Very cute local coffee shop making tasty drinks and food! We often drive by to visit my parents and one morning decided to place an online order to pick up as we drove by. Since it was a busy morning the online order feature is super handy to save time but if you have time, the atmosphere in the cafe is inviting and love how they serve drinks and food on real dinnerware (coffee tastes better in a ceramic mug than cardboard cup wouldn't you say?). Everything was delicious and can see myself stopping for a flavored latte again some time. Bonus! They sell cute gifts and other (local?) items from stationary to kitchen accessories and handmade jewelry. Wish I had more time to look through the items but my wallet thanks me haha. read more

Popped in for the first time today, coffee drinks were amazing, staff super friendly, food is on point. Ham and cheese croissant, really flaky, buttery and delicious. The Whammy- oh my , what a masterpiece, the bread on this is so crispy, crunchy, the eggs/sauces melded well together! It's a two handed for sure! Avocado toast- thanks for leaving off the seeds for me!!! (Have an issue with them). The sourdough was toasted perfectly, great flavor on the rest . Went to The B Hive on a Friday morning for breakfast before getting on the road for a weekend away! Everything was so good and very fresh! And the staff is awesome and very welcoming! I love the decor and bright colors! They also sell the cutest little items! The Apple cider was really good and my boyfriend's ice coffee was great! He loves it quality coffee as the stuff from Dunkin and Starbucks gives him heart burn! This coffee doesn't do that to him! So The B Hive is added to our list and we will be back! read more

The B.Hive just opened late April in Burlington, CT. It's a lovely cafe with plenty of seating inside when we went. They had a case of goodies such as cookies and pastries. There were plenty of canned and bottled drinks to choose from as well and some merchandise for sale. I love the decor inside with the dried flowers and honeycomb. Parking was plentiful when we went too. The service was great, I had to try their U.Bee matcha latte and a few chocolate chip cookies. The U.Bee matcha latte has ube, matcha, and bee propolis on it. It's such a pretty and tasty drink, I definitely tasted the ube; love the purple and green, so aesthetically pleasing. Can you tell I'm a fan of ube and matcha? The cookies were decadent. Stumbled upon this place and I'm glad I did! I had the Ube Matcha Latte and it was SO good. It reminded me of fruity pebbles somehow, but I'm not mad about it. Only knocked a star off because it was quite expensive, but I would go back if I'm in the area again! Stumbled upon this coffee shop. Ordered an ice coffee along with a sausage/egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Just shy of $18. Egg and cheese is $8.00, add sausage for $3.00, total $11 plus tax for a microwave egg on a hamburger bun. 20 oz ice coffee was $5.50 though I asked for less ice, the cup was full and left me about 3 sips of coffee. It's a neat looking place inside but very pricey for what you get. read more

On our way to go vintage shopping, we stumbled upon the cutest little coffee shop--and we're so glad we did! The decor is top-notch, perfectly themed and full of charm. It was definitely busy when we arrived, but that didn't stop the staff from being incredibly friendly and helpful. They guided us through the menu and helped us decide on lattes--and you could truly taste the love in every sip. We also tried the avocado toast, and it was simply amazing. Very cute spot. They just opened so it's a bit of a wait. 50 minutes if you're at the door in line. Large iced mocha was good, though $7.50 ($8 after tax) felt a steep for the amount of ice it had. Didn't like the hot as much, hoping that they improve their chocolate for the hot mocha option. Mini muffins were $3 each. My kids enjoyed them. Hope they have great success! Update April 17th- prices have increased since soft opening. Some items and drinks $1.00 more. Wait it still 20+mins when forth person in line. read more

My husband and I both got an iced coffee with vanilla cold foam and The Whammy breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious and the service was great. The Whammy sandwich was especially tasty, 12/10. This place is expensive, however, and priced higher than other great spots in surrounding towns that offer similarly delicious sandwiches. We will definitely be back but unfortunately because of the prices, we would probably choose somewhere else more regularly. read more

I don't really write reviews, but wanted to counter some negativity that was not at all my experience. I come pretty often and have never felt judged for bringing my 4yo. Even when she is running around the middle table flapping her arms and pretending to be a bird. Coffee program is one of the strongest in the area. Can be a little slow sometimes, but you can't really make an espresso machine go any faster. read more

I've been here a few times already. I'm a big fan of having oat milk as the non-dairy option! Also as a vegetarian, I appreciate the impossible meat for a breakfast sandwich. Cute place. Way bigger than I was expecting. A little too expensive for the area. The kitchen closes before the place does but the place isn't even open that long....The vibe was off and the staff seemed kinda like we were bothering them....no like hey have you been here before etc etc. we live in town so expected a little more introduction because it's kind of new. Also they only had oat milk for alternative milks. No cashew or coconut or almond milk which was kinda surprising. The poor reviews you'll see are due to the following: 1. Longer wait times during their "just open" season. Stephanie and her team care about quality. They want to make sure your food or drink come out not just consistent, but consistently good. If you can't handle longer wait times, don't visit a place that opened just that month. The B. Hive has since found their groove and continue to push out quality products and service. 2. High prices: The B. Hive roasts their own coffee... If you care about good, quality coffee and food with high quality ingredients you go here. If you want a cheap cup, go find a cheap quality place. If you've spent your life drinking cheap Joe, this may be a fun treat for you. 3. "New age music": This one made me laugh, but also frustrated me that someone would review someone poorly because their tastes don't align. If you don't like the atmosphere of a location because you're older of have different tastes, don't give the place a bad review because it caters to other people's interests. Family of four $80+ with both food & drinks. I wouldn't say it's particularly family friendly. Doesn't cater to children; things are not to be touched, some side eye looks, & vibes were more adult-friendly. An incredible addition to Burlington. Quaint and has a really neat vibe. As you'd expect from a boutique-style coffee shop, everything (drinks, sandwiches, etc.) is made to order and tastes amazing. The coffee bar area is wide open, and you can see how much effort the staff puts into getting orders right. Owners also are friendly - they regularly come around asking people how everything was. 10/10 place. read more

Best coffee, hands down!! Ask for their Expresso Blend (Sumatra, Columbia, Peru). Soooo tasty and smooth. The service is stellar and James, the owner, couldn't be a nicer person.
