For a very long time, I would drive past this establishment and never thought to stop in. I came for a work golfing event, and we ended up getting refreshments at Beck's Prime. Honestly, the food was really good, I was pleasantly surprised. The Dr. Pepper hit the spot, but that baked potato... REALLY GOOD. It was my favorite part, along with the truffle fries. I didn't expect either to be that good! The place was clean overall. The bathrooms could use a little work, but everything else was great. I finally checked out this place since we were in the Houston area doing some business by the golf course. The staff here was very friendly and they were able to help us out to take our order. They have such a great, comprehensive menu and even though it's a bit pricey i do find many food items appetizing. Plenty of burgers and even their Fries Are pretty filling. We didn't go inside the building to get a sense of the vibe inside but I love the window where you can order your food for takeout and enjoy the scenery of the golf course. Most people probably go for the steak or a burger and fries which is what they're best known for and at first I was a little worried because I'm on my diet but it turns out they have healthy offerings too. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a great location. A Great place to catch some drinks or food after a round of golf I imagine. Or you can be like us and go there in lieu of jogging. Yes. But It's paid parking now. What's going on? The ribeye sandwich. I think the cashier called it "The Becks". It's been almost 30 years since I had one. It had a nice smokey flavor. But it was a bit on the thin side. What I really didn't like was that it was awfully salty. And this coming from someone who likes salty. Queso has a slight kick. Im not sure how we got the salsa. I think it comes with the chips. It was a bit bland. More on the sweet side than spicy. The thing I didn't care for the most were the chips. Chips were super greasy and just glistening. Like every piece. Even worse, they were also super stale and chewy. I think they chefs thought they could fry them long enough to make the staleness go away. They give you a lot and we ran out of queso/salsa before the chips. Small shake reminds me of a frosty. Really thick and hard to drink through a straw. Spoon is definitely required. Sodas - free refills! Brownie for being prepackaged was very moist and surprisingly good. We spent over fifty bucks for 2 sandwiches, chips/queso, a soda, a brownie, and a desert sized shake. 30 years ago I think it was like $7 for the ribeye sandwich. Now it's pushing $16. In his prime, Becks was one of the very best for both Manchester United and then Real Madrid. And of course the LA Cosmos or whatever they're called. But this isn't that. This is a popular steakhouse with a great location right here in Memorial Park, which we love. That it's here, anyway. I don't love the meals here and they're little expensive like most steakhouses, but what we do love is that they may have a the best spot for a restaurant in Houston history... this location in the park is amazing, so if we get absolutely starving and want a real proper sit down meal after a park work out here, it's right here. read more

I recently visited during last night's jog. I really didn't want to make dinner and this was a good excuse, ha! There is parking, which is also shared with the golf course and there are plenty of spaces available. The scenery for the outdoor seating was amazing! The food came out in about 10 minutes and you did have to ask for refills at the register, which is a bit annoying to me, but I am sure they have a reason behind it. The good thing was they did have sugar-free options, which is great if you don't want the added calories. SCORE! I had the chili t tasted like the burger meat, it was topped with cheese, topped with onions, but had no beans. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the chili. The Wendy's chili probably tastes better than this one. However, my boyfriend got a burger and that thing was amazing! I should have gotten one instead! FYI, you need to keep an eye out for the location as it's part of the clubhouse complex. The food is the same as any Becks location -- perfectly chargrilled burgers on an amazing egg bun that's the perfect intersection of challah and a hamburger bun. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection. The other perk to any Becks location is the service. While ordering for us, I ordered a large order of fries. I mentioned to the staff that we were going to split the fries. Without even asking, they asked if they could split our order into two baskets. The restaurant is on the edge of a golf course and shares a parking lot with the course. Note, the parking in the lot is paid parking. However, the amount is pretty negligible. Unless the price changes depending on the day (I went on a Saturday morning), the fee was $1/3 hrs. The location has indoor and outdoor seating. I went right before the CDC issued new guidance on mask wearing for vaccinated individuals, but when I went, masks were required for entrance into the restaurant. I'd say the food was pretty standard as any other Becks Prime location. I didn't know the chain had a breakfast menu, but apparently the do. I wasn't super impressed with the selection, but I'm not going to hold it against them - I don't think the chain is really about the breakfast here anyways. There were plenty of outdoor seating. The tables outside were round tables that seat 2-3 people comfortably and 4 if you want to squeeze it in. I'd say there were approximately 7-10 of such tables outside the restaurant. There were also a couple wooden chairs overlooking the course that one could sit at as well. The staff were nice and helpful. No complaints there. All in all, I'd say this would a good spot to come to for lunch or dinner with great views over the golf course if you were craving a burger. read more

Great location. I had a visitor from New York who had never been to Beck's before and this one is closest to me. Beautiful patio area and friendly employees. I was impressed with their poster of work anniversaries for their employees. They have some people who have been working there for 20+ years. I wasn't wanting anything too heavy, so I ordered a salad. My spicy wonton salad wasn't the best. I loved the crunchiness and spice of it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Bill's burger was pretty good, stacked with a lot within the burger. There are many birds that stalk your table if you eat outside and their milkshakes are the bomb! I have been a Becks Prime customer for like 30 years. Today I ordered via DoorDash from the Memorial location. I ordered a kirby salad with ahi tuna and a large lemonade. My lemonade came half full. The tuna was disgusting. I counted two tomatoes and 4 pecans in my salad. The dressing was good, so at least I could eat the greens that I paid $30 to have delivered. Someone told me they had the best burgers in town, and they weren't kidding. Huge, juicy, flavorful, with delicious buns. I ordered the eggs Benedict breakfast and cashier over charged, I brought it to her attention, so she re rung it up and still over charged.... I told her again it didn't add up, she didn't seem to care, I paid anyway. Got our food and was very disappointed, my eggs were fried scrambled instead of over easy, I didn't dare complain, since they had a didn't care attitude.
