A decade ago, I used to really like this place but now they do the bare minimum if that. It's nice inside but could be cleaner. I paid $60 for service that wasn't provided. The lady at the front desk came across as a bit rude and had a hostile energy toward me, and I felt like I was being rushed to pay. Additionally, while I was sitting in the chair, the lady who did my mani wouldn't let go of the Tap-to-Pay machine so I could comfortably pay with my phone myself. The first 2 visits were okay, however this time my gel manicure chipped the first day after I got it done. I went back, they fixed that one nail and it chipped again the second day when I was out of town. I called to have them fix it when I got back and they said they only honor it within 3 days. There is absolutely NO REASON why a new gel manicure costing $70 should chip that early on. It's now been 10 days and my entire manicure has come off. Gel nails always last me atleast 2-3 weeks. I came here for a pedicure because I didn't want to do it myself and wanted the pampering. I was able to get in quickly. The service was attentive and friendly. I went with the Hawaiian Pedicure because I also wanted the massage. It was nice but next time I would go somewhere else for the massage part. I also opted for the regular nail polish vs. gel because I don't like how long it takes to remove the gel type polish. I would not recommend the regular polish. The application was not even and is thicker and thinner across my toenails. I was happy about the grooming of my pedicure but for the polishing, I would rather do that myself. read more

I am updating my review because I loved this place but went back for the first time in a while and they had people sitting around & they STILL rushed, I had one acrylic broken that I needed fixed & instead of soaking it off the guy just shoved another nail under it & ripped it off, not sure if that's common but it hurt a lot. I also just got a fill & it was over $50 & when I asked why their website said fills start at $30 and for a price breakdown why mine was $50 they said their fills now start at $40. Now it's been about 4 days & 5 nails have already chipped. One formed a huge bubble and did completely coming off. The girl that I had do my pedicure Clipped OFF the Corners of my Toe Nails-This Leads to Ingrowns!! BTW I used to do nails and I feel like if this Nail Tech got her License, She should know this. Also, when I got the manicure she started to File the SIDES of my Nails as if they were Acrylics- They were Not, Nor was I getting a Gel Manicure, Just a plain old regular manicure, which there was ZERO reason to file my nails like she did, Even After I asked her Not to. The Bonus was she had to answer her phone while she was doing my manicure and had a whole conversation while doing half my manicure. My usual spot in Rancho is currently closed and I wanted to get my nails done , so I figured I try to find a place in my local area . 5 Points is located in downtown Redlands and is in a shopping center , and the writing is small so I can look hidden . This Is my second time coming here so here is in my take Pros: -Judging from their pics and my recent appointment, they can pretty much do any design (although it might depend on who's doing your nails) - they offer a complimentary lemon soak at the end of the service (although at the end of my second time returning I didn't revive one ) -Unique Pedicure services (Highly recommend the Hawaiian Pedicure!) - Variety of colors in dip and gel -Staff seems friendly Cons: -It's strongly recommended to make an appointment . Now I don't know if it has always been like this before Covid . But they will turn down walk ins - You can make an appointment but , big 9/10 you will wait and that honestly depends on how many people are working , and if they work at a good pace . So you have to think about that. I've waited almost 45 mins and I scheduled an appointment ! - They're only taking cash at the moment - I've seen people waiting outside right behind their tent , in front of the salon - Prices have gone up since Covid supposedly (makes sense) - No music or ambience is playing , so it's pretty quiet .
