Holy hell this is by far the worst restaurant I've even been to in my life! They are so incredibly rude. I don't get why these people are allowed to work here? I've been here 4 times since it's on my way home from work and all 4 times I had to try to communicate with a Spanish guy or girl who both don't understand what your saying at all. Like how are you going about to be taking orders but don't know how to speak English??? They all look like they want to kill themselves or you and will gladly take the anger out. It is unlikely you would ever catch me at a McDonald's, or at their drive through, or sneaking their food behind a corner. Why am I reviewing them then? My brother asked me to go through their drive through after we left the brewery last night. There was no one ahead of us, he just wanted fries. He ordered two large fries through the speaker. I pulled up to the next window to pay. The girl told me to go to "2". I saw a sign with a 2 on it. I pulled up and waited. I could see inside of this McDonald's, it was completely empty. No one was behind me or in front of me. I waited for 12 long minutes, for some fries from McDonald's. I think in McDonald's time that is eternity. I remember in the 90s their moto was "if it's not ready in 60 seconds it's free!" Just as I decided I wasn't going to spend any more time waiting, a young man came to my window with a bag of fries. Now, I haven't had these fries in a long, long time, I'll be honest I only had a few for the purposes of this review. These fries were pretty terrible, they were incredibly oily, you could taste the grease with each bite. They were also far too salty. My brother claimed they weren't salty enough. To each their own. McDonald's or their fries just aren't for me. read more

This McDonalds is so awful I cannot even comprehend how horrible the staff is at this location. The only 2 people that speak any English there are so incredibly rude EVERY TIME. Swearing at me, talking on the phone at the drive through, and they steal credit card info it's happened to me 4 times with different cards at this location I had to start using cash. The food is somehow also HORRIFIC, AND I LOVE McDonald's! It boggles me how they could mess up something so simple. Stopped in July 4th around 9pm and received the worst service. Had to drive to the best one in South Windsor.

Stopped by for a quick snack break. First appearance: Location was visibly busy indoors and through the drive thru! Landscaping was well kept and no trash was found on the floor. No obstruction of the entrances. Parking lot is well designed! Interior: The location is spotless! Clean as can be! There are well staffed for the busy hour. Tables had minor crumbs but majority were wiped off. Cashier: I was greeted by a cashier and with professionalism, she asked me what I would like to order. She was efficient and did not rush me. She, however, forgot my cup for my drink. Wait: I waited 15 minutes for my food which was appropriate for the traffic level. However, four people who ordered full meals before me received their meals before I did. It seemed as if they were working the individuals who were visibly upset or working on sandwiches first. Conclusion: I gave this location a 4 out of 5 because although they were busy, they did a great job with managing. However, there were minor things that should or should not have been done such as skipping orders, forgetting cups, etc. read more

I'm lovin' the Incompetence. Yet another wrong order delivered the mobile ordering in the drive thru. Unfortunately this is the only fast food near my home and the next closest is about 15 minutes away. You have to open every sandwich wrapper to ensure you get the right food. I have given this location chance after chance to prove it can improve. Unfortunately, they seem to mess something up almost every visit. I'm not one to normally write reviews on chains unless there is something particularly noteworthy to share positive or negative. Unfortunately, this one is negative. While being easily the most convenient McDonalds (or any fast food restaurant really) in my commute to work in the morning (right off 91 on exit 37...super easy on and off), I will be staying away after multiple second chances... Actually used to be a reliable place, but drive-thru lines have gotten long, order taking confused, and they always seem to get one part of my order wrong...Particularly the iced coffee which they often forget to sweeten...I'm usually back on 91 by the time I notice the problem and too late to fix...Argh! So...if you do decide to come, be prepared to wait longer, repeat your order to an annoyed order taker and double check that order before you leave. Otherwise, a great McDonalds :) read more

Ever since I discovered you could customize egg McMuffins (remove cheese and butter, add tomato slices and extra egg and/or bacon) I have made this my inexpensive, go-to breakfast. Ditto the oatmeal - I hold the cream and add extra fruit. The point beyond this is, for the most part the eggs are nicely cooked -not overdone or rubbery- and often better than the eggs I get in power breakfast venues. read more

Extremely busy rude staff. We went to the drive thru on a Saturday. We thought it was odd that a couple of cars in front of us left without getting their order. When you pull up to the speaker, wait, wait, and wait longer. When nobody answers after 10 minutes, we pull up to the window. The woman, supposedly a manager, tells us that they were switching shifts and that they couldn't take orders at that time . We ask her if they are taking orders now, and she says yes. I might sound stupid for posting this but I've never gone to any McDonald's that consistently has poor service and terrible food. Either the order is wrong or they purposely try to do a half a** job. When I order a double cheeseburger...I want 2 slices of cheese. When I order sweet tea, I don't want overly strong ice tea that has sugar added it at the last minute. When I order fries...don't include the weird aftertaste. I don't special order when I go here so it shouldn't be that difficult. Oh and please don't let me ever see them outside picketing for $15/hr.
