    Filet mignon Sandwich Bauru

Had the best lunch at Beco. Place is elite. Service was top notch. Delicious steak sandwich. Will 100% be back!

I looooove Brazilian bread so it's no surprise that I loved the pão de queijo here. It was so fresh and dense, but still nice and chewy. The cheese is a bit salty but the bread is still delicious plain this way--but adding the guava jam changes the palette by making it sweet and still so yummy. I would definitely return just for this. For my entree I tried their prato vegetariano and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the pão de queijo. I found it pretty plain for my liking, but that might be because I prefer stronger flavors. But I think this is good for breakfast or when you want something lighter in flavor as this was still pretty filling.

I'm sure I've had Brazilian food at some place or time in my life, but I just can't remember? Maybe it was in some fusion restaurant or some restaurant that blended this cuisine with a certain area of South America, but either way, I sure had Brazilian food today at this lovely restaurant called Beco (Brazilian Portuguese for alley). Beco was the "Real Deal" experience with this fantastic cuisine. Everything on the menu was strange, different but exciting which made this all the more interesting. The three of us diners jumped into their menu and we let the chips fall where they may! And those chips landed in a very good place: * The Pao De Queijo was a traditional Brazilian cheese bread with a sweet dipping sauce * Auru is a popular Brazilian sandwich. This sandwich had cheese melted in a bain-marie, slices of roast beef, tomato and pickled cucumber * Their Açaí Bowl was this very healthy serving of cold sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries & house granola. It was refreshing and delicious. Beco's service and ambience was great which made this lunch fun and exhilarating. We all loved Beco in Brooklyn today!

I've been listening to a lot of Cartola lately, which ended up serving as the perfect appetizer to dinner at what I firmly believe is the best Brazilian restaurant in the city, located on a somewhat desolate street of Northeast Williamsburg. Start with the pao de quiejo: an easy choice sure, and here served piping hot with a perfectly subtle guava jam that straddles the line between sweet and savory. For a main, the vegetarian moqueca expertly deploys hearts of palm to create a seafoody texture. The best part of the platter? Not the excellent coconut stew, but the piquant pickled peppers and farofa that elevate any platter here to the next level.

Cute little Brazilian spot that makes you feel right at home. Everything felt just right at this place. I had the coxihna and a cocktail, and everything was authentic and tasted incredible. The service was fast; my waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was cute and chic, but I chose to enjoy the patio. 10/10, I would go out of my way to come back.

Wow!! Such an amazing gem tucked away in a little corner in Williamsburg! I've eaten a lot of Brazilian food growing up and this is such a great authentic place you've gotta try. The food was super fresh, honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The cheese bread is made to order which means it comes out hot and fresh every time! Everyone who works here is so so sweet and very helpful, seriously some of the best service I've had in a while. The restaurant feels so authentic and homey and just overall such a great time. Please give this spot a go! Brazilian food is one of my all time favs!!

Authentic in every sense of the word. Wouldn't have noticed this little gem if it wasn't for a friend that lived in the area. Cheese bread is a must. Almost like a mochi texture. The guava jam they give you is nice. Can't pass up an acai bowl when you're dining at a Brazilian restaurant. Empanadas are huge, crispy and very tasty. Steak and eggs cooked perfectly. Rice and beans were flavorful. Place can be packed but all full of local Brazilians so you know it must be good.

Came here with some friends for a weekend brunch without much expectation. We had the option to sit inside or outside, so we opted for the outside seating because it was a little bit quieter. The service was okay, our waiter kept our water filled. The food was a little lackluster, considering for the price. The frozen drink was 15 bucks and it came in a tiny little cup. I don't think there was any booze in it tbh, so I would skip this... For the entree, I ordered the Bife a Cavalo. The steak was kind of bland; I thought the chimichurri was going to help it but even that was lacking in flavor. The food wasn't bad, but for 25 dollars for the dish... I really expected more. But the waiter didn't rush us after we finished eating, so I appreciate that. Overall, I think this place has potential and it's a great place to catch up with friends but there are better options in Williamsburg

Beco is a great spot. There is ample outdoor dining space and the food is really delicious. First time, I came for brunch and had a delectable version of Eggs Benedict (Eggs Florentine) The second time I was here, we split some empañadas and the Bauru sandwich. The empanadas were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The bauru was served on the most beautifully aesthetic baguette and the steak was undoubtedly delectable. The staff is super friendly and attentive here and it is always a nice vibe dining on the sidewalk café. I look forward to returning here.

Beco is delicious! I stopped by for lunch yesterday and we had the best caipirinhas (one was regular lime and the other was pineapple mint) - only note is that they could serve these in larger glasses, as mine was mainly ice. Their brunch menu was great though - has a mix of traditional Brazilian and American dishes. We got the coxhina (perfection with a little bit of their guava jam), eggs benny, and ham sandwich with eggs on top. Will definitely be back!

The Filet Mignon sandwich was good! The bread particularly. I do think it could benefit from a bit more flavor, but was very tender. The side salad that came with it though was literally just a container of raw spinach. Nothing else. When the sandwich and a side salad is $17.00, I do expect an actual side salad. Also, I ordered the side of salsa, which for $4.00 I did expect to come with chips. Instead I received just a 1/4 full small cup of salsa. For the price vs return, it was a bit disappointing.

Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind.
