Came here for Taco Tuesdays and to find have somewhere quite to converse. Tacos are 2 for $5, which includes chicken and shrimp; fish and steak are extra. The tacos were tasty and fresh in a soft shell. Good portion, nothing to rave about, could use a tad bit more flavor. I also had a drink but don't know which one because I asked my waiter "Unique" to just bring it to me with tequila. The drink was ok it tasted watered down as if there weren't any liquor or flavor (not overly saturated with syrup), which isn't bad, but could use just a tiny bit and very pretty which is what I asked for. My waiter "Unique" was very attentive and very cool. He gave me a shot of strawberry Pina colada, and I liked it. My date wanted a burrito since I told him the cuisine was Mexican-carribean fusion, but I talked him into the quesadilla, and he liked it. Maybe burritos can be an option. Let's talk about the inside. I love the addition of the lounge area, which is really cute. I love the decor and the couches. My first time being here, but I do follow online, and it seems like the menu has been refined drastically from when they first opened. Bella's is such a vibe! I've come here on numerous occasions, and this spot always hits the mark. Things that I love: - The food is amazing! You must try the Oxtail Flatbread, Wings, or Oxtail Tacos. - The drinks are strong! My favorites are the Rum Punch and Henny Colada. - You can celebrate many occasions here. Came here for taco Tuesday. The details change from time to time but currently they are running 2 chicken tacos for $5 and happy hour until 10pm. Great customer service. The owner Nick was there and he was extremely nice. They just recently extended the restaurant. So there is more seating options and event space. When we went we ordered the lamb tacos and the oxtail tacos. They were out of lamb so we opted for the grilled shrimp tacos. The grilled shrimp was delish ($13.95). The oxtail tacos ($17.95) were served birria style with oxtail gravy. The taco shell was huge. Could have used more meat. The Bourbon Wings were good. We also ordered rasta pasta to go. Loved that! The jerk chicken was on point as well as the grilled chicken. The jerk chicken had a nice spice too. Would definitely order those again. Didn't love the rum punch but the pineapple frozé is a winner. This is a new black owned spot. The staff is super nice and accommodating. It is really small in there. Seating is at a long bar. The entire staff including the chief are directly behind the bar where you can see your food and drinks being made. The last time I came it was crowded so I was happy to see it was empty this time. Andrea was very nice. I decided to try the rasta pasta w grilled chicken & a rum punch. She let me sample a frosé; it was good too. While there I learned theyll be expanding which is great. I enjoyed the time I was there. I'm so disappointed in this place. IG loves to hype things up but I never fall for just pics. I enjoy supporting black businesses so when I saw this place finally opened I knew I had to try it out soon. Now let me start by saying the workers and the manager was very sweet. They answered all my questions and even topped up my drink when I felt that it was too sweet. Inside is small and you can see the cooks preparing and cooking right in front of it. Seating arrangement are along a long bar. The food- The oxtail tacos were a joke. How dare you give me just pieces of oxtails in a taco alone. I could of made this nonsense myself. Once we reach the entrance we didn't know if we were waiting for someone to seat us or what. The lady behind the counter just pointed us forward. There are 3 options shrimp, steak or chicken. We ordered the jerk shrimp tacos and the steak. The steak was really good a hit. The shrimp was a miss it was over sauced and the shrimp was finely minced. We ordered the nachos and they have homemade chips it comes with salsa , sour cream and guacamole on the side. It was just ok. I had a rum punch very good and then a rum sangria also really good these were apart of the $8 drink specials. It's a small spot with beautiful decor and good music playing. It has a bar with an open kitchen concept.They acquired the space next door and added a lounge. We enjoyed love 68 flavored hookah in the lounge area. I would say avoid this place. Waited 10 minutes for drinks and they were hot and had no alcohol in them what so ever. Calamari was real slimey and undercooked. So happy my girlfriend found this place! We were looking for a place to grab something quick to eat and fell upon this. They are still getting the place together so I'm looking forward to see how everything comes out. We got the bourbon wings which were delish and my girl loved the burger and sweet potatoe fries! A friend and I had lunch at Bella's on Monday. It is a fairly new establishment in Flatbush. We arrived shortly after they opened for the day. The interior is chic but on the small side. My friend and I ate at the bar where the kitchen is fully visible to patrons. Our waiter/bartender Nailah was the highlight of our meal. She was so kind! She also gave us the best recommendations for food and drinks. Make sure you order her version of rum punch! It doesn't disappoint. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and I ordered the jerk chicken dish. I was pleasantly surprised by the side of oxtail gravy with my dish. Rice and peas can be dry so was happy to add extra flavor to my meal. I didn't dislike my food, but the portions seemed off. I received what appeared to be pieces of a chicken thigh? A hidden gem in Brooklyn! Bella's Fusion is Mexican Caribbean fusion restaurant. They just recently just opened a lounge area for hookah and vibes and the space is beautiful! They offer different hookah options, even a led light add on. I also like that you can see them cooking some of the menu items it's you sit at the bar. When I visited I had the chips/guac, Caribbean burger, Jerk Chicken flatbread, and sweet potato fries. Everything I tried on their was sooooo good I can't wait to come back here again and try their other menu items. They have Margarita Monday, Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour specials! Came to enjoy the happy hour special. There are only 10 -12 seats along the bar. Sat for several minutes before I was offered a menu, finally I had to ask for one. No mention of happy hour until I asked it's also not on the menu. It's verbalized when your ask about it. The regular menu is made up of maybe let's say 30 Items, and almost half of the menu items say coming soon??? It makes no sense if they don't have the items available just leave them off the menu, I've actually never seen that at any restaurant before. Drinks are mainly sour mix, juice and ice, even for happy hour prices your not actually getting delicious well made drinks, I tasted no alcohol. Service is slow and not attentive. Finally my order is taken, the kitchen is open so we can see the chef cooking. The food sat for several minutes once coming off the grill and getting garnish. These were some of the worst tacos I have ever had. Tortillas tasted dry and stale, meats and seafood in the tacos were dry no natural juices left in them garnishes were cut to big to fit inside the small tacos. Guacamole was fresh but had no taste. Wish I could say the food was seasoned well but it was not. There was no fusion element... The steak tacos came with Ai sauce for dipping which made no sense. Overall I wouldn't come back, the only redeeming qualities were the bathroom was nice and clean and the gold bar chairs were nice. For $50 dollars that was beyond disappointing. I huge waste of time and money go to Suede (which also isn't amazing, but the drinks are way better) or Footprints which is a neighborhood staple, with a long wait but consistently decent food. read more

Top notch food very large variety to choose from wait staff was amazing and very attentive, with great hookah that's definitely bussing! I was excited to try this place because of tik tok. I was highly disappointed. The music was the only thing that was good. The drinks were nasty it tasted like they used cheap liquor. As far as the food I ordered buffalo wings which tasted like frozen chicken thank god for bleu cheese. I also ordered lamb chops, salmon and Rasta pasta. The lamb chops were dry and lacked seasoning. The salmon was over cooked and the pasta was hard and not flavorful. I did not try the hookah because judging from the other guest it did not look like it was good. For reference, I saw an ad for Bella's Fusion on Instagram and the food looked good, actually it is what convinced me to go. To my surprise there was only 10 seats along the bar and it is true that you are sitting for awhile before someone comes and offers to take your order. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was noted that they were a "new restaurant". However, my feelings have changed after a horrible experience. I asked for a rum punch (alcoholic beverage) and they didn't have any, so I asked what alcoholic beverages did they have. According to the waiter, there was no "drink menu" but they were able to make whatever "we asked for". That should have been a red flag there since they create prices for drinks because they do not have a "drink menu". When the waiter couldn't explain a drink she had just made for someone else, I decided to not order any drinks and to proceed with my meal. So I asked for an oxtail flatbread and they said they didn't have that. Although I was annoyed, I ordered the chicken lollipops instead (regular- not jerk chicken as well as regular fries). They messed up on the chicken and had to remake it and they gave me yuca fries and not regular fries (which I specifically asked for). What was more upsetting is the complete lack of disregard, there was no apology for the food being messed up nor was there an apology for the food taking so long. They charged me $14.95 for a meal and I only ate the chicken (& there was barely meat on the bone). When this was brought up to the waiter, she said that it was noted on the menu (Yuca fries). After showing her the menu where it says "regular fries" she asked management to intervene who I believe is called (Bella). She said she would take $4.00 off for the fries. $4.00?!!! that is insane! Not only does the service suck but they are overpriced and make prices up as they go. I heard them make a price up for another customer who wasn't too far from us. They also charged my boyfriend $20.00 per shot (a henny shot at that)-we could have bought a HENNESSY bottle. Our food alone was worth $50-so why was our bill $135.00.
