Roasted: visited Cooperstown and wanted to check out a local coffee shop. This one is located one block off the main strip right near the baseball hall of fame. Super cute coffee shop in a house. Love the decor - great coffee posters and coffee bags decorate the place making it feel so coffee forward. The coffee roaster is right next to the seating as well which I love. Greta vibe overall. Employee as the register was friendly and we got good service overall. They have a nice selection of sugar free flavors - not just the vanilla and hazelnut you typically find. No for here cups but I expected that with this place being such a tourist area. Everything was great about this place until we got our lattes. The lattes were not good. The milk was super bubbly and lacked the nice creaminess a latte should have. The latte was way too hot - burned my tongue on the first sip. The espresso was sadly burnt and over extracted. Sadly the price you pay - I really wanted a latte I could enjoy and this place just did not hit that mark. Unroasted: love the look of this coffee roaster in a home. Love the way this makes you feel like you are in someone's home. Plant of seating indoors and a great patio on the back. This place gets busy during the tourist season. This place looks and feels perfect for this town. Barista was nice and greeted as walk up up to order. No coffee mug was offered even though we said for here. Waited maybe 4 min for my latte and first impressions I was disappointed. The foam on top looks terrible. No latte art and bubbly foam looks like soap. Now the taste was not better. Espresso shot is burnt and way too hot. This is not the worst I've ever had but this would deter me from coming back. You come here for the atmosphere. Try the pastries instead. read more

Big City prices with the food to match. Had a California BLT. Avocado was wonderful, Heidelberg bakery bread, all the ingredients were fresh. My little kibbutz is that the bacon tasted precooked. This is a great find in Cooperstown and it's really nice to see a good coffeshop downtown. I haven't been to this place in the past, but I've heard they've recently expanded the size of the place and they really do have a lot of space for customers. I have only gotten to try the raspberry croisant and one of the lattes, but they were exceptionally good and they definitely make me want to try a bunch of the other stuff they sell. The staff is also very nice and the decor is good as well. The only downside is that it's expensive, but you are paying for quality. Definitely stop in if you're in town! read more

Stopped in and got a Iced Matcha Latte with a House Panini with the mozzarella, pesto and tomato. I never leave reviews but felt the need. I was very disappointed with my sandwich. To be honest I've had very similar paninis at other places and they are great and worth the money. This on the other hand was very cold, the cheese wasn't even melted, and there was also barely any taste. Starbucks has one similar and it tastes a lot better than this and it's warm. I'd rather support smaller shops rather than big corporate chains but I just think it could be better :/ - Matcha Latte on the other hand tasted fine, that's what gave this the two stars. read more

Awesome awesome awesome coffee. Go here every morning while I'm in town and love it every day. I've had some of their crafted coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos and they are average. But something about the coffee (especially iced) is incredible. Food is good too, not amazing but definitely a contender in this small town. I'm from Long Island, so the bagel wasn't as great as I'm used to, but still pretty good. Today I got the egg, bacon & cheddar sandwich on wheat toast which was awesome!! The bacon was chopped up in the eggs which was a lot nicer than the slices. Definitely recommend a breakfast sandwich if you're going at that time! Lastly, their cookies are soooo good. I recommend the oatmeal raisin, it's incredible!! One of the best cookies I've ever had, I love how you can taste the oatmeal and the raisins are still so chewy. The lady who took our order, Erin, was unfriendly - didn't say hello or give a smile and didn't know pricing of their baked goods. We ordered a s'mores latte, french toast latte, 2 frozen hot chocolates, strawberry banana smoothie, chocolate chip cookie, a slice of the apple spice loaf, and a slice of banana bread. ALL the drinks were super bland. The s'mores and the French toast latte tasted EXACTLY the same, so we're pretty sure we didn't even get the s'mores latte. Seeing other folks reviews for this place just knew that we had to arrive somewhat early. That we did. Just a little after 9:30 on a weekday and the line wasn't all that bad yet. Situated on a side street right off of Main seems to be a very popular place for the locals. Stopped in for breakfast before our long journey home. Both of us had the house blend coffees. Very strong and good. It was such a nice morning that we proceeded to their cosy little outdoor patio outback. Wifey went with the high energy Irish oatmeal. Topped with crasins, raisins, almonds & banana. I in turn had the Ultimate. A choice of bagel (onion for me) toasted accompanied with cream cheese, sliced tomato, avocado, bacon & sprouts. This is no tiny little breakfast sandwich. Couldn't put it together had to go half at a time. Large would definitely be an understatement. Charming little place. We decided to stop at Cooperstown on our way back home to a Massachusetts. This seemed like a cute little coffee ship and so I decided to give it a try. I entered the coffee ship and I could see the menu. They had arrows for people to follow and place orders. They mandated wearing a mask (which is a good thing). As I walked following the arrows to order my drink, I saw that they had ice cream as well. The ordering experience was okay. I was waiting for a few minutes before one of the baristas called me to place the order. There were two employees by the ice cream area that is on the way to place the order but they didn't point me to where to go or anything at all. I got the medium coffee toffee. I got it iced and with decaf espresso. The order was considerably fast and the same barista told me where to pick it up. They need to certainly have better signs on where to place the order and pick it up. Many of the customers and the staff were also staring at me (it's not unusual in some smaller towns for me, barely bothers me anymore) but not in a rude way. The interiors and the exteriors were fine. Nothing too extravagant, but not unsubstantial. It was spacious and was typical of a coffee shop for a small town. The coffee drink (coffee toffee) was fine. It was a caramel mocha. The mocha flavor was rich but it had too much of the caramel in it and was cloyingly sweet. The medium size was about $5.85 and it was too much for this in my opinion. Definitely go here if you want a quick coffee for a hot day and you are visiting this town. I would probably stick to a non-overpriced version of the basic black coffee or americano. My rating for coffee shops is going to be: 50% for the drink, 30% for the service and 20% for the everything else. It seemed wildly popular but it was only good not great. I did find the app which enabled take out to make things quite convenient.

The place is in downtown Cooperstown, not too far from the Baseball Hall of Fame. We had sandwiches and a latte. The bread was very crusty and the fresh side salad was the star along with a delicious balsamic dressing. The downer was the turmeric ginger honey latte. I didn't realize that there was no coffee in the drink (it said latte!) but the real offense was the amount of turmeric that was added. It was so much that I choked on my first sip, couldn't taste any other flavors (not ginger or honey) and when we emptied the cup there was still a layer of turmeric at the bottom. I'd go back but I definitely wouldn't get that latte. read more

The food was excellent. We went on a rainy day, too late for eggs, as they go to lunch promptly. At first we were disappointed, but they even had quiche and puff egg pastries, which satisfied a few in our party. We found a table in the corner, where they were roasting their coffee. Great place for casual bite to eat. I came upon this place around 11 on a busy Saturday. There was already a line out the door!!!! . Anyways based on the yelp reviews and the level of hunger from my friends and I, we decided to stick it out. The only con I had about this place is that the menu overhead was all their drinks. They have a good menu but it's on little laminated sheets of paper while you wait in line. And there were only two of them to look at. I wish they had the food menu in multiples so that you could get a few minutes with it if you're waiting in line already instead of hastily making your choice few minutes before you get to place your order. I got a basic egg cheese and bacon bagel sandwich. It was just ok. My boyfriend ordered the ultimate without sprouts. NOW the ULTIMATE is what you HAVE to get here. Like wow. My tastebuds were blown away. Such a creative flavor profile. I was in heaven. Compared to my basic bagel sandwich.... the ultimate is the showstopper. As you read this I am reminiscing how it tasted and how good it was. Sigh. They have indoor and outdoor seating. While it was too chilly when I went, the outdoor seating looks quaint just like the town it's in. They have an immense collection of coffee drinks/tea. Facilities were clean.
