This is definitely a home cooking place, in all the good and bad ways. Plenty of locals by appearances. The food is good and generous, service was a little confused, but maybe they're training people. Dining room a bit cramped, though tolerable. Friendly and trusting management. This was our first time eating breakfast at Becca's. We loved the food and could not believe the prices were actually affordable! All of the food came out fast and was delicious. When we paid at the register they asked us how it was, took our payment and then shook my husbands hand while thanking him for his business! Wow!!!! We felt like we were at home with family! We eat breakfast there at least twice a month. This small town eatery is owned by a great couple that work hard to put out really good food! The service is always top notch for us, most of the time we don't even have to tell them our order, as they already know what we will have! Staff is great, friendly, personable, attentive which is great cause the place is small, like one big living room w tables. Seems like regulars come in. Food was just ok. We needed a place to eat quick. The cornbeef hash is probably the worst I've ever had. It's like cat food with eggs on top. The over easy eggs were great, bacon is awesome, pancakes are ok, butter might be margarine, oatmeal is ok (ask for milk 'cause it's bland and dry), scrambled eggs are just ok, sausage and ham are good. The cook was right next to our table cooking away and to get to the bathrooms you have to squeeze by him and it's around by the dishwasher. He's cleaning while hopefully all you're doing is a #1. On day one of a four day visit, we asked our local nephew where to go for breakfast the next day. He immediately said that Becca's is the only place to go. He was right, in our four days in town, we had three meals at Becca's, two breakfasts and one lunch. Nothing fancy, but this is the place you always wish you could find while on the road. I'm able to listen and observe while I'm dining, and I can tell you, these people truly care about every single customer. They care about the quality of their food. They love it when locals stop in and they love it when tourists poke their heads in looking for a table. They support their local community. I've seen it first hand, year round. Becca's Cafe is a small diner in Central Anderson. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. A group of us from work (between 4 to 7)have started eating lunch at Becca's once a month for our Friday lunch. We have never been dissatisfied. Friendly staff. Marvin and Becca are great. Great Service, tasty food whether breakfast for lunch or a regular lunch. Large portions reasonable priced. I would rate them overall a ten out of five if i could. They have all sorts of memorabilia hanging on the walls showing their support for our military. If you see a bad review on here don't believe it. We will contunie our regular lunches here and enjoy the excellent meals. read more

If you're an out of towner passing through and looking for a good breakfast or brunch don't eat here. It seems only the locals like the food. It's evident when you walk in they don't have a clean hooded vent system when you walk in as you can smell every burnt bit of bacon grease leftover from the last order. You will leave here smelling like burnt oil. The cook has no clue how to make a medium rare steak, or sunny side up eggs. They seem to think the runny clear stuff on the egg is edible. If you send the food back for re-cooking the cook will come out to argue with you. And if you have a seat next to the kitchen you will see the caked on layers of grease on all the cooking equipment and all up the walls. I got food poisoning after eating here. Thankfully I don't live in that town. Don't waste your time or money. And whatever wasn't undercooked was extremely dry. read more

Absolutely delicious little cafe! I've eaten breakfast here several times and the food is so yummy. It's just like my Grammy used to cook on Sundays. Everyone works so hard and they're very attentive. There's always a wait because there's only about 10 tables but it's worth it. This place I was very excited to try since it was so busy. Very GROSS . My eggs I ordered over medium were so slimy I couldn't eat them . Also the steak that came with the eggs had so much salt seasoning on it I didn't know I was eating steak . My mouth was full of garlic salts and other seasoning that was so salty . The steak had a sour taste like it was soured. Then I was wanting low carb so I asked for fruit Instead of potatoes . Some people have bad experiences. I don't understand how they had it here. We didn't hear any kid saying "mom mom", we didn't have any bad service, the place wasn't closed. Staff was excellent. Refilled everything, kept watch on us, even boxed our food for us making sure we didn't lift a finger for anything. And portion of food is perfect for very hungry people and prices are very competitive. The biggest platter I saw in terms of quantity was only $9.99. For what I got, that was cheap. In LA I'd easily pay $17 for this food. No problem parking either. And it's in a nice quiet area. We like cozy little homey places too. This place isn't large but it's nice in here and atmosphere feels like being at someone's home. Everything was awesome! read more

Coffee, service excellent, Burger for 5 buck and fries was huge, maybe 1/2 pounder and All I needed for lunch, seating is family style, big table so people join ya and that was fun, met some regulars. Stopped in at closing today and they were kind enough to stay open for our party of 3 and never rushed us. My Becca burger was outstanding...bacon was crispy but not burnt, a very generous amount of avocado and almost too much cheese on that juicy, perfectly seasoned side of beef they call a burger patty. My husband really enjoyed his Marvin burger that comes with everything you want on a burger and so much more. The kids cheese burger comes with lettuce, tomato and pickles but unlike everywhere else, Becca's kids cheeseburger is a full size juicy burger. Another awesome lunch at Becca's. In the quaint town of Anderson this weekend, needed to get some breakfast. Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out...vs. going to McDonald's. We wanted to find a "local" place. Man, am I glad we came here! Not only are the prices very reasonable, the breakfast that I had was outstanding. Portions are very generous, taking half of my meal back to the motel. The "senior" meals here start at age 55 by the way. Seems like a place that the local people come to...homey, laid back.
