I finally had the chance to get my nails done with Ivy and I loved the attention to detail she gave. It took me about a month to get her services but I was wanting to see her for about 3 months. Ivy only goes by appointments so if you want to meet with her, plan in advance. I asked for a negative space nail art and Ivy nailed it. I was impressed with how much the finishing look resembled the nail inspo I brought her. I prefer dip but stray away because other nail technicians make my nails look thicker than what they are. Ivy, however, made my nails look as natural as possible. Her salon is very cute. Ivy is such a sweetheart and I would definitely will be going back to her. I have found my nail technician!

Ivy did a great job on my nails! She was super professional and sweet. I called hoping she might have an open appointment on the weekends. When someone cancelled she called me right back to fit me in. This was my first time getting a full set and she helped me choose the tip and color that I wanted. I am BEYOND impressed and happy after my appointment today with Ivy. She was patient in removing my chunky acrylic nails that I couldn't wait to get off! Then we did a dip powder and it's no lie when people says she's the queen of it because they came out PERFECT! Not only that but she gave me a nice little hand massage with some sweet smelling lotion in the end. Please, if you love your nails, do not think twice and book an appointment with her ASAP! I'll be coming here again and again! Thank you, Ivy! :) Side note: this entire salon is so cute!!!! I'm considering setting an appointment to get my hair done here! Pic is result of gel nail. I tried to get more info on the difference with pink and white acrylic, powder, gel, polish, etc. nothing much was said. I was waiting for her to explain. Ivy just started applying the gel. I don't think I've ever used gel. When my nails are not used to products my nails reject it and falls apart. In pic. the gel wears out like polish on the white tip. Ivy said next time she will apply what I use which is a French manicure acrylic or powder, my way or what I asked for. I left a message to schedule another appointment. I never heard back. For the past 2-3 weeks I've been in pain as my nails fell off, bent as it got soft on the sides. I've been upset, hurt, pissed at this whole experience. This was my first appointment with Ivy. She set me for 3:p but she already had a 3p. I had to come back. Paid for this first set. All nails fell off when salons shut down last year. Now I have to find another nail tech for another new first set. This is atrocious. She takes cash or 3rd party pay service. Forgot the name of the app. She doesn't take cheques or credit cards. If this is the case she charges extra. This is my first (and last) appointment with her. You would think a new client would have an easy, comfortable, relaxing, pleasant "first appointment." I was looking forward to my nails looking pretty after a year. I had to run outside to the ATM to pay her cash. Then I was lock out. I think I paid extra for something. I can't remember what. (No tip that's for sure. I'm on a fixed income. I can't tip her for her mistakes.) I didn't mean this review to be long winded but it turns out the entire experience as a "new client" was almost traumatic. read more

I have gone there 2 times now and I have received quick service. I get a Mani-Pedi with DIP Powder on my finger nails. The girls are very friendly and willing to answer your questions if you have any. I went in today, due to a chip in 1 of my nails just a few days after getting them done. The girl took a look at my nails to make sure I just got them done, not too long ago. Which is fine, because there are a lot of shady people out there these days. She took care of me right away and didn't charge me. I gave her a tip, even though it was only 1 nail. The gentleman that works there is very kind and very helpful as well. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a new spot. read more

I just got my nails done by Ivy yesterday and I am SUPER pleased with them! I had been growing out my nails for a little while and decided to go with my natural nail. She shaped them nicely and was super gentle! I asked for French tips with a cute little flower/daisy on my ring finger and she ended up doing a little more nail art and it turned out amazing! She's so cute, fun, and sweet and I can't wait to come back to get my nails done by her again! The salon is extremely clean and I love the minimal rustic style and decor of it. Location: If you're on Orange Tree Lane and see the furniture store Urban Elegance, Ohana Salon is located BEHIND that! I wish that there were signs posted up that lead to the salon - it can be hard to find! read more

Gel manicure with regular pedicure costs $85. Pretty pricey but decent job. I noticed that she left a small gap near where my cuticles were so it looks like my nail already grew out. Not sure why it wasn't painted all the way up. read more

Don't confuse this place with the other Ivy Nail Salons in the IE - she is the REAL DEAL! Always courteous, attentive, professional & ON TIME! I love the fact that she is a single chair operator so you get to enjoy you appointment without the extra noise & distractions. Its no wonder she's booked weeks in advance! Before reading this review, contact Ivy and get on the books. She books up fast! If you have to wait for an appointment, it's worth it! She's super friendly and inside a hair salon so it's spacious. I think the longest I've ever waited is 10 minutes but she's usually right on time. Being that I've gotten my nails done for years, I consider 10mins still on time. She's gentle when removing old nails to make sure you don't feel like they're getting ripped off of you. Ivy is super sweet and can keep conversation going well or she'll understand when you just want to sit back and get pampered for that bit! read more

I have been to several nail salons in the IE and I think Ivy is by far the best at dip powder nails. They not only look amazing but lasted a really long time, which is particularly impressive since I work with my hands a lot for a living. She took the time to make them look really natural and dainty, which is what I prefer. She is also very sweet and easy to talk to :) read more

Wow, the abundance of shady, and flaky businesses is scary. You send a message, and you see that they have read it... yet they don't reply. I guess business is so good, that they don't need the money; or they are rude like other places. I don't get it. Common courtesy is to respond, and if a business cannot even take the time to reply...then aren't worthy of my business or anyone else's. Don't go here. They are rude, if they can't take a second of their time to respond to a message, then they don't deserve a penny of anyone's money. read more

Ivy has done my nails twice now and she's amazing! I first saw her on yelp and text her for an appointment. She was able to fit me in promptly and was very charming. I get a gel mani and regular pedi when I go. I look for nail ideas on Pinterest and she recreates them perfectly! You need to text her for an appointment because she has a lot of clients. When I reschedule with her she pulls out an appointment book that she keeps for her records. The salon does not book her appointments she does via text. She also texts you to remind you the day before your appointment which is very helpful. If you're looking for an amazing nail tech then text her! read more

I've come to Ivy for awhile now and I can honestly say her work is awesome!! I always get what I envision, and I always receive many compliments on my nails. The dip powder has helped my natural mails grow. I strongly advise to call and make an appointment ahead of time. She's so good, she's very busy. Prices are great! Poor service! I found this location here on Yelp and it states Walk-in's welcome. I then called for the location Ivy did not state that it was appointments only. I drove 30 minutes to their location to be turned away. DONT GO HERE! read more

Ivy is great! She's so sweet and very professional and does an amazing job! After my old nail shop switched owners and the original manicurists left, I had been searching for a good place to go. I read that this place said by appointment only but I took a chance and called to see if she had any openings and someone had just canceled and she was able to get me in....and guess what? She was one of the original manicurists from the nail shop I used to go to. I am so glad to have found her. She's the girl to go to if you want a great manicure! read more

She has a sign that says "Dip Queen" at her work station and it's TRUE! She is amazing at the dip powder technique. Maybe it's because she takes her time? Whatever it is, she does amazing work! My dip never chips and lasts a month! She always has to soak it off at my next appointment. I highly recommend her! I'm even bringing my mom and cousins to see her. read more

There are good food spots near this salon and there are shopping centers extremely closeby. Theresa helped me and she was extremely nice and I loved the french manicure she did on me. I came to this salon a second time on a Friday as well, only this time I called ahead. When I arrived near the time of my scheduled appointment, I was sat down almost immediately, no waiting extra. This was also my experience the first time. Winnie did my deluxe manicure the second time I was here and I loved it. I thoroughly enjoy the extra add-ons to a manicure such as the massage and paraffin wax. She did a great job at massaging my arm and helping me relax. The paraffin wax they use smells like peaches and it makes the skin on your hands and arms feel soft afterwards. I showed Winnie a reference picture of some nails I found online. She was so dedicated to making sure it came out as close as possible to the reference, that she had assistance from another nail tech to do the flower designs to make sure it came out perfect. I appreciated the dedication to detail and service. The picture is the final result and I ADORE how it came out! I love a simple short nail manicure and this place delivered the result I wanted. She should've offered me a full refund or a free service instead she let me know the bumpy paint look could happen when going from gel to non-gel polish and that It just needs another coat now that it's dry. The lady who did my pedicure told me I was finished. I just would not recommend. Save your time and money if you want to be respected and taken care of appropriately. I usually tip very well but of course, I did not tip at all.

Massage chairs were amazing. We each had the regular pedicure $35 or #1 with added callous removal for an additional $8. My feet were nice and smooth, nails trimmed to my liking and heels soft. I had a last minute request to cut a rogue cuticle on my one finger and they helped me with that free of charge. They also shared Vaseline would help heal my cuticle. Great advice. Love Ivy. I've been coming to Ivy since I moved here in September. She slowly convinced me to switch from acrylics to using dip. I am so glad she talked me into the change! Dip is way more natural looking and feeling. I get a full 3 weeks between manicures, no chipping. Love them and love Ivy! read more
