I've been going to Belle for a while now but they seem to be going downhill. One of my major concerns is they don't have their prices posted. I didn't know how much they would charge until the end. I went into another salon later and picked up a service menu which had the prices for each service spelled out. I wish Belle would do this. It's more professional. The girl who did my nails was apparently new (I haven't seen her before.) She did an okay job but it seemed like she rushed through it. read more

I have been to Belle twice the first time I went both my manicure and pedicure chipped THE NEXT DAY. The second time I went (why I returned I'll never know) I got a pedicure and watched while sitting under the dryer my technician take the tools she had just used on my feet ON THE NEXT CUSTOMER!!!! I was absolutely horrified! That is my absolute worst nightmare when it comes to getting my nails done I shutter to think what feel those tools were on before mine! read more

Not happy! People were nice! and should be good when it was always pack. Didn't have to wait but it was Friday at 3pm on mothers day weekend. I went with my friend for a mani pedi and they offered us $40 for the regular one or $50 for the spa one. My friend picked the regular one, I went for the spa since my last mani pedi was a yr ago. My pedicure was over maybe 10 minutes after my friend's, but we both were done with everything at the same time. My friend was charged $40 and I was charged $65!!! According to the girl, the $40 is a discount price that included the manicure. The spa one does not included the manicure, so is $50 plus $15 more for a manicure! :/ What?? Didn't make any sense to me! I wish the spa was worth it, but I had better before at a better price! No scrubs, she offered treatment for the heels, and my heels were barely touch. no warm wax, just warm rocks, an oil and a cream and a lot of massage, so much that I got tired and bored. Hate Belle Nails. I ran into Michelle former employee of Creative Nails and she implored me to come to her new shop. Tuesday, February 26, I had manicure with my usual gels. Two days later the $30 gels lifted. I went back to the shop and all of a sudden no one spoke English. I asked for a refund and it was refused..The receptionist suggested I make an appointment for a repair. Lesson learned, will not return and will report to Better Business Bureau. They must be using inferior products. Never had this happen! I hope my review saves you time and money. I had to rate one star in order to post...no star is my rating. read more

Belle Nail just opened at the new shopping center on Buckeystown Pike behind the Westview theaters in Frederick. It's one of only two stores open in that end of the shopping center and, therefore, it is not getting a lot of business. I was the only client at the salon on a Friday after work when you would expect people to be getting their nails done. I was there for a pedicure only. I have had pedicures done previously in 4-5 places and this place ranks in the middle. The process was pretty much the standard process. It just felt like the lady was a bit too superficial. It did not seem like she was trying to do a great job, just a mediocre one. The price was not that great either at $28. For the same service at the Rockville town center (which most would say is a ritzy-er area) another salon charges $27. If you can go to Rockville, like I can, you would not go to Belle Nail. ...and I won't again. read more

Went to this salon today, for a pedicure and manicure, with a friend who is a regular customer. After removing the polish from my toenails I discovered what looked like toenail fungus. I asked the technician if she recognized it as toenail fungus and she said she didn't know (?!). First red flag. She continued to clip and file my nails until I decided that it probably wasn't a good idea for the pedicure to continue, since I looked up pics on my phone and I definitely had toenail fungus. I asked the technician if I could stop and get some of my money back and she said no, since my nails had already been clipped and filed. One leg was not done and no polish had been applied. I explained what had happened and another technician became involved and adamantly refused any type of refund. The technician was willing to continue the pedicure AND apply polish. I said no. I had toenail fungus! I also decided I would not get the Manicure since they had been so rude and were embarrassing my friend and some of the other staff. My friend told the technician that the items she used on my toenails needed to be sterilized, since I had toenail fungus and she was ignored. The items sat there and there was no extra steps taken to clean the foot spa. In my opinion, if the technician doesn't recognize common toenail fungus, does not clean utensils that have come in contact with toenail fungus, and ignores a repeat customer that tries to stress the importance of cleanliness and toenail fungus, the salon should be reported. I am doing this. The technician was rude and sloppy. She put no effort into the little bit of work she did. I would not go back there and I will tell everyone I know that they don't recognize toenail fungus and don't care if you have it, the pedicure will happen and the infected polish will go back on the shelf. read more

I went to Belle nails the other day to get my gel manicure filled and repainted. I have never been here before and was in the area so thought I'd stop by. They took me right away which was good, but it was the quickest and sloppiest manicure i've ever received. She was done in about 20 minutes, and usually when I go to other places they really take the time to make sure my nails are done right, which usually takes around 40 minutes. She was harsh when using the rotating files, and nicked my fingers up pretty good (I didn't realize I was bleeding until I got home.) I had chosen a light colored gel polish, and she only applied two coats so you can still see my actual nails underneath and it is completely uneven. Also, most of my nails aren't shaped in the same way. My actual nails are poking out of the edges of some, and I ended up refiling them when I got home. Also, they were very nice to me but were talking rudely and laughing about another customer in their own language, which I thought was completely inappropriate. I feel like I could give myself a better manicure, and will not be returning to Belle nails. read more
