"Sweeter than wine Softer than the summer night Everything I want, I have Whenever I hold you tight This magic moment" (The Drifters) Walking into Moneta Moments surely is a magic moment- the sweet aroma of freshly baked goodies is incredible. Veronica and Diane's bakery operates on a "preorder" model, so their cookies, cupcakes, cream puffs, cake pops, scones and cannolis should be preordered by the dozen. Much of their business revolves around absolutely gorgeous made to order customized wedding and special occasion cakes and pies. They have close to thirty different cake flavors across the entire spectrum of yumminess. Here's the scoop on the flavor groups: "Classics" that include Chocolate, Vanilla, Red Velvet, and more. A "Fun & Delicious" line that includes among others Tangy Pink Lemonade, Pineapple Crush, Zesty Limeade, Maple Pancake, and Cinnamon Maple Four "Kids Favorites" of Sweet S'more, Cookie Dough Core, Cotton Candy, and Dreamsicle And some very intriguing booze flavors "For Adults" of Espresso Pubcake (made with Guiness beer), Rum & Coke, Lime Margarita, and Tequila Sunrise. On Friday and Saturday, they may have some cupcakes and cannolis for individual sale, so after a few text messages, I arranged to swing by and get 2 of each. While inside the store, I saw dozens of freshly baked cupcakes awaiting their custom "to order" icings, and two freshly baked stunning special occasion cakes awaiting pickup. We bought two chocolate chip cannolis, a chocolate cupcake, and a vanilla cupcake. We just finished scarfing down the cannolis. They were amazing! The filling wasn't super sweet, the chocolate chips were plentiful, and the shell was crispy and crunchy. A definite A+ of a cannoli. We will exercise some will power and share the cupcakes for tomorrow, but no doubt they will be equally stellar. If you EVER need a special occasion cake or a custom cupcake order, go check out their website, make a visit to Windsor, and say hello to Veronica and Diane, and make a Magic Moment of your own. You will not regret a thing! read more

I had the opportunity to stop by Moneta and I'm so happy I did. I was actually at the coffee shop next door, while sitting multiple people walked past carrying perfectly wrapped cupcakes. Unfortunately when we arrived just as expected the selection was slim. The options left I took them. They even had a Harry Potter cupcake. The owner and her daughters were amazing. If you are in the area or not you should stop by. The bonus is they are completely nut free! The atmosphere is very cute and quaint. read more

Delicious Rainbow cookie and canoli! The browines are amazing and Diane was the sweetest!

I've been looking for an Olive Oil cake for a while until I was finally recommended this bakery! While it wasn't on the menu, they had no issue making one for me. The process was easy, and they were SUPER accommodating with timing and pickup, not to mention so sweet. The fact that they are nut & peanut-free is AMAZING. First baked good I could confidently bring along to dinner and not be looking out that everyone had their epipens! The cake was beautiful and so tasty. Light, fluffy, even better than expected. I CANNOT recommend this bakery enough - will be ordering here for every upcoming holiday! read more

Birthday Cake Bliss! I ordered a birthday cake for my wife last minute, and Moneta's was able to not only to save the day, but to also create a wonderful cake which my wife absolutely loved. The cake was dense, fresh, and flavorful. My wife wanted vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, and the cake was so good, that she was reluctant to share the leftovers. We were all very pleased and can't wait to treat ourselves to some more deliciousness from Moneta Moments in the future. Thank you Thank you! read more

Bought these for a bridal shower. Ordered over the phone because I live in another state and was coming in town after business hours. The cupcakes look homemade and not professional. When I received the pics from my friend who picked them up I was extremely disappointed. I could've made out way better with grocery store cupcakes. I would've never taken these if I picked them up myself. Never again! read more

I had heard great things about this bakery, so I immediately contacted them to find out if they could make a goat cake for my goat-obsessed daughter's birthday. Veronica, one of the owners, told me they had never made a goat cake before, but found some pictures of a cake and cupcakes to show me. I ordered both and they came out amazing! The cake was marble with chocolate buttercream frosting. The cupcakes were cookie dough core, which is chocolate cake with a ball of cookie dough baked into the center, with buttercream frosting. OMG, they both tasted amazing. My daughter was so surprised and thrilled with her adorable goats, and they were a big hit with the party guests, too. I will absolutely use this bakery again. They are great to work with, incredibly nice, and amazingly talented bakers! read more

This bakery is exceptional! They were able to squeeze in my order as our plans changed and was okay with them keeping it as simple as possible since they were doing me a favor. I wanted to update my review after Moneta Moments made the desserts for my wedding. From the first meeting, they were a pleasure to work with - both of the ladies are extremely friendly and will work with your vision to make exactly what you imagine. The price was also very reasonable. For our wedding, we ordered a small cake to cut, as well as cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries. We were able to choose different flavors for the cupcakes - which gave our guests options. They even put color coded fondant bows on each and every cupcake to differentiate the flavors with a 'coded menu' so guests knew what flavor they were choosing! Each one was delicious (even the leftovers were good days later)! Moneta Moments did a great job delivering everything and setting up the dessert table - the cupcake stand they provided was tiered so it gave the vision of a tiered wedding cake - it was perfect! I would certainly recommend them for a wedding or any other event when you need delicious desserts! I also want to add that they will make desserts other than cakes/cupcakes if you have something else in mind! read more

Such an amazing place. Everything is so delicious. You would never know they were nut free. I love the cannolis

I am new to Windsor so I was researching local spots to get Valentine's Day treats. I didn't realize that due to COVID restrictions the bakery is only open for pick up, so I drove over and tried to get in. The sweetest woman answered the door and explained about pick ups-only, but offered to create a box of a half dozen cupcakes (which is what I actually came to order) for me to bring to my 94 yr old Gramma. She was so kind and compassionate that I became overly emotional because I lost my Grampa a few weeks ago, and was trying to make my Gramma smile. It warms my heart to have had such a wonderful interaction. Also the cupcakes were beautiful and delicious!! My Gram was very happy, and I have found a great business to make future purchases. Thank you for being a lovely human. read more

OMG...are you kiddin me? The cupcakes are to die for! Moist, heavy, flavorful and they smell sooooo good. The price is right, the people are super nice, the kids are well behaved and cute as heck, and a great location. Why are you still reading this and not driving there to get a four pack or 3??? read more

Best cupcakes in the Northeast, hands down. She has made the perfect recipe for icing and the cake is always delectable. I've never had a bad or dry one and I've been here many times to pick up cupcakes for work. No matter how bad the day is, these cupcakes have saved us from total meltdowns. I highly recommend these ladies! read more

I have been looking for a true peanut free bakery for a while. I found this bakery and brought my children there today. My daughter has a severe peanut allergy The bakery was super cute and the owners are so nice and understanding. We bought four cupcakes. They were so delicious! I emailed the owner on my husband's birthday to see if we could pick up some cupcakes. I let her know I could not have dairy because my infant is allergic and I'm breastfeeding and my husband is also allergic to chocolate. I received a response very quickly and was told these allergies were no issue. When my sons and I came to pick up our treats, I was so impressed with the adorable shop and friendliness of the owners. When we tore into those cupcakes later that night after dinner, we were all pleasantly surprised that they were just as tasty as they were beautiful. When we were there, they mentioned they were making some banana whoopie pies for a wedding. I said if they had any leftovers, I would gladly buy them. I received an email the next day and drove right over to buy those whoopie pies! My husband and son loved those as well. The level of customer service was astounding and the quality of the treats we bought were great. With all this in mind, you would expect their prices to be outrageous but that was a pleasant surprise as well. They are VERY reasonable. We will most definitely be going again for our next celebration. read more

I used to go to a home bakery up until I found Moneta Moments! I am a HUGE cupcake fan. I have traveled the East Coast so far and eat cupcakes wherever I go. Nothing is as good as this place. Absolutely terrific taste in any cupcake I order. My favorite are chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I get their cupcakes for any event I am having or have them make me a delicious cake, which they have. They are courteous, professional and just as sweet as these wonderful cupcakes! They deserve more than 5 stars! read more
