I have given them a couple tries over the year they have been opened. They do have some great staff that is excellent at designs but... BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $10 to peel/rip your old acrylic set off and if you complain and say it hurts and that you don't want your nail layers to be RIPPED they then offer you a warm bowl of acetone for you to dunk your hands in...mind you-they don't care that it dries out your skin. Oh-let's not forget that the warm bowl of acetone is an additional $15 compared to charging you $10 to RIP them off. I would say do them yourself but to each their own... My nail tech today complained about how thick the acrylic was on my nail, maam you need to have a talk with your coworkers because that was all them. Complaining to me how thick it is and "it take long time to take off*ugh*". That's not my fault, I'm a returning customer. I requested my cuticles to be cleaned at the beginning of my service. 1-it had been a while and they were looking nasty 2-I wanted a cleaner acrylic lay edge to the lunula of my nail/cuticle instead of it touching my cuticles like last time and causing lift... I mentioned it 4 times and she didn't clean them til AFTER the acrylic was laid down and shaped. $10 extra charge for cuticles and the owner had the audacity to argue with me when I asked why the cuticle removing was done after the acrylic. I calmly explained to owner that "I didn't know that. Now I do." But he continued to go on about how "nail salons don't do that anymore! It's been YEARS since they trim cuticle" I called 4 other salons in the area-yes they charge $4-7 for cuticle care BUT ITS DONE BEFORE ACRYLIC TO PREVENT LIFTING. Now-to my Mom's nails. She was convinced to try out GelX and let's just say she is not happy. There is a HUGE gap between her nail and the "press on" causing food, gardening materials and other things to get stuck inside. My mom stressed the fact of how she likes to stay clean and originally just wanted a regular manicure, especially since she is always typing on her work computer.

I think this place has fake reviews. Yeah they give you a little water bottle, but so what?? My gel pedicure chipped within a month and I felt like it was the quickest pedicure I had ever revived even after upgrading from the basic pedi. They didn't throughly clean or shape my nails from how I shaped them prior & the paint job itself was no better than when I do my own nails. Will not be returning.

I've been going to VY for over two years, and he completely saved my nails after they were botched and my nails are consistently on point. Every appointment is worth every penny. My retention is incredible they last at least a month without any issues. I highly recommend bee nails and Vy to anyone looking for quality work and beautiful, long lasting nails!!! The salon is clean and has a nice feel to it.

This nail salon is the greatest in Riverside! So clean and beautiful with wonderful staff! You will not be disappointed. From the moment you walk in you are greeted right away and not kept waiting for a technician. For the handful of times l've been here, all the technicians do wonderful work and are so gentle, friendly and accommodating with great attention to detail. I was very excited to try this nail salon out it was very nice inside, but unfortunately they don't listen to the clients. I asked for dip on my nails and they did the gel and less than a week. It was peeling and lifting when I went back, a gentleman approached me basically accusing me of using my hands too much and not keeping them under the UV light long enough and I said that's not my job and I don't know anybody that doesn't use their hands a lot. Unfortunately I will not be returning. They charged me $145 plus tip for a pedicure and gel nails that I did not want that ended up lifting less than a week.

I've been holding off with this review but even almost 2 weeks later, small little everyday chores have become a reminder of this painful experience so here we go. First off, the salon is beautiful and the two owners seem amazing. Request them if you can. Was intrigued and excited to learn a new spot with only raving reviews for the owners had opened up near Orangecrest. I had been out of town for a while and my go to gal wasn't available so I called on a weekday afternoon and was able to book an appt for later on that day which was perfect. Once I arrived I was sent over to have my pedicure done by an older lady and my structured gel manicure by a younger gentleman with a mask on. (Noting this as he was severely sniffling the entire time, my husband had allergies which flare up during the spring season so I assumed this was due to that but obviously this did not add to a relaxing time as we were pretty much less than a ft next to each other for the entire duration). As for the work, during my manicure the tech used only* a drill to remove the previous polish, destroyed my 100% healthy nails my nail gal helps to keep strong, gave burn marks and scratch abrasions all along the skin surrounding the base of the nails from filing at weird angles, filed multiple so incorrectly on the sides I now have extreme pain in multiple fingers from the sides of the nail digging into the skin as no proper clean up was done (hangnail galore T_T), and even completely shaved one nail down almost completely raw. Worst one is the pointer finger which he put on 5X the amount of structured gel polish he should have, causing it to drip down my finger then again rushed to dry it in that state! At that point the lady tech even started speaking up in Vietnamese which he then ended up shushing her then shaving this nail down so hard, there was literally a divot*** but before I could say something he then immediately filled the hole with the polish so that I wouldn't notice. This act alone should have had me ask for someone new immediately so definitely was a learning experience as I had never had anyone do work like this. Either way I kept having pain whether he was drilling or having me dry the polish causing me to intuitively yank my hand back from the sudden heat/shock of pain but the young male tech continuously kept rushing through and made me feel uncomfortable and not the experience I was expecting for $120ish + 20% tip. In the end a lot of these took over 1.5 weeks to heal and some are still in the process. On top of that, the left hand which was being yanked over to my right side to "get done" had polish all the way up to the skin once finished. Entire structured gel manicure was also done at the pedicure massage chair with no pillow in lap, just being pulled in one direction to get them done - until one of the owners came over and attempted to get me more comfortable at the end of my appointment. Again, the owners themselves seem so lovely and I had a nice interaction with one of them and from the photos/reviews I can see, their work IS quality. But my experience was not it and there's no way I would feel comfortable bringing my friends if this was my experience from this employee at the very least. Super unfortunate since if I did have one of the owners as my technician maybe at least one of the careless/endless mistakes would not have been made.

Love love this shop! It's beautiful and clean inside. I had initially reached out via Yelp and they answered super quickly and got me set up with an appointment. I believe Stevey worked on me first and he is very comfortable with ingrown nails. I can't pretend it wasn't uncomfortable, but he dealt with them swiftly and very well! He's super nice and has great energy. If I'm correct, Ivan finished up and he did an awesome job. I got the Princess Bee pedi and it was amazing. I had all these things that I can't fully remember lol. But there was some sort of machine with steam, scrubs, lotions, a foot mask, and a little heated neck pillow. I was even given this little goody bag, which was such a sweet touch. I will be back again . read more

This is my second time trying this place. The techs are very good at their work, however, their prices are ridiculous for being in the IE. I get the same, beautiful work in Newport and the prices are less. The owners are not very friendly, they definitely show favoritism towards different races. Not sure I'll ever come back. Just be aware of the prices and additional fees that they charge just to use your card. An additional $4 paying with card vs using Zelle or Venmo. I paid $189 today - insane. read more

This nail salon was recommended to me by a friend. I had a wonderful experience when I went to try it out. They did an excellent job on my gel mani/pedi. The results were beautiful and it didn't take a long time. They have lasted well (no chipping or peeling) and I've gotten several compliments on them. The staff were very friendly and personable. Lots of laughter and fun conversations in the salon. It was also very clean well maintained. They gave me the best foot rub I've had in years! Very relaxing and good pressure. Do not skip the foot rub, if you have the opportunity. I'm looking forward to going back! read more

I got my nails done here with Liam he was amazing !!! So I returned for a pedicure with my husband excited for it unfortunately we were very disappointed my husbands feet were left shedding skin nails uneven my nails were not filed evenly my corners were not trimmed my polish had air bubbles my toes are filed very square with out trim on sides hurts when I walk very disappointed I thought I had found my go to place for both services read more

Nice please, nice people. Very rushed. Everything was rush rush rush and they were not that busy. My Pedi with scrub, lotion, callus removal, not the basic but not the deluxe too lagit not even 30min. I had gel on before and I know they use a Dremel to removal but it was so rough and hurt. The tech was nice, but everything was just not relaxing at all just get out of here and rush rush. Even the payment was all rushed and get out of here. Unfortunately, I won't be back, I'll go back to my regular lady up the street. read more

My husband and I decided to stop by on Sunday after church for a pedicure and as soon as we walked in we were greeted and taken to our seats and offered something to drink. Nicky took care of me and Julia took care of my husband, they both did a fantastic job really cleaning the nails and scrubbing your feet. They both were very friendly and kind. We got the Fabulous treatment and was worth the price. Would definitely recommend Been Nails and I would say to ask for Nicky or Julia but honestly they all seemed very nice read more

The place was nice and new. However, I went to Bee's Nails recently and unfortunately had a very concerning experience. During my appointment, the technician cut into my natural nail and surrounding skin so deeply that it began bleeding heavily. Instead of stopping, they continued working on the area and even poured acetone over the open wound, which caused severe stinging and discomfort. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this felt unsafe and left me worried about possible infection. Nail services should always be gentle and sanitary, especially when a client's natural nail or skin is compromised. I'm sharing this not to be unkind, but to hopefully encourage better care and awareness in the future. read more

Pros- clean, welcoming, lots of color choices. Cons: Pricing- $55 for builder gel fill. You'd assume trimming of cuticles and surrounding area will be included- NOPE! That's an extra $10- and you get a less than one minute hand (finger) soaking, cuticle remover, and trimming. DO NOT think you're getting a massage or even lotion for that matter, you'll have to ask for that and rub it in yourself. You'd think ok $65- nope was charged $70. Where the extra $5 came from you ask.... I don't know! Maybe the lotion I rubbed in myself? If you want chrome finish $10 more. If you want to use card to pay $4 more. Oh and because you use card, you don't get any stamps on their card- that's only for cash paying clients. So for two builder gel fill/full set, one with chrome was a total of $154.... I don't know but this seems excessive for not even manicures.... Second con is the polish on my nails is uneven. Is it because there wasn't enough polish or what?? But when you get neon nails and you're able to see through, I'd say something is wrong.... I really want to like this place but this is my second time here and I feel some sort of way about it... read more

Made my day! I decided to try this place and I am so happy I did. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Liam took his time and shaped my nails beautifully! I brought my daughter along and we had a very nice experience. I got a bougie bee pedicure (very relaxing, thanks Kim) an almond shaped full set with Gel and my daughter got gel polish on her nails and regular polish on her toes. And I paid a total of $138. We left happy! read more

I came to this place prior and had a good experience. I only come for my pedicures. I get my gel x by a personal friend because that is my preference. Today I had a pedicure schedule and one gel x nail broke and I asked if they can replace the one nail when I checked in. When I did that the gentlemen at check in said they don't repair other people's work. Which I wasn't asking to repair I was asking to replace the nail!I was more than willing to pay for my nail to be fixed. However, he said they don't. Then he changed his reason that they are busy with appointments. So I asked him which reason is it. And he said we are busy with appointments. It's one nail to fix. It would take 10-15 minutes at best but he didn't want to. Now the lady who did my pedicure did it very fast. She barely cleaned my cuticles. When I made my appointment I gave them my phone number and they had someone else's name and birthday attached to it. I am not sure why that happened since I have come her prior. Now i have to go to another salon to get it fixed. As im writing this there are 5 nail techs that are free and they took a walk in. This is very unprofessional. Had it been multiple nails or asking for more services that would take 30 minutes plus then i understand! But its one nail. Needless to say I will not be retuning unfortunately. read more

This shop is beautiful, had a great vibe and listened to me, until I sat down. The owners sat me with the tech who when I was explaining the color I wanted for my base said out loud ," whatever" and instead of leaving I stayed ( my fault) only to leave with lumpy, uneven horribly airbrushed nails, when I asked for a simple pink and white ombre. 4 times she nicked me with the drill and today I have scabs on my cuticle. I left but after showing my nails to my daughters I went back in to share that they looked awful. The color was running , streaking and bubbly. The front desk offered to repaint, but these hands are in need of an entire new set. I've never been so embarrassed of my nails. read more

Normally, I don't question the techniques of workers at nail salons, but at some point, I literally had to pull my hand back because of how much she was hurting me. I'm sure the other services here are great. Just don't request a nail removal from here. I still had to pay full price despite the pain and how chipped my nails were.

I've been coming to this salon for nearly 7 months and have always genuinely loved the work, the quality, and the kindness of the staff. I've never had any complaints and have always made sure to thank and compliment my nail tech for doing such a beautiful job every time. Unfortunately, my experience today was very upsetting. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told by I believe his name is Stevie that the nail tech did not feel comfortable doing my nails because I was "too particular." I was completely caught off guard because I always ask for a simple square set with one color, and I've never been rude or difficult. The only time I came back was when several nails broke within a day -- which had never happened before. That is not normal for Bee's Nail Spa work, as their nails are usually very strong and of excellent quality. I requested the fix because I believed in their work, and even offered to pay for it. They were kind enough not to charge me, and I left happy and thankful. I also want to add that I rarely ask for adjustments. The work is usually excellent. The only times I ever do is politely requesting minor changes, like if a nail feels too thick or a French tip is a little uneven. I always ask respectfully because I care about the final result -- that's part of being a client, and it's part of being a nail tech. Asking for small adjustments is not disrespectful, and it is not being "too particular," despite what Stevie said. Today, when I politely asked for clarification about what "too particular" meant, Stevie immediately became argumentative. I wasn't trying to argue -- I was just confused and wanted to understand what he meant. He kept repeating that he couldn't force the nail tech to provide service, even though that wasn't what I was asking at all. The whole interaction left me feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and honestly, very hurt. I don't want to attack anyone -- I've had nothing but positive experiences here up until now -- but I do think the situation could have been handled with more kindness and professionalism. I left feeling humiliated for no reason, and that truly broke my heart after being a loyal and respectful client. read more

I had a play date planned with my three nieces and decided to take them to Bee Nails instead of their usual salon, since I had previously enjoyed my experiences here. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing! My 11-year-old niece got a basic gel manicure with a design. It was not acrylic, not gel builder, just regular gel polish, and we were charged \$95 plus tip. To put this into perspective, I got a new Gel-X set with 3D art for the same price. My pedicure with gel polish was \$45, which I happily tipped $20 for because the pedicurist did a great job. The pricing for my niece's manicure made absolutely no sense. What bothered me even more was the behavior of the staff. While my nieces waited for me to finish my pedicure, my 11-year-old niece noticed, and my other nieces confirmed, that two manicurists were pointing at her and snickering multiple times. She is a child. For adults to behave that way toward an 11-year-old is unacceptable. My niece is usually very confident, but no child should ever feel ridiculed in a place that is supposed to be fun and welcoming. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning to Bee Nails. No business should make a child feel mocked, or charge \$95 for a basic gel manicure. read more

OBSESSED. Stevie and his crew are everything! The vibes and energy here are hands down the best I've ever experienced at a nail salon, it's seriously my new nail home. They're so up to date on everything trendy and have every design and color you could imagine. I'm absolutely obsessed with the cat's eye look, and every time I go in, they make sure to bring me all the options for my next color choice. They just get it every single time. I can't give Bee Nails enough credit--they are hands down the best salon in Orangecrest. The vibe is incredible: welcoming, friendly, and just an all-around great place to relax. Not only do they do high-quality work, but they also stay on top of the latest trends, which I really appreciate. I personally go to Bee, and she does an amazing job on my Gel-X every time--it always lasts and looks flawless. And the pedicures are consistently amazing no matter who you see. I've been coming to Bee Nails since they first opened, and they never disappoint! Everyone here is incredibly talented and truly knows what they're doing. My husband and I always treat ourselves to the Princess Bee pedicure--it's our favorite--and I also get builder gel on my nails every time. They consistently do a phenomenal job with all of our services. On top of that, the shop is always spotless and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
