Ruby, transformed my butchered nails from Diamond Nails into something magnificent. She cut down my natural nails and reshaped them, too. I opted for a gel manicure and holy cow did she deliver! I have found my forever nail tech. Nails by Ruby is located inside of a chic, upscale and modern hair salon. Ruby, practices all COVID-19 requirements and enforces them, too! Upon entering you're greeted by Ruby, led to wash and sanitize your hands. DISCLAIMER: You text that you've arrived and she will respond when she has cleaned and fully sanitized her station. She has done this PRE-COVID-19! She offers a wide variety of services. Not limited to just manicures, gel, dip and acrylics. Pedicures as well, yay! She is very precise and OCD like myself. Her edges are incredibly clean. She gets booked up quickly. Two weeks in advance. I know why now! Eureka, I've struck gold! -------- I cannot comment on Ruby's artwork, however, her character is phenomenal. My father tragically and unexpectedly passed away. I was desperate to find someone to professionally remove my dip powder manicure. Ruby, displayed such candor, respect, compassion and displayed HUMANITY. She said "Dina, I am so sorry for your loss. I am booked solid for two weeks. If I get a cancellation you will be the first client I contact" Ladies and gentlemen; it was a miracle. A cancellation. She informed me of the time and date. I told her I needed to check my calendar only because of all the funeral appointments, meetings etc. I asked her if she would wait for me to respond the NEXT morning day. She agreed. Who does this? Ruby! Unfortunately, the time conflicted with my pre-arranged appointments. Ruby, was understanding and unbelievably kind. This is someone, a business I will stand behind proudly and support. Why? Not a fan. When I arrived to my appointment time, I still had to wait about 15-20 minutes before she took me back because she "had a nail emergency prior." She did not even apologize for running behind. She then mistaked me for someone else, which was annoying. I got a gel manicure, and her heat lamp caused me extreme pain and discomfort when my hands were under the lamp. I've had gel nails done for years at multiple salons, and I have never experienced any pain until I came here. Her small talk was cringy, judgemental, and not professional. I would have been happier sitting there in silence. The best part is my service was $40 (pricy) before tip and the nail color did not even last very long. It started chipping on the 7th day. It is supposed to last for 2-3 weeks minimum. Disappointing. read more
