every time i've passed by coffee planet in the past it has been closed, so i was pleased to finally get to try their drinks. the space is quite small but cute. it would probably be hard to get a table at peak hours. the baristas were really friendly and patient as we decided what to order. i ended up getting a cherry vanilla iced green tea (special) which was lightly sweet and very refreshing. my friend got the raspberry coffee cake latte. i am not much of a coffee drinker, but the raspberry flavor was very nice and not overwhelming. my friend said it was the best coffee they've had in a very long time. their specialty beverages are very creative and seem quite high quality. i will likely be back to try their food; i wish their tea offerings were slightly more comprehensive.

Love coffee planet! There's so many reasons you'll frequently see a line out the door and sometimes for hours. Their bagels are fresh, their cream cheeses are unique, large variety of beverages and just all around a friendly environment. Love the asiago bagels, sundried tomato cream cheese, honey siriacha cream cheese, bacon jam, and olive pimento cream cheese to name a few! The employees are happy to serve and the owner, Kim, is always there working hard. If you haven't been you need to go!

I've been here twice so far and will definitely be going back again! I had their almond joyful latte with oat milk, and a bacon egg and cheese on a garlic bagel! Delicious! The staff were extremely friendly and quick to get my food and drink out! A super cute and casual place to grab a great cup of coffee to start the day!

Best coffee house in town Awesome breakfast sandwiches, do not make changes or substitutions. Trust me. The staff knows how to officiate culinary marriage magic. Try their suggestions as is, because you will be pleasantly surprised how good they are and that goes for their coffee brews too. The ambient purple haze walls with staffs tongue in cheek sense of humor will make you want to stop here every time you're near by. Phenomenal place.

Finally made it to Coffee Planet! I was surprised at how large it is inside. We only stopped by for coffee but I think I'll head back there to try one of their specialty sandwiches and/or bagels. There are tons of beverage choices/concoctions...I was momentarily overwhelmed. I had an iced Mex-mocha, which is very tasty...basically a mocha with a little cinnamon to kick it up a notch. I like that they have alternative milk options, so I had mine with almond milk. Soy, oat and skim are also available. Solid reviews on the chai latte. Friendly service. The back room was pretty busy and it seemed like all of the tables were occupied. Loud music gave the whole place a very festive vibe.

Got a Caramel Latte and a White Mocha Latte-both needed more syrup/flavoring. Not great espresso flavor at all. Lots of seating and friendly staff. Street Parking.

I like this place. I came for great coffee & an egg sandwich. I got exactly what I wanted. It was served up by a friendly staff that worked quickly. We showed up on a warm, sunny Saturday morning. By the time we arrived, there were several people already on line for breakfast. I decided not to be put off by the line. I was right, because it moved quickly. I ordered an iced latte. They didn't have almond milk. So I had it with whole milk and it was delish. My egg sandwich was simple. Not greasy and not a fast food production. If you want fancy, they can do that, too. My husband had the breakfast special. I forget what it was, but he thought it was great. After getting orders, finding a free table was easy. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. It's casual eatery with a nice, neighborhood family-friendly vibe. I look forward to coming back.

Built my own breakfast sandwich on a poppyseed bagel. I did egg, bacon, tomato, jalapeño, and veggie cream cheese! YUM.

This is my favorite quick spot for breakfast. The bagels are amazing (as well as all of the different sandwiches you can make out of them.) The coffee is always delicious and there are so many fu. Syrup flavors to add! Honestly, my favorite aspect of this awesome cafe is how friendly and nice the staff are! It's always super busy here, and yet the staff remain smiling and happy! It instantly makes my morning happier! Love it here.

The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is they NEED to get veggie sausage. Lol I ask every time. Bagels are amazing. Coffee is awesome. Service is fantastic. It's clean and cozy in there. I go just about every weekend. Get some veggie sausage and I'll give you 5 stars :)

We arrived right when they opened at 10 a.m. and were seated immediately, which was great. We initially considered sitting inside, but the smell of eggs was so overwhelming/nauseating that we opted for outdoor seating instead. The patio was charming and cozy. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. We all ordered the brunch tower, which included a "fruit salad" that consisted of squishy grapes, sour Granny Smith apple chunks, and canned mandarin oranges. The fruit tasted low quality and unappetizing, and I only managed a few bites. I also ordered the bananas foster crepe, which was severely overcooked. The crepe was so tough that I needed a knife to cut through it, and the texture was far from what I would expect from a crepe. Overall, while the service was pleasant and seating was prompt, the food quality left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price point.

Great flavor and great texture; and, I appreciate that they use organic ingredients. I actually wouldn't eat there if they didn't. The bagels are honestly amazing. They are the only bagels I will eat because they are organic sourdough (it's the only non-gf I'll eat). They are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, just how a bagel should be! Whenever I've ordered a bagel and cream cheese (which is more than a dozen times), they've always been very generous with the cream cheese, which I appreciate! They've also got more than just bread. They sell some local gifts and things: flowers, crocheted items, little crafts, chocolates, etc. Their cookies are soooooooo delicious. We always get at least one to enjoy after we eat our bagels. :-) There is a small sandwich menu (no hot items though - like no hot egg sandwiches, just egg salad). They also serve hot coffee! One tip: Go early. They often sell out of bagels and treats, especially on the weekends! It's just a really solid spot with really good food! Definitely worth checking out! We drive 25 minutes just to enjoy their bagels, bread, and treats!!

Hands down greatest cinnamon roll in the capital region! There was still a good selection of items later in the day and the cinnamon rolls easily held up until the next day. They reheat wonderfully! I just wish that they had a few more as they were all occupied. It is a beautiful thing to have homemade pastry! I ordered the cinnamon bun, the eclair, the ham and Swiss roll, and the spanakopita turnover. Everything was delicious! My favorite thing was the eclair! It was by far the best declare that I've ever had in my life! And I just have to brag on it a little bit because the cream inside has real vanilla bean in it! It's not only real cream, but it's made with real vanilla bean! You can both taste it and see it in the cream once you bite into the eclair. This was just pure perfection. The least favorite thing that I had was the ham and Swiss roll. My only complaint about it really was that it was a little dry because it needed more Swiss cheese inside. It was still beautiful and flaky with a everything bagel seasoning on top and the ham was also good. Unfortunately, there was just no discernible cheese. So I missed that gooey melty center that I was looking for. I also ordered a chai latte, which they also sell as a iced latte option. It was super hot and tasted lovely! I told the girl at the register that this was my first time, she welcomed me, she answered all my questions and was super nice and accommodating. They ask you if your order is for here or to go and they offered to heat up your pastry for you either way if you were going to be eating it immediately. I thought this was a super kind and intuitive Service! See this is why I just love supporting local businesses. Many of the ones around here are top-notch and I would much rather support them than big conglomerates, monopolies and chains that don't care about their customers or quality products, they just care about profit. If you love, good pastry, then please come check out Leah's!
