OMG! I haven't had my nails done in over 15 years due to I have a little germophobe with dirt getting under my nails. I washed my hands 7 to 10 times a day. But I wanted to get my nails done for a graduation so my friend recommended this place. It was the best experience I've had in a long time. TW in the pictures!!! I'm so upset, I've been going here for years and a couple months ago I received a pedicure. Shortly after, the base by my cuticle was red and swollen, but I just thought it was irritation. Long story short, it proceeded for months and grew into that hideous picture you see. It turned out I got a bacteria called pseudomonas. I went through 8 different rounds of antibiotics for over 50 days but my nail was just dead at that point so I had to go under general anesthesia and get my entire toe nail removed. When the surgeon pulled the nail out there was an entire biofilm of that bacteria. It's still red and healing very slowly due to all the trauma but I'm just hoping my nail grows back because it might have permanently damaged the matrix. Probably will never get a pedicure anywhere again after dealing with this mess. read more

I don't get my nails done regularly. I had builder gel done somewhere else about 4 weeks ago it was just ok and I wasn't happy enough to go back to that place. Ben took me with only one hour left until closing. He removed my old product, manicured my cuticles and applied new product all for $60. My nails are short and natural so keep that in mind for your pricing. I also got very plain one color builder gel, because I knew we didn't have time for designs. Other places I was looking at were charging a lot just for removal. Ben drilled off my old product very carefully without filling down my nail. My service was very quick I got out of there within an 1 hour and 15 minutes. I do pay attention to all the tools to make sure they have been cleaned and prior to Ben drilling my nails I looked at the drill and it was clean. No trace of powder at all. I hate seeing powder on the drill I feel the tech isn't cleaning the tools in between clients, so I was so happy to see the clean drill and he used new buffing pads (I have had places try to use used buffing pads before) and the other tools were in the sealed pouches. He paid attention to detail even though we were past his closing time and my nails look Beautiful. I can't wait to come back for my fill and get a design. read more

I came here for the first time instead of going to the place I usually go to because it's right across the street from me and I could walk here since my husband and I are down to one car right now and he uses it for work. I wanted acrylic nails and from the beginning I told the guy they are uneven and that the thumbs are too short, and the rest of the nails are much longer. He kept arguing with me and wouldn't fix it. Finally I told him to just take them off and he refused to because he said it would hurt and he still charged me $20 even though the nails aren't finished and I now have to go somewhere else to get them off and get a new set. All I wanted was acrylic nails with the white tip. This is the worst experience I've ever had. And he started talking to his co-worker in their language after I complained. I came here for a mani and pedi prior to the holidays. It is a very basic old school nail spot. They don't seem to do a lot of the newer stuff and they definitely do not specialize in designs. There were some things to like: I got the standard mani/pedi service and the massage was great for both feet (mine ache from hours treading through a concrete warehouse in safety shoes) and arms/hands. They did not try to up sell me The massage chair was amazing-usually these don't impress me much and I don't even turn them on Not as great: Their polish job was not the best. One of my toes was not smoothed enough prior to polish so it appears bumpy. My nails- he seemed super confused by the request for glitter without a color underneath. He seemed taken aback by me asking for a holiday design. The snowflake he drew was a bit wonky but I do appreciate the jeweled center which is still on a week later. One nail (right thumb) chipped off after 3 days. Gel manicures normally last me at least 10 days with no chips. Will I be back? probably not since they had a hard time with the gel polish but I would recommend it for the foot massage if that is your main goal. read more

First thing - I got a bad skin infection from a pedicure here. It was extremely painful, I was on antibiotics (say hi to urgent care for a couple of hours). I let the owner know via telephone and he did not seem phased (or sorry) but there is likely a communication barrier there. I used to love this place, it was my go-to! I have since changed nail salons and have found a place that is easier on my nails (especially if you get dip, it's important that they are careful removing or it will really destroy your nails). You'll probably like your nails most of the time, it's just a gamble whether or not everything is sanitary. read more
