Throughout the years my husband has drug me into this store. Over the years, I guess you could say it has finally grown on me. I find myself staying in here longer and longer each time. My favorite section is Dyson. I love looking at all the new gadgets. I already have my eyes on an in-room purifier for Christmas. I saw my husband's eyes light up and I was like oh no, I knew this visit was about to get longer. He took me over to their e-bike section. Which I didn't even know they sold those here. Our associate was Roosevelt and oh boy were we lucky to have met him. He was so helpful with getting the bikes out, letting us test them, was extremely knowledgeable and had a fun sense of humor. Best Buy is one of my favorite stores, the selection is amazing and they have a little bit of everything. They have even had collectors legos where they have been sold out elsewhere. Our experience tonight was worth writing about. We had prompt service, while we were looking for a home security camera. They even helped us find a package that made the cameras much more reasonable. They were so good in fact, we broke down and bought two e-bikes from. Overall (5/5): they had a good selection of items in stock and were prompt to help us. Customer Service (5/5): Roosevelt was amazing, we appreciated him helping us with the e-bikes and selecting the right ones for us. They did such a great job helping us load them into the car. Store Layout (5/5): the store is verge well kept and organized. Store membership (3/5): This is the only drawback, you know have to pay-to-play to get the maximum benefits. Even if you spend a lot in store they no longer have the generous Best Buy elites that helped with extended returns and bonus dollars seem harder to earn. Whether you're looking for a new appliance or a new TV, Best Buy is definitely a go to for us. read more

Walked into Best Buy today to look at the Meta Ray-Bans and the Meta Oakley's to do some research for I later purchase. I ended up convincing myself to buy the Meta Oakley HSTN on the spot instead. I spoke with the Meta Sales Rep. Jonah, and he was able to answer my questions about his experience with the meta Ray-Ban Gen. 2 which he was wearing, and comparisons between the Ray-Ban's and the Oakley HSTN and the Vanguard glasses. You can test out the feel for the Ray-Ban Gen 2 and the Oakley Vanguards in the store the video and picture capture is as promised, clean and crisp. Also bought the two year warranty. Why is it that every time I call the phone number it goes to a call center? Who by the way, most of the people at the call center can't seem to understand what it is I'm saying and I have to keep repeating myself. Why can't I just speak to a normal person anymore? What ever happened to good ole customer service? You know, just calling the store and speaking to salesman/woman? It's like pulling teeth to get help. Do not under any circumstance purchase from Best Buy in general. The return policy is absolutely horrendous. You have 14 days to make a return. If you are a busy professional this makes it almost impossible to even test something within 14 days of purchase yet alone find the time to go back to a busy shopping center and make a return. I literally cannot think of another company that I have purchased anything from that has a 14 day return policy especially on an unopened and documented (receipt) return. I will NEVER purchase another product from Best Buy again. In the last 6 months I purchased a 100" TV, an expensive amplifier and a Sonos Port. I needed to return the Port but it was well after the 14 day policy. I wasn't even offered an in store credit. I will make sure that anyone and everyone I know will know about my experience. Please DO NOT PURCHASE from Best Buy. The only way they will ever change their policy is if we all stop buying product from them. Let me start out by saying that I purchased a new LG 85" TV through the site and came out to the San Tan store for an issue with the included accessories. I met with Joe Baca in Home Theatre and he was patient and professional when hearing us out and he quickly went to work to fix it. Deb Witz, the stores Experience Manager came by and asked what she could do to help. She was fantastic. We found a solution and they both did everything to make it right. I received a call from Grace with Customer Service and she was amazing. A few days later I even got a follow up text from Joe who just wanted to check in to make sure everything was made right, and it was. I will DEFINATELY do business with them again. Was hoping to leave with a laptop and had planned on using Affirm for the payment plan. Guy comes over to assist and asks me what my budget is, I tell him I wanted to stay under a grand. He then shows me laptops I'm not a fan of and after taxes and such, the totals would have fallen over the bracket of my budget. When I let him know I was using Affirm to pay for the laptop, his face changes and he gives me some BS about he can't process the payment if I'm using that, and he may not get a commission. I said to him, well that's not cool. I normally carry a small amount of cash for tipping in the event I run into these types of circumstances, since I don't have an issue tipping, especially since they took the time out to help me. He goes and asks one of the other guys and confirms he won't get a commission and apologies and disappears. So not only was he offering me something within my budget, he runs off because of the lack of commission he would be getting but missed out on a nice tip. Good going guys. Had a positive experience at this Best Buy when visiting for the first time last week. It's been some time since I've been in a Best Buy and I appreciated the space and the organization of the merchandise. I was looking at laptops and picked one up to see how heavy it was, which triggered an alarm. That was a bit embarrassing as everyone in the area turned to me and there wasn't an employee in sight to help turn off the alarm so it drove customers crazy for a good 10 minutes before an employee finally came over. Just left and the service from the management down is absolute garbage. There was one guy who tried to be helpful but was corrected by his manager. Long story short after a tone of wasted time they won't consistently honor the warranty they sell. Regardless of what they have said in the past or what I showed them in my purchase history. I talked with 2 "managers" and one of them just got mad and started escalating. This is why brink and mortar places like Best Buy are struggling. My fairly new Apple laptop decided to stop working a few days ago and I went to Best Buy to try to get some advice and possibly get it fixed. The level of disrespect I received from the staff members was actually shocking, and it wasn't even the right information. The device simply needed a reset/update and they were trying to force me into a situation where I'd be spending hundreds and not have access to my laptop for weeks. I bought a fridge for our new built home. The fridge arrived a few days later. However I came to realize that Best Buy uses a third party delivery company which came in to install the fridge and damaged my new floor in the process. The guys left the house in a hurry and by the time we realized (not a minute after) they were gone. I called Best Buy only to tell me that they did not have a phone number for that company, only an email address and that I, the customer that spent well over a $1000 on the fridge would have to contact them. So much for customer service. I emailed the people and about 3 days later I get a reply and the guy asked if I wanted like $400 so I could fix it. I said no, I want you guys to fix it since you damaged it and was sure $400 would not fix the damage. He hired some guy and did a horrible job and half assed it. I then been calling Best Buy for over a year now even asking for their corporate number and no result.. This is what the floor in front of fridge looks like in our Brand New built home.. I have had issues with Best Buy in past but this is a new low... I def would not recommend anyone to buy from them. I'm even considering taking this to court as now my new house looks like trash on this part. read more

If you're ordering an Apple laptop, order direct through Apple, not Best Buy. Ordered Sunday evening online and the order showed in the app it was placed Monday Dec 1st and said it would be ready for pickup Saturday Dec 6th. Kept checking the app which never showed any update. Called Saturday Dec 6th to check on status and sat on hold for 45 min just to be told it would be "ordered the next day". Best Buy never placed the order after 6 days from placing the initial order. Two days later on Monday Dec 8th after calling customer service they sent an email stating that if the laptop doesn't show by Dec 20th I can ask for a refund?!?! If you are in need of a laptop can't stress enough "DO NOT ORDER THROUGH BEST BUY" Customer service has gone down hill both phone and in person. For Apple products order direct from Apple as Best Buy is un-reliable and has horrible customer experience and support! They don't even deserve one star!!! read more

Evening from one P-off yelper!! GRRRR..... If you have read my earlier reviews I have been moving and so far everyone has been amazing from my movers- MODERN MOVES to my cleaners- ELITE MAIDS and the property mgmt MOSAIC. My neighbors are sweet and my age SHOUT OUT TO ELLIE, I have been invited to play cards and one neighbor even offered to make lunch for my moving team! Did I choose the right place or what!? :) TONIGHT I was excited to pick up my new 65 inch Toshiba TV that was on a great deal at Best Buy. I live 4 miles from the store so decided to swing by and pick it up tonight...BIG MISTAKE. After sitting for 10 minutes with 5 cars in the parking lot I was a little annoyed but disclaimer they DO say give them up to 10 minutes. Busy employees? No problem I have a new Honda CRV Elite LX with great air conditioning and great tunes to listen to. Get a message to my phone they are coming out, have my code ready and trunk open! YEA! The young man employee comes strutting out chewing his gum like a madman and carrying his phone. Being the friendly yelper I am, I thought I was HILARIOUS and said "That doesn't look like my TV!" Of course he didn't think I was as funny as I think I am and he grumbled that he was there first to make sure I had room. I had a few things in my trunk but there was PLENTY OF SPACE to fit the TV and my back seats were down and prepared. He barely looked in my said it wouldn't work! I was confused because there is obviously enough room and he said he can only bring it out if the TV stands totally up in my vehicle!! I am 62 and have had more junk in my trunk than most people so I said since when?? I said I have had plenty of TVs and some from Best Buy and no one has ever told me that and always loaded them with no problem. THEN he said... "OH, it is just THIS BEST BUY that requires it" LMBO!!!! THIS best buy only in America?? HM....It is 10 minutes until his quiting time and I KNOW when someone just doesn't want to do it! I said this is the only vehicle I have and he just stared at me chewing his gum. After complaining this is ridiculous he then "offered to HELP ME load it if I really wanted him to!" WTHeyDey is going on here?? A minute ago he wasn't "allowed" to load it and now he will "HELP ME LOAD IT??" As you know from my prior postings I had a heat stroke while moving and have some paralysis on my right side which is obvious by my droopy face and limp! I am not lazy but it is not MY JOB to do YOUR JOB and help you load my TV that you changed your mind about loading! GRRRRRR!!! So frustrated by this point that I said I guess I will have to cancel my order and get it from a different Best Buy. He actually raised his shoulders in an I DON"T CARE TYPE OF ATTITUDE and said "Okay" and walked away!! REALLY?? GRRRR...... I drove home FUMING and sad that now I am spending the night in my new place again without my big TV so I went thru McD's for a 99 cent cone to cheer me up! :) Now I am on my laptop checking the prices if I cancel and re-order from another BBuy and YEA! Same price still! But WAIT!! What does it say under the price?? (SEE PIC) We DELIVER FREE!!! No flippin way!??!! Mr too busy to help me and bring out my TV so he could get off on time NEVER offered me delivery!! Customer Service DUDE!! If you deliver FREE why would you not tell me that and offer to help me get it set up for delivery? OH YEA I KNOW WHY.... He was off in ten minutes! Silly me!! I can see by other yelpers they have had the same issue with the lazy employees from this store at closing time and shooing everyone out! Since they are now closed I will be reaching out to BB Customer Service tomorrow (NOT at this Best Buy!) seeing if they can help me. Right now it says 11SEP which is only a week away, but I truly feel I should get my TV sooner....well unless it is an 8pm delivery time!! LOL! I like shopping. I like being able to go into a store and see an item, look at different models, ask questions and, if needed, get immediate support. It saddens me to see stores go out of business (think CompUSA & Circuit City) while online-only retailers flourish. So, I do my best to support my local Best Buy, but boy do they make it difficult... Being that I purchase many electronics, and am upgrading the house as well as equipping new small business, I was recommended to purchase the Best Buy Totaltech protection. Large yearly fee and, so I was told, amazing support benefits and extended warranties! So, it just so happens I purchased an Epson 4760 printer in January. Come December the Magenta cartridge is no longer printing. I go online and chat with a support representative where I am walked through numerous steps to try to solve the problem. The rep determines that I need to take the printer into the store. We make a Geek Squad appointment (only available time is days later). I show up to my appointment on time, knowing that I have a kid's school concert to go to. Upon being called, I explain the issue only to be told that I do not have coverage because I didn't buy the extended warranty. I explain that the online rep said I am covered under the Totaltech protection. She proceeds to print out the old receipt to educate me that I do not have coverage and that since it is past the 30 (or was it 60) day manufacturer's warranty I must contact Epson. She would not offer any assistance nor understand that I had some type of coverage. Frustrated, I left the store. On my way to the school, I called the Best Buy support line. A dumbfounded rep explains that I should have been helped at the store, Specifically, her words were, "they know never to turn away a Totaltech customer. At the very least they should have offered to repair at a discounted rate." Ugh! The rep asks if I would like a follow up call from store management. I say yes!! She carefully takes notes, reads back the case, confirms my callback number, and explains that I should expect a call within twenty-four, at most 48 hours. That was 5 days ago. Another experience was bringing in my iPhone for a Wi-Fi connection issue. This store came up as the next available Authorized Apple Care location, the actual Apple Store around the corner was running a week later on appointments. Anyway, the rep looking at my phone says they will have to send it in, and more than likely "they" will send me a refurbished replacement phone. Then whispered, "I would just go to the Apple Store." So, I literally walked out of the Best Buy store, walked around the corner to Apple, signed in and within five minutes a rep found competing VPN services, turned off the Verizon service and I was back on Wi-Fi! Then let's not forget last Christmas. I ordered three high-ticket items for curbside pickup. While waiting in my designated spot, at least twice, yes twice, a Best Buy employee attempted to deliver a very expensive item to the wrong vehicle!! We were also approached about an item we did not order! This prompted me to keep a sharp eye for my items lest I be left without! As soon as I saw the cart with similar items I opened the door, told the rep those were mine, he proceeded to load my car and walked away. Not once did he ask for a receipt or an ID. Fortunately, they were my items, but I was shocked! Even the local grocery asks to see my ID before placing $40 worth of groceries in my car!! Can you say clueless?? I for one may even shed a tear when Best Buy goes out of business, but unfortunately, it will be their own undoing. Sad. read more

Maybe one of the worst Best Buy's for customer service just asking them hey do you guys know when you might potentially get more Pokémon cards in I was told to check on Tuesdays and Fridays cause that's when the truck usually comes and the person just keeps saying nope nope nope just gonna say nope I'm not telling you the truck process like is this how you treat customers nowhere in there was I asking to know about the process? I was just asking if you guys know if there's Pokemon products on your guys truck that I'm trying to buy product I get this is probably the number one thing that people are buying from Best Buy right now because no one cares to buy overpriced TVs when they can get it from Sam's Club or Costco for cheaper. But my God just asking about product shouldn't illicit a response like that and then on top of that for them to try to push the Best Buy plus and say if you're Best Buy plus member you get pushed notifications when we get stock in like I already have a Best Buy credit card why do I have to pay more money so I can get their inventory numbers just another cash grab because Best Buy is slowly going under. And don't bother calling the phone number. You just get sent to a call center somewhere and they don't know actual stock ever inside the store. A solid 50/50 mix of employees, half of which are knowledgeable and the other half who don't know Jack. Best Buy seems to follow the standard electronics store business practice by just mixing them in with each other in the same department. If you have a little bit of knowledge and know what you want, but have just a few questions for an employee it doesn't take long to figure out who knows what they are talking about. One guy will tell you about the product in detail. The other guys will just mumble something about it being a pretty color. I feel sorry for whosever parents or grandparents get the latter, cause they won't know it. This being said, their prices are good, but a lot of what they have on display in the computer department isn't in stock and I was told on several items they didn't know if they were going to be restocked. So pull the dang products off the shelves already! No wonder online retailing is winning. I do like being able to go in and see things in person before I buy, but it's hard to buy things if they don't have them in stock. read more

I went to Best Buy today to find 2 surge protectors and glass cleaner. I was welcomed by Rich at the front desk and an employee from Home Theater assisted in finding me a cheap but reliable product. Waited a long time for someone to assist , someone paged and we still had to wait a long time even though there were many in blue shirts walking around. Finally a tall man came to help with e-bikes and we couldn't sit on it to actually see how it would fit and for comfort even though there is a sign that said to ask anyone in a blue shirt to sit on them. When my husband said I guess you don't want to sell one, the young tall man said "nope". He didn't know the height of the bike and was no help and acted like he didn't care. We placed an order for a refrigerator. Should have been a basic service, the item was damaged so they had to make arrangements for a new one. Things happen. We made arrangements for a replacement and It was down hill after that. We had originally wanted the doors moved to open on opposite side with the original order the customer service rep assured us that would be taking care of on the second delivery. When we inquired about the doors to the driver he said no I am not, " You will not hold me up ! " do you want this one or NOT ! When we tried calling customer service that is located in a different country that was no help, hopefully 3rd times a charm. First time ever writing a negative review. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again. Paid for delivery and install of TV. The installer didn't show up on the day of the appointment with no call. They tried to come the next day after I spoke with Best Buy and the earliest they said they could do was the next week. Went to just go pick up TV from them directly and couldn't find the TV. Sent me to other location where I couldn't pick up because they had to deliver it. Two days later finally got the TV delivered. Had an appointment the next day for install that was once missed with no notification. Cancelled the install service for refund and have yet to see the refund. read more
