Great service! Fun selections! Tasty drinks and goodies! The Smoky S'mores Latte is a fun option for creeping into the fall weather, and a solid Iced Matcha. I especially appreciate the creative house-made marshmallow whipped cream. This specific location doesn't have the best seating, so we ended up taking our drinks to go instead of relaxing while we sip our drinks. Also, with such a cool vibe, it'd be cool to see their syrups house-made as well...instead of the typical Torani syrups.
Stopped here on the way to the airport before fly in my back to Austin for a quick caffeine hit. Loved that they were already leaning hard into Halloween with their overall vibe and drink specials. I just got an Americano which was very solid. However my mom's campfire latte really stole the show. I'm not usually one for overly sugary coffee drinks, but this one hit the mark with that toasted marshmallow flavor. Also the service was very kind and very patient, especially with my dad who isn't used to ordering coffee from places outside of Dunkin'
Waking into Perkatory, my senses were immediately overwhelmed with the spicy, yet cinnamon-y, sweet aroma of something brewing in the air! Whatever it was, I wanted it!! This delicious smelling drink happened to be a Chai, which I've never had. This sweet black tea, mixed with spices and milk was very yummy. Service was great and the baristas were friendly. The artwork is different at every location and unique in its own way. It's nice to take time out of the day to just be! No obligations, just a hot cup of coffee (or tea) and good conversation. A self care day calls for a Chai after a massage next door at the Serenity Massage & Wellness Center!
Had a great time trying Perkatory for the first time! I went to their southington location and was immediately greeted by the staff, they're so lovely! I ordered myself a blueberry strawberry matcha (homemade syrup) and I was slightly underwhelmed by it. I felt like the fruit flavors weren't coming through as much as I'd hope but that's okay! I also got their summer tea special (blanking on the name) but it was hibiscus tea with coconut mango lemonade and i thought this drink was incredibly fun and creative! I thought it had a really nice taste. I also got their chocolate chip cookie which was massive and so yummy!
Solid coffee, okay pastries Quick review because this was a random pit stop on my travels. Place is funky but cool, very hipster. The coffee is strong but the cookie I got was hard. It's a great place for a drink, but the bakery leaves something to be desired.
This was such a fun shop! The decor is dark punk, emo skeleton! The baristas were kind and helpful when choosing. I ultimately went with a coconut sea salt cold brew (recommended by the barista) and a chocolate sea salt cookie. The coffee flavor wasn't on the menu but handcrafted by the barista! It was delicious. The cookie was great too but just hard, I prefer a soft chewy cookie. I wish they had a little more seating because a lot of people were just standing.
Perkatory Coffee has 5 locations and offers free US shipping for orders over $75. This is the second location I've been to and I really love their brand. I'm a fan of spooky vibes, Halloween, skulls, and all things punk rock; this coffee shop showcases it in their decor and ambiance. They roast the coffee beans and have bags and merchandise to purchase in the shop. There were some seats inside, I'm sure it can get full during peak hours. This location was in a convenient location in a plaza with ample parking. When I went, there were a couple of people ahead of me. This gave me some time to look at their menu and specials. The customer service was friendly. I decided to get a medium iced blueberry pie latte; it tasted like blueberry and it was the perfect level of sweetness and blueberries. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Overall, definitely up there with one of my favorite coffee shops in CT.
The latte that I had was fantastic. I love that they have some in-house sauces and syrups for me to choose from. I got a lavender mocha latte that was perfect. Great branding, I loved everything about it. Great friendly service, very conversational. They even partner with local artists to do a lot of their art and shirts!
#2 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES Definitely a grab and go coffee shop since they didn't have any dine in tables. The interior is pretty small but they have some cool designs and merch. For drinks, they have all your classics along with some seasonal items. I decided to get the butterbeer latte and unfortunately, the espresso was shy of burntness. Other than that, it was good, not overly sweet. The service also wasn't anything exceptional. The two girls didn't greet me and continued to talk until I was ready to order. Overall, pretty lackluster, I wouldn't go back.
This coffee spot came highly recommended. It has a really cool ambiance, the coffee was flavorful. The staff was very friendly and was helpful when order a decaf coffee (sometimes hard to find in coffee shops). I spent about one hour here working in the lobby on my laptop. It's a small place but very cozy.
Fun atmosphere with a unique theme. Consistently well made drinks. Servers are always super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
Great coffee, even better service. Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay too long, but the place looks like an awesome area to sit and enjoy the brew.
I didn't know until today that Perkatory were in WeHa. I had told my boxing coach I needed a coffee after our earlier morning session and had mentioned driving down to Middletown because I wanted the Harry Potter drinks and he was like, why not go to the one a quarter of a mile down the road? So I did. Parking is a bit limited, but luckily I was able to snag a spot and head inside. It was a short 5 min wait to order and then another 5 mins til I got my coffee. Overall I'm giving 4/5 stars because I didn't really get what I ordered. The chocolate frog drink: good but needed a bit more flavor, and I had ordered it with whipped cream, so 7/10. The golden snitch, while it had good flavor, didn't have the edible glitter in it as advertised and I wouldn't have spent over $5 on it if I had known it wasn't coming with the glitter. Taste wise, 10/10. Overall experience with it, 0/10. (I take my double glitter seriously). The butter was delish but needed just a bit more butterscotch and whipped cream. 9 3/4 rating / 10.

I love the vibe in this café, and I can't believe it's taken me so long to finally visit a Perkatory location. The staff was so nice and friendly, and we even laughed for a bit which was refreshing. I'm a sucker for seasonal or specialty drinks so the chocolate covered cherry latte immediately caught my eye. I got a large iced with regular milk. I can appreciate all of their different milk variations! The pistachio milk was suggested for me to try, but as a big hater of dates, I had to skip it. The latte was rich and a good quality coffee, so the drink went down very smooth. The maraschino cherries on top were a nice touch too. I love the punk rock feel, and will definitely be visiting more frequently. read more

Came back here because I was around the area. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast empanada. Coffee is still very good but I wouldn't get the empanada next time. read more

Their coffee is roasted perfectly! Such good flavors and smooth, creamy lattes. I wish I lived closer to come more often! read more
Perkatory has become one of my favorite coffee shops around. The vibe is so caffeinated punk (in the best way possible) that you'll find yourself wanting to hang around way after your coffee is ready. A robust blend of flavors, balanced with a first sip that immediately brings you back to life, make Perkatory a home run! read more
Really cool coffee shop. This is a small and quirky spot. Has outdoor and some inside seating but is definitely more of a grab and go place. Staff was great and the coffee and pastries are delicious. Will definitely come by here again! read more
It seemed like a good morning to visit Gastropark because the Small State Provision folks are back from vacation and selling their beautiful sourdough, cookies, scones, etc. right next to Perkatory. Also, Hot Taco Street Kitchen was there with some breakfast offerings. They seem to be there on a semi-regular basis for breakfast starting around 8 am, but check the schedule to be sure. I love to bundle visits. Perkatory just switched their seasonal Cold Brew to a dark roast Colombian. I'm not the biggest dark roast fan, but this one really hit me. It tasted like the high quality cocoa that tops some of the best tiramisu. Seriously - good stuff. Let me the pull the lever here. Ding! Five Star Upgrade! read more
I love Gastro Park, particularly on sunny days where it's pleasant to sit outside. I also love Perkatory Coffee, which is located at Gastro Park. It was a rainy day, so I couldn't enjoy my coffee outside as I'd normally prefer to do. Inside is pretty cool with all wood interior. The chairs aren't the comfiest, if you had to spend some time here. I've been to probably all locations of Perkatory Coffee, they make really tasty coffee, including the West Hartford location where I was today. Unfortunately it was pretty bad today. I got the Peppermint White Mocha, that they had advertised. It was super, super sweet, undrinkable sweet. All I could taste was 50 spoons of sugar. I know this was a fluke today, as I've always had delighfuly delicious coffee at Perkatory. So I'll give them 4 stars, one off for today's unfortunate case of Peppermint White Mocha. It did have a wonderful foamy texture. Their cappuccino that I had a few days ago was perfection! read more

Lately I've been mentally checking for if Perkatory is open if I'm heading to this side of the river. It's because I've been consistently craving their coffee. Once I tried Perkatory Roasters at Gastropark, I knew I needed to come back and get more. They are truly my caffeine dealers (as the sign outside states). My go to coffee is an iced latte with sugar free vanilla, mocha, and oat milk. I can trust that everything is high quality in their handcraft artisan roasted coffee. For non-coffee options, I really enjoyed the dragon berry sparkler at the west hartford location only, and the hibiscus berry iced tea. I'll walk out of here with multiple drinks in hand as a result. With monthly specials to look forward to (which spread across all their locations) I'll always have something new to try! I love the punk rock vibe and art of the Perkatory brand. The staff is also friendly and accommodating. My dad usually likes his drip coffee in a very specific way and they were able to meet his needs. When I forgot my coffee order at one point they were able to help me remember it always going forward. I'll keep looking for more excuses to get Perkatory coffee! read more

Yoooooo, this is THE PLACE for insanely amazing coffee. I also dig the vibe, style and logo for the company. Everything I've had here- lattes, cold brews, chai teas, specialty drinks- has been super delicious. Their most recent drink- the cold brew one with the blackberry foam- is what made me think "You should drop that place a review." It is out of this world good. I actually crave it. Besides the fact that the drinks are the shiiiiit, the baristas at the West Hartford one are so freaking nice, too. Shout out to the dude that's always there and always in a good mood, and the woman who is usually on shift with him- they are super kind...a great duo. The only downside is that it is not the cheapest coffee, but then again, all speciality coffee isn't, and you truly get what you pay for here. It's worth it. The tip jars are also fun and funny. In short: This place is just what that area of WH needed. read more

my favorite local coffee shop! Their coffees are delicious, cold brew isn't too acidic, their espresso is great. They have so many options for flavors and are always coming up with their own signature flavors for holidays and seasons which is super fun! service is AMAZING!!!!! all baristas are fantastic! There isn't much for food selection but they have some pastries and bagels as well! The inside doesn't have much seating, there's a couple tables and a few barstools, i would love to see them expand this location! read more
My favorite coffee shop opens at my favorite local hangout spot - a match made in heaven! So psyched to see Perk is open inside The Gastropark now! There is seating inside if you wanted to keep that coffee shop vibe and get some work done or meet a friend for coffee. They have short hours, as most coffee shops do, but an iced latte was the perfect ending to an afternoon of drinks and food. On weekends, they are open until 4 which is perfect for that midday pick-me-up after you've binged on food truck grub. Almost the same menu as all the other locations and staff is just as friendly! You can never go wrong with ordering one of their monthly specials. Maybe one day they will do coffee cocktails with the bar nextdoor! ;) A VERY welcomed addition to WeHa! read more
Located inside the GastroPark, this little coffee shop's vibe is punk rock and skateboarding meets Halloween, but all year round. It truly has a unique and funky vibe, which is just the cherry on top. Their espresso hits the spot, smooth with a subtle hint of chocolate. Their iced latte with oat milk is my go-to, but they offer monthly specials, which are definitely worth trying. I highly recommend the Pumpkin King; it has pumpkin spice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and is topped with a maple drizzle. The baristas here are super friendly and chill. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Hands down the best coffee shop in West Hartford. read more
Great place for coffee! Came here after seeing posts on Instagram and the unique flavors that were offered. The West Hartford location is inside Gastro Park. I ordered the smoked cherry mocha latte from the winter seasonal menu. It was smooth and had just the right amount of sweetness. The price came out to around $7 for the large size with oat milk which is a bit pricey but normal for specialty coffee drinks. The drink came out pretty fast and the service as great! read more

This is my go to coffee shop in the area! They have a great selection and rotating specials. I'm a fan of the cold brew, they have all type of milk as well as a many different Torani flavors which can be added to your coffee. The shop itself is small but offers plenty of seating at a bar-top table as well as a couple of normal tables. The staff is always very friendly and helpful with any questions one may have about their coffee! read more
