My friends and I stopped by Panera for a quick bite on our way home from camp. For my meal, I got 1/2 chicken pesto ciabatta dipper, 1/2 farmhouse crunch salad, and they got me with the add on of asiago croissant twists (2) for $1 more. My total was about $13-$14 which was okay considering the amount of food, but the discounts definitely helped. The wait was about 10 minutes and in the meantime I went to the bathroom. They were clean, but a stall was missing to let paper so we told a staff member. I am not sure if there was an eat in option on the app, but my order came in to go packaging which was a lot of waste. The sandwich was warm. The chicken tasted good and wasn't dry. It came with a variety of cheeses, and the pesto sauce tasted like basil and mayo and helped to moisten it all. The bread was toasted to perfection. I do wish it came with the option to add lettuce and tomato or bacon. It was smaller than I thought it would be (~4 inches) but still filling. The farmhouse salad was good despite not having meat. The sweet potato and candied almonds made it heavily sweet, but the other toppings balanced it out: nutty - roasted pumpkin seeds, fresh - cucumber and tomato, and creamy -avocado and parmesan cheese. The dressing was good and I appreciate that they put it on the side. The asiago croissant twists were very cheesy, soft on the inside and buttery, with a crispy outside. The dipping sauce it came with tasted like tomato soup. It was good. The tropical green smoothie did not taste natural at all and instead tasted a lot like their papaya green tea drink with a hint of some other fruits. They had indoor seating but also about eight tables outside. Since it was nice out, we ate outside under the shade. There was lots of parking since it was in a plaza.
