I don't usually give reviews. But I truly believe some businesses are deserving when they provide a service that exemplifies such a high standard of work ethics. I began to notice dead bees on the ground on the side of my home over a three week period. After some searching and estimates from two other bee removal companies, I was referred to Bee Guy Travis. To my surprise Bee Guy Travis came highly recommended by another bee removal company, so I looked no further. I called Bee Guy Travis and received a call back with a same day appointment to get the scope of job and provide an estimate. Travis explained his findings, the scope of job and details on how the job would be done. He informed me he would provide pictures showing stages of hive removal and the process of structural replacement. The work was done in two phases within the week. Thanks Bee Guy Travis- My neighbor alerted me to a hive located in the upper eave of my two-story home. I called three different companies understanding that these situations are better dealt with sooner rather than later. One company was a national call center who wanted to sub contract the job out and the operator was unable to answer any of my questions. The second company asked me to take pictures and text them because they were too busy to come to my home for a proper assessment. They then quoted me an outrageous price based on photos taken on my cell phone, from my neighbors' driveway, looking two-stories up. "Bee Guy Travis" answered my call personally! "Bee Guy Travis" was on another job, but showed up at my house within two hours of my call for an estimate! Unfortunately, an early rainstorm blew in causing cessation of all hive activity when he arrived. "Bee Guy Travis" came back the next morning and removed the hive and guaranteed his work! I noticed a large number of bees when I was mowing the lawn, and didn't notice until later there was a hive. Since the bees were so docile and didn't swarm when I was within inches with my mower, I figured they must have been honeybees and didn't want them exterminated. I looked online for bee relocation, and was quoted numerous price values that seemed outrageous for removing a hive that wasn't even invading our home. Then I found Travis, who quoted me a reasonable price, and he came out next day to remove the bees. Travis was very friendly and prompt and removed the hive within minutes. This will be my first and probably only Yelp review. The reason for this review is simple....if any of you know where I am coming from you will know that bee's and Wives do not mix! My Wife had a surprise encounter while trying to leave work with some bee's that decided to take a rest in the wheel well of our Silverado. Of course, she called me in a panic and I have never had to deal with this sort of issue so I did my due diligence and did some online research (as quickly as I could with a panicking wife) and came across Travis. I had no idea bees had swarmed in my attic until a few scouts came wandering through my house. I called Travis and even though it was his day off and he was out enjoying his weekend, he took my call and scheduled a time to come take a look. He discovered roughly 4,000 bees forming a hive in my attic and was able to safely remove them within 30 minutes of arriving at my house. He made sure to quickly remove the few stragglers that came down into my house as well and was cleaned up and gone in less than 45 minutes after arriving. We noticed bees starting to congregate around chimney opening which had recently fallen off. They started getting down the chimney into our house. We discovered a bee swarm or hive in our pepper tree last Saturday. I was referred to Travis by our Bug Guy for bee removal. I was not disappointed. I called him this morning and said he could be here within an hour to assess my situation for free. He arrived in an hour with Nick & they took a look & then quoted me what sounded like a reasonable price to do a Live Bee removal & then Nick got to work. Bees! Lots of em! Yesterday there was a big swarm outside the back door surrounding my rose bush, then they settled on the posts under the balcony. Wanted to get the eves of my house painted , but we had a recent bee nest in one corner of the house. Travis came out right away and took care of the issue.
