Overall this place has a great atmosphere and great wine. The price point is excellent and the service was really good as well from Chris the bartender. One cautionary word would be when you pay for your winetasting upfront they're going to ask if you would like to tip. The chip does not go to the bartender. It goes to the lady sitting up front swiping your credit card doing nothing else. Just a FYI this is the kind of shady stuff that makes people leery of recommending your establishment.

I was hoping to be able to give more than two stars review to this place. I have tried it three times now and I am not impressed. They do serve free homemade chips and a garlic aioli that is pretty good. My husband liked the steak sandwich they have on the menu the first time, second time was not that good. I ordered the burger last time and it was RAW, I have asked for medium rare but what I got was RAW meat. This last time we ordered the burger again medium well and it RAW again, not a fun way to eat a burger. The French fries were not crispy or golden looking, they were white. I have ordered the Thai chicken wings, they are coated with a reduction of soy sauce, so they look black when served, not appealing to the eyes. Service is OK at best, they go through staff frequently. So this place is not consistent and they need to change their menu with other choices. Too bad because the red wines at this winery are very good.

    Chocolate lava cake..

My husband & I came here on a Sunday afternoon. This place was a pleasant surprise. The location on top of the hill overlooking the hills of Temecula is incredible! You could dine outside or picnic across the way and listen to live music. This was all a plus because we came to try out the food, my husband & I are foodies. We had the Burgers with Parmesan Truffle Fries. This was no ordinary Burger, this definitely was one of the best burgers I have ever had. We will come back and it will be hard not to reorder the burger but I want to try other dishes they have to offer. I had desert... The Chocolate lava cake was all gone! It was rich but not overly sweet. We will be back but next time we are bringing our friends.

Great venue. Constant breeze...love the shade trees. Views are exceptional. The band, Billy Watson is a favorite. Let us know when they play again, we're in.

    Beautiful vines!

I bought a Groupon deal and am very pleased with the service and food. I even joined the wine club! The wine is excellent! I had the seared Ahi sandwich, cajun fries and the Shrimp appetizer. Everything tasted great and it was above and beyond my expectations so I will be back to try more.... also, the wine here is better than all of the wineries I have tried thus far....

Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! There's a mimosa station when you arrive, wine tastings in the main building, cabana-style seating on the lawn, and tables and chairs almost everywhere you look. They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!

SERVICE: Jalynne, our Leoness hostess, is a consummate (and cheerful) professional. After her informative, concise overview of Leonesses offerings, we opted (as the vast number of guests there) for the "brunch" buffet. Despite the guest-crush, all staffers we encountered were knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and good listeners. Qualities which made our visit an absolute pleasure! FOOD: All selections we had - customized omelets; other eggs; prime rib; shrimp cocktail; mahi-mahi; multiple potato preparations; waffles; salads; fresh-cut fruits: all quite tasty, fresh and adequate. WINES: Once we were ready to munch and sip, - aside from our main beverages - we experienced a memorable (member's) wine tasting. WOW! curated by Jalynne, her presentations were well-timed and just paired perfectly with our food choices - Jalynne can conduct her way through an orchestra of food ... incredible! Our non-sommelier judgement? Their wines are superb! AMBIENCE: The external and interior layouts, the views, the tasting room/store area all are beautiful - interiors are well designed and quite ergonomically laid out. Leoness, it appears you are taking care of business and your staff - they are taking care of you!

Upon arrival, the property checked one of my requirement boxes: paved parking. I cannot tolerate parking in dirt that removes the shine on my tires and rims. After some confusion, I finally arrived at the correct tasting room for non-members and began my tasting with assistance from Eric, a fine young gentleman who offered to guide me through my journey. He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same. The property is very large, and well-maintained, and also hosts a distillery, somewhat hidden in the form of a speakeasy of sorts. Didn't partake, but intend to return in the future to sample. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will give some thought to joining their membership. Great views atop the hill, and a mellow vibe. Thank you Eric! Great customer service.

The must try dishes for me were the Salmon&Ahi Crudo, as well as the ceviche. Both plates were quite refreshing, but watch out for the spiciness! The sweet and spicy crudo was set inside of a toasted coconut with some chips to enjoy alongside the fish. The ceviche also came with some chips, but had a more savory and citrus taste. We got 2 entrees, the Linguini De Mariscos and and the Pot Pie Espanol. Both dishes were quite rich. The linguini dish had lobster, scallops, and shrimp. The pot pie dish had filet mignon, lobster, and bone marrow. The flaky crust was definitely memorable. As for service, Phillip was great. He had recommended a rosé to go along with my dish. I was looking for a sweet wine, but they were out that day. Once we received our check, we had a bit of a wait since a large party needed their order taken. Other than that, the service was great, out water was constantly getting filled by the attentive staff.
