A great little chocolate shop in the middle of a random shopping plaza. Little pricy, but tasty chocolates I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with some chocolates. Since I was in the area, I remembered this little chocolates shop and decided to revisit them. I've been here before and really enjoyed the chocolates and the soft serve I got here. It cost a bit, but the quality was very high. I came in during a cold night and picked up a bunch of their coconut chocolate confectionaries. I won all the boyfriend points that night, and there's still a good chunk of the chocolates left to try. If you're in the mood for high-end chocolate, you'll be hard pressed to find any better around. Worth a try!

Divine Treasures is exactly that....divine. They offer a variety of handcrafted chocolate, soft serve and sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, brownies, to-go pints, frozen food options, and cheese. The entire establishment is vegan gluten free so lifestyles and allergies alike will benefit from a visit. They have plenty of parking since they are in a large place. They are a little pricey, but I've loved everything I've ordered. This is a must stop if you are in the Manchester area. @thesidedishers

I can't believe we such a gem in good old Manchester! Stopped in to grab an assortment of chocolates as a birthday gift. My gf is still slowly enjoying every bite! Unfortunately I couldn't get better pictures but here is what remains as she still works though it. She also really loved the sugar free chocolates like the fig or cranberry based chocolates! Definitely gonna go back!

I've been hearing about Divine Treasures for quite some time, and despite meaning to go there for years, I never made it until recently. I first heard of this place I would guess around 6 years ago, and I've thought of it numerous times in that timeframe, but I just never went. I'd only been to Manchester once, at least 11 years ago, and never had any other reason to go back. Recently agreed to meet someone as a sort of a first date in the area, and the first and only place that came to mind was Divine Treasures.  We had planned to sit and eat lunch and then grab some chocolates and baked goods to go. I didn't realize there is no seating. Whoopsies. It's sort of like the baker I went into countless times as a child, lots of delicious treats, so seating. No big deal. Then I learned the only lunch/dinner type food they offer is frozen, to be reheated later. So "lunch" was out. But I didn't mind! Technically it was my breakfast, as I had eaten nothing that day. And a breakfast/lunch (brunch?) of chocolates didn't sound too bad to me. I ordered one each of a bunch of random chocolates and also picked up a....raspberry brownie?...if memory serves me correctly. The date was a dud, save for the fact that she ordered a soft-serve ice cream cone and for some unknown red flag reason took a couple bites and decided not to finish it. So she extended her arm out the window and told me she was going to wait for a seagull to swoop down and grab it. When I realized she was serious, I told her to hand it over so I could finish the ice cream. Which was a wise choice because the ice cream was great! I was under the impression Divine Treasures is 100% vegan, but when I was scoping out some of their chocolates, some of them were labeled "Vegan" and others were not, so it left me a bit unsure. This place wasn't quite what I was expecting, but every morsel of food I got there was EXCELLENT! I would definitely drive the 40 minutes to go to Divine Treasures again.

There's a well know ice cream shop in my neck of the woods who gave me an uncharacteristically smarmy and cold response when I asked them if they made sugar free ice cream. Well, that isn't the case at Divine Treasures, whose entire store offers healthier ice cream and chocolates made with no refined sugar, no corn syrup, no cholesterol, no trans-fats and contain only vegan and gluten-free ingredients. When you walk into the store at Manchester's Parkade shopping center, you'll see big showcases filled with chocolates on three sides. The right side was full of sugar free chocolates that looked amazing. I had a tough time picking out what I wanted (they are $30+/per pound), so I decided on seven big beauties for $14. They are pretty well sized, so I can savor one a day and not gobble them all at one sitting. DT has reinvited ice cream with an unbelievable soft serve product. I'm no health nut, but their vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free soft serve was terrific. They use whole nuts as the base, and I have to say my peanut butter-chocolate swirl was delicious. It cost $4.95 for a small cup. If you enjoy chocolate and ice cream, but have dietary restrictions, you'll enjoy your treasure hunting experience at Divine Treasures.

This outstanding shop, Divine Treasures, not only has delectable chocolates, it has a wide array of dairy free gluten free premade foods. The dairy free ice cream is excellent too. We highly recommend this shop for anyone not just those who have dietary restrictions. What a Godsend though for those with dairy issues since that restriction is the hardest to accommodate. My daughter is eager to get her dairy free ice cream birthday cake from Divine Treasures.

This is where they manufacture all of their delightful chocolates and distribute them across all Munson's stores. The inside is filled with all sorts of truffles, barks, raisin covered chocolates. They had a whole line of chocolate lovers waiting their turn. Once it was my turn, the young man behind the counter asked what I would like and in what size box. I got mostly dark chocolate covered raisins and just a few truffles. Everything is sold by weight. For fancy, premium, locally owned chocolate this is very appropriately priced. I had the opportunity to visit their Bolton location located on Route 6 (after a visit to the Ren faire). Bolton may not be their original location from the 1940s, but its the store situated next to their factory that sources all chocolate to their other locations. The outside of the store is BEAUTIFUL and big. You can't miss it when you drive by. I promise. I know because I've driven by it like 10x over the last 15 years and just never pulled the trigger. Well I'm I finally did. The inside of that store is also BEAUTIFUL, modern and immaculate. The chocolate options behind the glass displays and in other sections to the left and right give you overwhelming amount to choose from. My daughter and I literally spent an 45 min - 1 hr in the store just to decide what we wanted for a take home treat. They work with UCONN so they have some UCONN themed or packaged products (Storrs campus is just 25 min down the street). They have packages for that special someone and other themed wraps/baskets. To get the most bang for our buck we ended up going with the "leftover" bags which were broken pieces of various chocolates during the production. Beat decision as it allowed us to try different chocolates. They even have a wall on right when walking where you read about their history with a digital sign. You HAVE to visit this location, you wont regret it. Some of the best chocolate I've had from a local chocolate shop.

Sure, you have, for a school PTO initiative, or in support of a kid's scout troop or marching band or Little League team, am I right? A few years ago, I bought a frozen pie from a co-worker and planned to put it out on our Thanksgiving dessert table. Well, that didn't work out because I forgot to take it out of the freeze! But even if I remembered to do that, I still would have been a "Fail" because that pie was uncooked and needed to be popped in the oven for 45 minutes. I totally missed that little nugget of instructions. Which finally brings me to Granny's Pie Factory in East Hartford. You don't need a master's degree in cryptology to surmise that Granny's Pie Factory sells pies, but what you might not expect is that they sell a large variety of fresh and frozen pies that are FULLY COOKED. Their website boasts 53 varieties of fully finished fruit and creme pies, either fresh or frozen. They come in a variety of sizes - 6 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch. We picked up a frozen 10-inch Strawberry Rhubarb pie ($19). It was massive and seemed to weigh as much as a bowling ball. It clocked in at 2 pounds and eleven ounces. We sawed it in half and put it in our freezer for eventual use of one half a pie at a time. It is fully cooked and only needs to be thawed out to be enjoyed. No doubt we will enjoy it!

What I had never done before was order online abd go to the store to pickup until last night. Well...it was a cluster f&$k!!!!! I ordered online Saturday evening around 7:30 because we are going somewhere Sunday and they are closed. I waited about 1/2,hour and headed to the store. I not a notification on my phone to "checkin" when I arrived so I parked and checked in from my phone. As I approached the store I was surprised to see a very long line inside of people waiting. But I ordered online a while ago so I won't have to wait, right? WRONG! This is not like Jersey Mikes (or most other food places) where you order online and they start making your food. Apparently at Crumbl, you don't get a spot in line until you checkin! So I had to wait some 20 minutes for 6 cookies I ordered 45 minutes ago. HORRIBLE! Defeats ordering ahead !! They need a radio button in APP: 1. Prepare now or 2. I want them fresh prepare when I checkin. Mine were for next day so whether they boxed them at 7:30 (and had them ready!) or 8:00 when I arrived makes no difference as they're for next day. End of world? NO! But customer experience? You have an awesome APP and "fun" is what you're about - you should have takeout orders ready no one wants to wait!! They did make an announcement when I arrived that they fell behind due to current special. The line moved well but I didn't like that customers who ordered right before I walked in were ahead of me in line even though I ordered 30 minutes ago (and paid!). Great, fun cookies in a cool atmosphere however. EDIT: I got a nice note from the store. But they miss the point. It doesn't matter what the customer wants they are obsessed with "fresh boxing" (even if customer wants them for next day and temp doesn't matter). They showed me during this visit they can't come close to keeping up when they're busy, so be prepared to wait. "We do it our way screw how that inconveniences our customers". All I suggested was an option - box now or wait til I get to the store. Keep everyone happy!!
