We wanted a new oven/range so we did the research to figure out what brand & model we wanted. Of course it was cheapest here. We went in last Saturday to order it. Crystal helped us since our salesperson has moved to another store. Just like before, all of the staff are welcoming, friendly & helpful. They could have had the range delivered on Monday, but we opted for a delivery today (the following) Saturday. We received our text message for our delivery timeframe window. Then we received another text when the delivery persons were 15 minutes away. The two delivery guys were friendly, professional & provide a high level overview of the range. They had it installed & our other one gone in no time. We have already used the oven part & love it! Any further TV, appliances or bed we need in the future will definitely come from here. I want to be clear: I don't normally write negative reviews. If you look at my profile, you'll see I almost exclusively leave positive ones. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Spencer's Appliance was so poor that I feel obligated to warn others. I've been a customer for years and have purchased well over a dozen appliances from Spencer's in the past with good experiences. That history is the only reason this situation is so frustrating. In the summer of 2025, I called and ordered a Frigidaire 15 cu. ft. chest freezer. I was explicit about the brand. I never received an invoice, email confirmation, or receipt at the time of purchase. The freezer was delivered while I was out of town, and a family member accepted it. When I returned home about a week later, I immediately noticed it was not a Frigidaire, but a Woods chest freezer--something I never ordered or agreed to. When I called to address this, the response was defensive. I was told they don't carry Frigidaire (despite it being listed on their website) and that this was essentially my mistake. To make matters worse, the freezer was also missing the casters/wheels. Multiple employees confidently told me that chest freezers don't come with wheels and that they'd "never seen one with wheels." After additional research, they admitted the wheels do exist and had been ordered. That was supposed to take 6-8 weeks. It is now January 2026--over six months later--and I still do not have the wheels. I have: * Called multiple times * Emailed multiple employees * Requested manager callbacks that never came * Been repeatedly told conflicting information Only after pushing did I finally receive a receipt--months later--which conveniently lists a Woods freezer, not the Frigidaire I ordered. At this point, it feels like a bait-and-switch, followed by months of deflection, misinformation, and refusal to escalate the issue to management. For a company I trusted and supported for years, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. read more

Well I got this letter in the mail today from Spencer that says I was invited to a Special Customer Sale event. After I got some of the worst service from them and couldn't care less about customers service. Seriously I thought it was a letter from them about all the issues we had with their installations of the $4500+ dollars we spent there. No it was to come and spend more money with a company that doesn't have any integrity at all. I still haven't received a letter or a call back from them. I would hope that they would reach out to us. Now I have to worry about all the extended warranty I had to pay for on each new units. I would be aware you deal with at the Gilbert location. They don't seem to care about the customers that already have purchased a lot of new appliances. It is frustrating to have them do something like this with a long time customer from the 1970s. read more

AAA+++ Highly recommend! Professional & efficient. Will use again. Their delivery service was spot on, so was the driver but the time window required for delivery need work. They use either an antiquated system to deliver or no new systems or apps at all for delivery windows. As a General Manager it is very difficult for me to take days off during my week. Being we had no washer & dryer when we moved in to our new house we needed one asap. Moving laundry, clothes all over, curtains, bedding etc. We had to wait for when I have off Saturday or miss a day of work because they could not give me a 4 hour delivery window just that the appliances get loaded and the driver contacts the order of delivery appliiance while on the road which requires someone to be home during delivery. Here is the rub, apps like RoadWarrior and Spoke are fairly inexpensive for a large corporation like Spencer's Appliances with 700 deliveries daily. read more

we needed a new dryer, like yesterday...after going to a couple other stores and not finding anything we liked, we went to Spencer's. it happened to be Mother's Day. just as we drove up the salesmen were locking the door. Brent (at the Gilbert location) asked what we were looking for. we told him a dryer and let us come in to look. we found one that was suitable and bought it. we were only in there less than 15 minutes. probably his fastest sale he's ever made. delivery was also awesome (Vance and his helper) they were able to deliver the next day. the only drawback was there was a couple small dents on the very bottom front. since it is back in the laundry room I was ok with it as long as I was compensated for keeping it...which I was. overall our experience with them very good. we'll be back for other appliances when needed. We recently had a dishwasher installed by Spencer's TV & Appliance. During the installation, the technician shut off our main water valve outside the home. Immediately after, the valve would not turn back on, leaving us without water. We contacted Spencer's and were told this was not their responsibility and were referred to a plumber. We had to pay $500 to have the valve replaced in order to restore water service. The water system was functioning prior to the installation visit, and the issue occurred directly after their technician operated the shutoff. Despite this, Spencer's did not offer any reimbursement, credit, or goodwill resolution. Installation itself may be straightforward, but if something goes wrong during the process, do not expect support or accountability. read more
