Not impressed. We were in the store over the weekend and given a card to call for an repair visit on Monday. No idea they didn't open until 10:00. So, texted the number on Kelly's card at 9:30. She responded by text. She responded after 10:00 with a diagnostic fee of $99 and then the tech would give a cost quote on repair. The catcher was she continued to text until about 11:30 and wanted the diagnostic fee prior to tech arrival. What? I'm to send her my credit card via text and hope he shows up? NO. Other repair shops also have a service call but usually apply to amount owed. We weren't impressed and decided to go elsewhere. read more

We bought a washing machine from them. Picked it up ourselves and brought it home only to find out it knocks really loud in the spin cycle. We called and they told us we would have to pay to have the machine picked up and then pay again for the new one to be delivered (or pay for us to rent another truck to do all that ourselves). They sent out the repair guy (for free) to come in and tell us he would replace the bent front face of the machine for free (what is causing the knocking noise), but never got back to us to set up a time to replace it. We just called there and they don't have any record of that in their system and have to 'get back with us'. You sold us a defective machine and won't stand by us to get it replaced. Purchased a clothes washer here. Had a dent on the side no one would see once pushed into place. Started to get obnoxious loud during the spin cycle after 2-3 weeks. Paradise attempted to resolve but stood behind the sale and replaced the machine. They have great in house service department! Found this place on offer up, went to there location and they have a wide selection of appliances to choose from. The salesman was very helpful i told him i wanted to stay away from, LG brand refrigerators and i wanted a side by side found one that had a small dent inside the door. And he took another 10% off. They delivered it today hooked it up . I am very pleased with the service and save about 400 bucks by finding this place. Unit was new still had the Styrofoam packaging on the inside and plastic covering the stainless on the outside just no box. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Shockingly dishonest. I went in to get a second refrigerator. In the area I was in, there was a sign that says "45% Off Top Mount Refrigerators." I think most reasonable people would take that to mean that you can get 45% off the marked price, which is what I would expect in a scratch and dent store. The top mount model I looked at was marked at $797, only slightly below the brand new price at the big orange store for $908. In fact, a new fridge in a different color was $818. Since this was to be a garage fridge, color wasn't important. When I asked about the signs advertising 45% off, I was told "No, that's just an estimate of the savings from the new price and not 45% off marked." When I pointed out that I was certain that on my prior visit I was offered 45% off the marked price, I was told I was wrong (I'm not, and can prove it). When I pointed out that the marked price was nowhere near 45% off "new," I was given a final price of about $747 if I recall correctly. Absolutely misleading, and completely dishonest, to advertise 45% off in large, red signage when there is no intention of meeting that price. I am 100% certain that my prior visit went differently, and I have the receipts to prove it. Buyer beware. read more

Horrible customer service. Bought and had them install a stove and dishwasher. They broke my countertops when installing the dishwasher and didn't say a word. Won't have it fixed until 1+ month out. The dishwasher was faulty even though they claimed they test it for 2 hours prior and now I am on hold for over 30 minutes trying to book an appointment for them to come replace it. Not only did they break the counter tops, they didn't even haul away the old one so I had to call and tell them and schedule another time for them to come out to take the trash out. Although prices were good, there were several items that were on offer up but we're not in store. They said that they have a hard time keeping up and deleting old merchandise. I don't think that is that hard of a thing though. The pricing was good and it's nice that everything is new but some of the scratch and dents looked pretty bad and i don't think they were marked down enough. Also, it's a little awkward when you browse because they follow you around and it's super quiet. I didn't feel like I could just really look, I felt Like I had to make a decision right then or get out. Staff was helpful and kind. I ended up going to Lowe's and getting a scratch and dent for much cheaper than anything else I had seen. read more

Edited Review: I had an issue with my month old appliance that forced me to yelp to get it corrected after Ann Marie was unable to provide options to me on the phone. Although I am not crazy about the fact it only got corrected after a negative review, I am satisfied in the fact that Louis was very professional and took care of my problem in a timely manor. Louis the owner and Jackie in Sales are awesome. I would recommend this store to others. I would recommend when dealing with warranties the manager Ann Marie is more proactive instead of having the owner be reactive after a negative review. The one star review is for the sales person, he was nice. That's it. I came into paradise to buy a stainless steel refrigerator to match the current brand new set of appliances in my kitchen. I was working on a flip with a tight timeframe and based on the good reviews, I thought that this would be a great place to buy a fridge at a good deal. Wow, I was WRONG. The sales person was really nice and helpful, but after I purchased a fridge that had a hardly noticeable dent (only could see it from the side), everything went wrong. The day of delivery, a large unmarked truck pulled up with an unmarked trailer and two delivery men (not sure I would even call them that, no company logo or any other sign of professionalism) got out. They started rolling the fridge down the driveway. The fridge was not covered in plastic or protected in any way. As they attempted to install it in my kitchen ( a shaped kitchen), they were screaming in Spanish at each other (I was in the other room but I took years of Spanish in college and knew that something had gone wrong). They quickly rolled the dolly out of the house and said thanks and were on their way. I immediately went to my kitchen and noticed that there was a decently sized new dent on the opposite side of the French door fridge. It appeared that they hit the granite counter top and dented the fridge. I ran out of the house to tell them to take it back, as this is not what I had purchased. BUT at this point they were long gone. I immediately called Paradise to tell them what happened and was reassured that they got this model in all the time and that they would either replace the whole door or another fridge all together. A day or two went by and as my dad started looking at the fridge closer, he noticed two shelves were bent, absolutely not useable and one of the drawers didn't fit correctly. Bottom line, the delivery drivers either damaged it at some point OR they delivered the incorrect fridge. Over the next few weeks of calls and emails/texts, (I was told to text an email for faster response), I was given reason after reason of delays why this wasn't fixed. I kept reminding them that I was on a time crunch and that I needed a solution. After about three weeks of this back and forth, I went into lowes to simply buy the same fridge (at an increase of about $250) and was told that the fridge was discontinued. So this fridge that I had been waiting for (they had been waiting for) may never come because the manufacturer no longer makes it. At this point, I order another and tell paradise to come pick up the fridge because I cannot wait any longer. They apologize for the millionth time and give me another 4 hour window for pickup. I then argued with them about having to wait another 4 hours because this is their error and that the house is only 1.5 miles from their location and I shouldn't have to sit at a vacant house for hours based on their mistake (or their delivery people's mistake). Fast forward to the day of delivery pickup, I had my parents there because I had to be at another location and couldn't sit there at a vacant house for 4 hours. The delivery people picked up the fridge and proceeded to yell at them for taking a picture of the fridge being loaded onto the truck (they took pictures as proof that it was taken back). They were yelling at them saying that they didn't damage the fridge. Absolutely NO professionalism whatsoever. Meanwhile, I've checked my credit card recently only to find that I wasn't given back around $98 from the purchase. Why they didn't credit me back the full amount is RIDICULOUS. Not only was I paying interest on an item that wasn't usable and WASN'T what I ordered, they didn't give me a full refund with no explanation as to why. My credit card company has said something about "third party vendor" which I believe is their way of not refunding you for their third party vendor services. My contract was with paradise, not whatever delivery "company" they use. I will be contacting the attorney general as well, since these issues are absolutely not acceptable. Sorry for the long winded review, but anyone who orders from here needs to see this, I would have not bought anything here if I saw a review like this!! read more

Uniquely my review is only about service. I have tried numerous times to contact Paradise Appliances. I originally contacted them through Offer UP. I had a question about a range they had listed for sale. I was looking for a full set of kitchen appliances and just like everyone else I wanted the best deal I could get. They refused to answer any questions on the Offer UP forum. They had a "canned" response of "Call now 480-892-4488". I explained my situation and asked that my questions be answered before I drove 30 miles to see "if" they had what I was looking for. Then...... I called numerous times and there was never an answer. I then went back on Offer UP and said I had tried numerous times on numerous days and no one EVER answers. I received a message saying Call Now. I did..... and there was no answer. This leads me to think this is a business I do not want to do business with. If there is no customer service BEFORE the sale you can bet there will be no customer service After the sale. Another note is that Paradise Appliance has only ONE review. One five star review. However, if you look at Yelp they have lots of reviews. I find that VERY interesting. read more

My wife and I went in today (Sunday 7/15/2018) right at opening 11 am. We only went for a new washer, ended up buying new washer and dryer (LG front load) and new Frigidaire French door style refrigerator. Amazing prices and the financing was sooooo easy to use! Only paid $40 plus tax and have 12 months to pay it off. Comparing prices I paid about half the cost of brand new at the big box stores, which I'm very happy about. Minor scratches and sings on brand new never been used appliances at 50% savings Also the young lady named Sarah Adams was very helpful, I will be recommending this place to everyone I know and I will be a repeat customer in the future. One I found Sarah at Paradise Appliance, I stopped looking anywhere else. She provides top notch service, and ALWAYS has what I am looking for. The quality of the appliances are always great. Update: I was contacted shortly after this review by a representative of the company. They apologized for the experience and refunded me the difference between the two dishwashers. Summary: If you buy an appliance from this company and it doesn't work or malfunctions shortly after you purchase it they're not very helpful. I can't recommend this company and would advise anyone to shop elsewhere. If you want my experience I typed it below. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this company. This occurred in October of 2021 for the purchase of a dishwasher. I went with Bosch and at the time there was only one option at this store available. He told me there was a cheaper Bosch but it was already spoken for and was supposed to have been picked up already. He advised me that if the buyer didn't pick it up today I would be able to purchase it. I asked why there was water inside the dishwasher and he told me that they test all the dishwashers before they deliver them or have the customer pick them up. I then purchased the more expensive Bosch, the representative told me it would need to be tested before I took it home. I asked how long it would take and he told me a couple of hours. I came back a couple of hours later and they told me the dishwasher was ready to go and to pick it up in the back. The dishwasher had no water in it and some of the soap gunk that I had seen when I initially examined it before the test was still on the inside of the dishwasher. I installed the dishwasher at my house. It turned on but wouldn't run and gave an error code. I attempted some troubleshooting and found online that the issue I was dealing with was probably a bad sensor and more than likely the board would need to be replaced. I didn't want to go deeper into this by hiring a professional to come out and fully diagnose something I had just purchased. I then went back to the store and requested a refund. I was declined and told that because I installed the dishwasher myself they would not issue me a refund. The best they could do would be an exchange. The cheaper Bosch dishwasher had not been picked up and was now available. I decided to go with this option as it seemed it had already been tested unlike the one I was previously sold. Kathryn then changed the price of the cheaper Bosch dishwasher to make it the same price as what I had paid for the original more expensive model. It worked for two cycles and the sensor went on it. I was able to reset the dishwasher but it would only work for maybe 2-5 washes before needing to be reset. Did they offer to make it right? Well no, this is a terrible company to deal with if you run into any problems with the products they sell. I ended up giving this one away and listing my issues with it because I couldn't in good conscience sell this to anyone. I then took the loss and bought a new one from Lowes and surprise surprise it works and still works almost a year later. Everyone at his store is nice and pleasant but they are unable to solve problems. Their function is to get and keep your money. The true measure of a company is what they do when something goes wrong. In this regard this company's handling of this issue was a complete abject failure. read more

Came here on the advice of a friend for high quality kitchen appliances at a big discount. Very impressed with the huge selection, great customer service, reasonable prices and high quality. Some of these units are "scratched and dented" in name only, our appliance was in perfect condition. It would have been too big and heavy for me and my wife to install ourselves so we used the services of AIE to have it delivered and installed for a reasonable fee, the very next morning. The installer Jeremy came on time and did a clean and professional job. I can definitely recommend checking out this showroom before paying hundreds or in some cases over a thousand more from big box stores. read more

I purchased a New washer and dryer combo in April of 2022 from Paradise Appliance. I was told that they only sale floor models, scratch & Dent and open box. After only about 6 months my washing machine started to "eat my bedding " . I noticed when they came out of the washer they had runs and snags . I contacted Samsung and I was informed that my machine was not covered under warranty because they said by the model number that was on the machine that the machine was refurbished. I was advised to contact the company where I purchased it. I contacted Paradise and spoke with them about what Samsung said about the washer was refurbished and he laughed and said that was not possible because they don't sell refurbished appliances. I have had 2 appliance techs one from Samsung and one from Paradise and all they did was run their hands around the drum and say they can't see anything wrong. I was informed by Paradise Appliance that there is nothing wrong with my washer and that they were not going to replace it. So BUYERS BEWARE of faulty appliances and nasty customer service. Remember "you get what you pay for". If it's a discount price it will be a discount appliance. read more

They gave me a price for a damaged fridge, that was the same as one I could purchase brand new at Home Depot for the same price, that was not damaged. So I pointed that out and they checked with the boss and they said they would take $100 less but I can not get the 10% off that they are offering on all appliances that day. I went to Home Depot and bought a fridge with NO DAMAGE and they delivered it for free for $50 more!! This place is not 30% to 55% off it was a waist of my time, they miss advertise. So far, I have purchased a dryer and a fridge here and have been very satisfied with both. The selection varies from week to week, so it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure that they have what you are looking for. While the employees are not allowed to load the items into your vehicle, my housemate and I loved their convenient lift, which allowed an employee to get the fridge situated in such a way that we could easily shimmy it into the back of my truck. Since my experiences buying used appliances have been very hit-and-miss in the past, I feel more confident purchasing discounted scratch and dent or overstock items that are still covered under manufacturer warranty. read more
