7° January morning. read more

First went for coffee in the morning before Museum visit and enjoyed it. This is a great find in Cooperstown and it's really nice to see a good coffeshop downtown. I haven't been to this place in the past, but I've heard they've recently expanded the size of the place and they really do have a lot of space for customers. I have only gotten to try the raspberry croisant and one of the lattes, but they were exceptionally good and they definitely make me want to try a bunch of the other stuff they sell. The staff is also very nice and the decor is good as well. The only downside is that it's expensive, but you are paying for quality. Definitely stop in if you're in town! read more

Manager Chris G. posted a nice note of apology and an offer of a refund. Such follow-up is the sign of an attentive, service-oriented manager, which this customer very much appreciates. We loved their coffee. Even bought bags of it right bring home. They're fast, local, and friendly.

When your child's baseball team has a midnight game, the next day you might want a nice cup of coffee. Stop by Stagecoach Coffee for a wide selection of drinks and food. My "super brew" and breakfast sandwich was great, but what I really loved was how friendly the owners were. While Chris was roasting a batch of beans, he explained the whole process to my family and even made an impromptu display of how the beans look after various stages of roasting. If you find yourself in Cooperstown, I recommend stopping by. read more

For a breakfast or lunch that nothing less than GREAT Stagecoach is the answer. Better coffee can't be found . Great food, atmosphere and service all frame the Stagecoach experience. It's not on Main Street, but just a bit off the main drag and well-worth the find. Louise Kavanagh read more

Awesome awesome awesome coffee. Go here every morning while I'm in town and love it every day. I've had some of their crafted coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos and they are average. But something about the coffee (especially iced) is incredible. Food is good too, not amazing but definitely a contender in this small town. I'm from Long Island, so the bagel wasn't as great as I'm used to, but still pretty good. Today I got the egg, bacon & cheddar sandwich on wheat toast which was awesome!! The bacon was chopped up in the eggs which was a lot nicer than the slices. Definitely recommend a breakfast sandwich if you're going at that time! Lastly, their cookies are soooo good. I recommend the oatmeal raisin, it's incredible!! One of the best cookies I've ever had, I love how you can taste the oatmeal and the raisins are still so chewy. Probably my favorite thing here are the homemade cookies!! read more

We decided to stop at Cooperstown on our way back home to a Massachusetts. This seemed like a cute little coffee ship and so I decided to give it a try. I entered the coffee ship and I could see the menu. They had arrows for people to follow and place orders. They mandated wearing a mask (which is a good thing). As I walked following the arrows to order my drink, I saw that they had ice cream as well. The ordering experience was okay. I was waiting for a few minutes before one of the baristas called me to place the order. There were two employees by the ice cream area that is on the way to place the order but they didn't point me to where to go or anything at all. I got the medium coffee toffee. I got it iced and with decaf espresso. The order was considerably fast and the same barista told me where to pick it up. They need to certainly have better signs on where to place the order and pick it up. Many of the customers and the staff were also staring at me (it's not unusual in some smaller towns for me, barely bothers me anymore) but not in a rude way. The interiors and the exteriors were fine. Nothing too extravagant, but not unsubstantial. It was spacious and was typical of a coffee shop for a small town. The coffee drink (coffee toffee) was fine. It was a caramel mocha. The mocha flavor was rich but it had too much of the caramel in it and was cloyingly sweet. The medium size was about $5.85 and it was too much for this in my opinion. Definitely go here if you want a quick coffee for a hot day and you are visiting this town. I would probably stick to a non-overpriced version of the basic black coffee or americano. My rating for coffee shops is going to be: 50% for the drink, 30% for the service and 20% for the everything else. Coffee: 3 stars @ 50% = 1.50 Service: 3 stars @ 30% = 0.90 Ambience, interior, etc.: 3 stars @ 20% = 0.6 Average = 3 stars read more

Seeing other folks reviews for this place just knew that we had to arrive somewhat early. That we did. Just a little after 9:30 on a weekday and the line wasn't all that bad yet. Situated on a side street right off of Main seems to be a very popular place for the locals. Stopped in for breakfast before our long journey home. Both of us had the house blend coffees. Very strong and good. It was such a nice morning that we proceeded to their cosy little outdoor patio outback. Wifey went with the high energy Irish oatmeal. Topped with crasins, raisins, almonds & banana. I in turn had the Ultimate. A choice of bagel (onion for me) toasted accompanied with cream cheese, sliced tomato, avocado, bacon & sprouts. This is no tiny little breakfast sandwich. Couldn't put it together had to go half at a time. Large would definitely be an understatement. Charming little place. By the time that we left lines were out the front door. Timing apparently is everything. Enjoy. read more

The place is in downtown Cooperstown, not too far from the Baseball Hall of Fame. We had sandwiches and a latte. The bread was very crusty and the fresh side salad was the star along with a delicious balsamic dressing. The downer was the turmeric ginger honey latte. I didn't realize that there was no coffee in the drink (it said latte!) but the real offense was the amount of turmeric that was added. It was so much that I choked on my first sip, couldn't taste any other flavors (not ginger or honey) and when we emptied the cup there was still a layer of turmeric at the bottom. I'd go back but I definitely wouldn't get that latte. read more

Stopped in and got a Iced Matcha Latte with a House Panini with the mozzarella, pesto and tomato. I never leave reviews but felt the need. I was very disappointed with my sandwich. To be honest I've had very similar paninis at other places and they are great and worth the money. This on the other hand was very cold, the cheese wasn't even melted, and there was also barely any taste. Starbucks has one similar and it tastes a lot better than this and it's warm. I'd rather support smaller shops rather than big corporate chains but I just think it could be better :/ - Matcha Latte on the other hand tasted fine, that's what gave this the two stars. read more

When you want a great cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich in a delightful setting, this is the place to go!

Decent breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Fun, lively atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good wifi. Nice patio. All around a good place!

Friendly staff-good coffee. Bought some packaged chocolate candy but it was stale and not good -and was $6. Reason for less than 4 stars

The lady who took our order, Erin, was unfriendly - didn't say hello or give a smile and didn't know pricing of their baked goods. We ordered a s'mores latte, french toast latte, 2 frozen hot chocolates, strawberry banana smoothie, chocolate chip cookie, a slice of the apple spice loaf, and a slice of banana bread. ALL the drinks were super bland. The s'mores and the French toast latte tasted EXACTLY the same, so we're pretty sure we didn't even get the s'mores latte. Not sure how this place is rated 4 stars - it was awful. read more
