The first was a hive of African or Africanized bees on a trail a distance from our house we came across. 3 of our children were stung by the aggressive hive. After noticing bees we contacted Travis based on his reviews of live bee/hive removal. He came out on June 22 and saw where the bees were located on my house and said he could remove the bees and made an appointment for him to do the job the next day. He text when he was finished and wrote, "They are a little irritated. It'll take 24 to 48 hours for everything to be gone." I asked if he took any pictures to which he replied, "No pictures were taken. You're not able to see into that space. They were aggressive so we will not be relocating this guy." When I returned home I found many dead bees on the driveway and on the roof. I called Travis and he said he would return in 2 days to clean up the dead bees. When I went out front of my house June 24 I not only found more dead bees but a river of honey dripping down the roof and my driveway. I again text Travis to let him know the situation. His reply, "Wow. That is crazy. I've never seen honey it run like that." He returned to the house and stated that the hive was bigger than he thought and that we now needed a removal at the cost of $1,200 to start. He also commented that he did not fully see where the bees were or how big the hive was before he sprayed the area. He admitted that had he actually looked at the situation he would have a different plan of action. Because of that lack of properly accessing the situation we now have an even bigger job and bill to go with it. We agreed to having him do the further work but when his scheduling allowed. When he showed up, he looked around my backyard and told me there's no nest, the bees were on the grass, around the sprinklers, most likely drinking water, and they are around because they most likely have a nest near by, but not on our premises, and they are here just because of the season and weather.
