Came here as a part of the Hartford coffee crawl. I Ordered an iced coffee , chocolate chip cookie and a fruit salad . Fruit salad was a little disappointing only came with strawberries ,honeydew melon and mint . Coffee was good but They did run out of cream so I had to get my coffee black. Staff were friendly. Service was fast and prices are fair. Cool atmosphere.

So happy for the BOP getting their beautiful space! Right in the heart of South Windsor and a block from the train station. I tried the dirty orange juice with espresso, orange juice, and sweet cream. The espresso definitely hits you and I wish there was a bit more sweet cream but it was really good! I could see myself sitting outside and sipping in nice weather. The salted caramel cheesecake was AMAZING! I need about 16 of those ASAP. Excited for Jack and the team!

I finally stopped by Bop Cafe and it's easily my new favorite neighborhood spot. If you're tired of cramped coffee shops where you're practically sitting in the next person's lap, you will love how spacious this place is. It has such a welcoming vibe and plenty of seating options. The Standouts: * Cinnamon Bun Latte: Hands down the best specialty latte I've had in a long time. It actually tastes like a fresh cinnamon roll without being overly sugary. * Bacon, Egg, and Cheese: A classic done right. High-quality ingredients and served perfectly hot. * The Service: The staff here is so kind and genuine. You can tell they actually care about your experience, which makes a huge difference. Whether you're looking to get some work done or just want a solid breakfast sandwich, this is the place. I'll definitely be back!

Loved this local neighborhood coffee shop! Windsor needed this spot! My husband and I will be regulars here!

"Nothing you could say could tear me away from my guy…read moreNothing you could do, 'cause I'm stuck like glue to my guy" (Mary Wells) We took a morning coffee break, and had a wonderful time chatting, relaxing, sipping our drinks, and enjoying the friendly, mellow, and very chill atmosphere at the Café by New England Coffee Guy. They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. So the next time we're looking for a midday break or afternoon pick-me-up..... I know a guy!

I got a fluffernutter iced latte. It was so good! Not too sweet either! The baristas were some of the nicest people ever! We chatted about the weather and this winter while they whipped up my drink. There's limited seating inside- just one table which was unfortunately occupied. They have a lot of outdoor seating which will be wonderful now that the weather is warming up. Apparently the back part of the building is an antique shop! I didn't get to check that out as I was heading to work! The building is super adorable, plenty of parking, and a beautiful outdoor seating area! Highly recommend!

The antique store/coffee shop offers the best of both worlds for those whose ideal day is getting a coffee and going antiquing - there are tables in the back, among the antiques, where you can chat, lounge, and read a good book. The antiques are all at good prices, and there are also charms all around the store, for those into charms/trinkets! The staff was so kind and relaxed - even under pressure! The coffee beans lining the wall made the store smell like coffee, and the antiques around you made you feel like you were in your New England grandmother's kitchen, waiting for a perfect cup of coffee. The specials were so inventive and clever, with gorgeous art to showcase their inspirations - I had the peanut butter cappuccino, but there were SO MANY other ones I cannot wait to try! Make sure to stop in and enjoy this absolute paradise!

Still really new, but good coffee…read more Been on the hunt for new coffee shops. This one popped up on yelp so I decided to muse my trek and try them. Outside is decorated well, and with it close to the lake and the park its got lots of alternative seating options around. Inside is a little sparse on seating and decoration. It's very much a brand new location just getting itself set up. It's got a little of the macabre themes but it's light and open. So it's basic but has a little character. The got a house blend with a snickers latte. No coffee cups just to-go. Took my pics and began the trek home. The coffee was very hot when I got it. They brew their drip coffee in large brewing stands so it's a very hot brewing method. Lose a lot of the subtle flavor notes that way, but as it cooled down I was able to get the bright and mid notes. It's a strong roasted flavor mid with a little of the bright fruity notes on top. With better temp control, would probably get more of the fruit notes. Good coffee, just limited by the technique. The snickers latte was surprisingly pleasant. It had a decent amount of sugar but the roasted peanut flavor combined with the roasted coffee flavor notes really played well against each other. It really helped cut through the caramel sweetness and led to a nice sweet dessert like sip. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the lead brewer was happy to talk about their beans and process. They were busy though, so couldn't get all the details. But they know their beans and their roast. Price is actually kinda low for the quality. Not upset about that, but I suspect that they may raise prices as time goes on to match other coffee shops. They do make their own bakery items but the selection is limited. The cookie I had was a solid oatmeal raisin but wasn't unique or different. Just a well executed oatmeal raisin. As a coffee shop, it's still figuring itself out. Once it gets its character and refines its brew then it stands to be a strong coffee shop for the area. For now, it's great but basic.

It's a painting, an arts and craft, a bakery, and a coffee shop. Great place for friends to get together and spend quality time, with great refreshment. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, both with the food service and the arts. What a gem to have on Main Street.

Surprisingly good food in a pottery painting place…read more Been meaning to review this place for a while. Each time I'd go in, see no one around, then left. This last attempt, there was a bunch of staff around so I got the full experience. The staff were very friendly and informative. They explained the pottery painting side of things to anyone painting a piece. They had a wealth of knowledge in that regard, explaining how to get the best results for each medium. I wasn't here for the pottery, I was here for the food. So they sat at a 4 top and let me go up to the cafe to order. The menu is basic, egg sandwiches, avocado toast, French toast, coffees and lattes. Some fresh baked pastries available but mostly simple dishes. I opted for their French toast latte and an egg sandwiches with bacon. Also got a cinnamon roll that was baked that morning. Food came out after a few minutes. Not speedy but not slow. Took some pics and dug in. There's a fundamental rule that I follow when reviewing. "The flavors on the description need to match the flavors of the dish." There's sandwich did this exemplary. The garlic aoli had a strong but slightly acidic bite to it, which helped the arugula's bitterness. The egg was fluffy, the tomato grilled and salted, and the bacon perfectly crispy. The soft home made bread was almost too soft, compressing down to nothing after each bite. If anything, the bread could've been grilled to give it a bit more structure. But besides that gripe, it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The latte, that's what took the star off. The coffee is giv beans, so a good quality product. The problem was it was extremely, overbearingly bitter. With a French toast latte, you'd expect the sweet to counteract the bitter. But nope, the sweet came from the cold foam and the concentrated coffee at the base led to straight sips of cringingly bitter coffee. After mixing the cold foam into the coffee, it became more bearable. But the damage was done by that point, and my pallet was shot. Had to dump most of the coffee. Overall, it's a neat place to go to. It's rare to have activities along with good food, and the staff there make the experience great. Not too much a fan of the specialty coffee, but the food is well worth the price. A solid food choice for Main Street.
