I've been coming to this salon for nearly 7 months and have always genuinely loved the work, the quality, and the kindness of the staff. I've never had any complaints and have always made sure to thank and compliment my nail tech for doing such a beautiful job every time. Unfortunately, my experience today was very upsetting. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told by I believe his name is Stevie that the nail tech did not feel comfortable doing my nails because I was "too particular." I was completely caught off guard because I always ask for a simple square set with one color, and I've never been rude or difficult. The only time I came back was when several nails broke within a day -- which had never happened before. That is not normal for Bee's Nail Spa work, as their nails are usually very strong and of excellent quality. I requested the fix because I believed in their work, and even offered to pay for it. They were kind enough not to charge me, and I left happy and thankful. I also want to add that I rarely ask for adjustments. The work is usually excellent. The only times I ever do is politely requesting minor changes, like if a nail feels too thick or a French tip is a little uneven. I always ask respectfully because I care about the final result -- that's part of being a client, and it's part of being a nail tech. Asking for small adjustments is not disrespectful, and it is not being "too particular," despite what Stevie said. Today, when I politely asked for clarification about what "too particular" meant, Stevie immediately became argumentative. I wasn't trying to argue -- I was just confused and wanted to understand what he meant. He kept repeating that he couldn't force the nail tech to provide service, even though that wasn't what I was asking at all. The whole interaction left me feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and honestly, very hurt. I don't want to attack anyone -- I've had nothing but positive experiences here up until now -- but I do think the situation could have been handled with more kindness and professionalism. I am a regular at Bee Nails & Spa in Riverside, CA, and I couldn't be happier with every experience! From the first time I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and organized the space was. The staff greeted me with warmth and friendliness, making me feel right at home. They only use top-notch products and have a wonderful selection. I had a play date planned with my three nieces and decided to take them to Bee Nails instead of their usual salon, since I had previously enjoyed my experiences here. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing! My 11-year-old niece got a basic gel manicure with a design. It was not acrylic, not gel builder, just regular gel polish, and we were charged \$95 plus tip. To put this into perspective, I got a new Gel-X set with 3D art for the same price. My pedicure with gel polish was \$45, which I happily tipped $20 for because the pedicurist did a great job. The pricing for my niece's manicure made absolutely no sense. What bothered me even more was the behavior of the staff. While my nieces waited for me to finish my pedicure, my 11-year-old niece noticed, and my other nieces confirmed, that two manicurists were pointing at her and snickering multiple times. She is a child. For adults to behave that way toward an 11-year-old is unacceptable. My niece is usually very confident, but no child should ever feel ridiculed in a place that is supposed to be fun and welcoming. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning to Bee Nails. No business should make a child feel mocked, or charge \$95 for a basic gel manicure. read more

OBSESSED. Stevie and his crew are everything! The vibes and energy here are hands down the best I've ever experienced at a nail salon, it's seriously my new nail home. They're so up to date on everything trendy and have every design and color you could imagine. I'm absolutely obsessed with the cat's eye look, and every time I go in, they make sure to bring me all the options for my next color choice. They just get it every single time. The whole team is amazing! I've even had two people working on me at once (one on nails, one on my pedicure) just to make sure I'm in and out quickly. They're super efficient and always do what they can to stick to the schedule and not fall behind, even with so many appointments coming in and out throughout the day, yet they still deliver flawless results every single time. However, l'd recommend making an appointment during peak hours to avoid waiting. The environment was so warm and welcoming, and I absolutely adored their bee-themed decor.
