Their food is outstanding and they're deep fried artichokes on their appetizers is outstanding. We got a couple dishes and a couple of appetizers and we have been craving to go back again. The reason they don't get five stars is because they have not thought that modernizing is important and by not having a website. A Facebook page is not a website lol they don't have an up-to-date menu and rely on people to take shitty pictures of menus and post it here and on Google reviews, which is insufficient. I need to be able to order ahead for pickup and relying on crap amateur menu pictures to place my phone order is not doable most of the time and we have to drive out of our way to get there and it's not worth it if I don't know what is on their menu and current prices as most of the many pictures are very old pricing. If they ever realize modernizing is crucial keeping a business going, then I will up this to the amount of stars that they deserve read more

This was a great stop on my drive back from California to Seattle. The location right off I-5 is super convenient, and there's plenty of parking, which is always a plus when you're traveling. The staff were very pleasant -- I was greeted cheerfully right when I entered. The inside has a classic diner atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming, exactly as shown in the photos. I ordered the BLT sandwich with added avocado, fries as my side, and a salad from the side menu. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot after a long drive. Solid breakfast. Nothing fancy. Partner had the English muffin breakfast sandwich. The sausage patty was the star, it was big juicy and yummy. They should use something other than the super processed cheap American cheese though, that was a big chemical tasting distraction from an otherwise good sandwich. I had two eggs with hashbrows and an English muffin. I asked for my eggs to be soft scrambled...and they were perfect. That is not usual as soft scrambled is very hard to do right. The hashbrowns were frozen (so are the country potatoes according to the server) so not horrible but not great. My English muffin was toasted well and buttered well so points for that. It was packed on a recent Sunday & seemed well supporting by the local ranching/farming community. The staff were very friendly & efficient. The food is reasonably priced. I can not rave enough about this place. I live 5 hours away and every-time I'm here visiting I insist we stop because the biscuits and gravy can not be beat. The service is always 5 stars which says a lot because every time I go it is packed. The staff here are working hard to give you a positive experience everytime. Hidden in an unexpected area (next to the livestock auction) is Kenny's Kitchen. They took over the building from what was formerly known as the Branding Iron. We wandered in here around 11:30am on a Monday morning and were very surprised to see how busy this place was! It looked like the crowd you would expect on a weekend. That's when we had a feeling the food is probably pretty good... we were sat at the bar top because there were no open tables. Yes, on a Monday. The portions are super generous, and everyone seemed to really enjoy their food. I ordered the Country fried steak and eggs (held the potatoes and toast because I can't cheat THAT much) and the portions were massive. They served me 3 eggs, a steak double the size I expected and a heaping load of gravy. And it was so yummy! Overall a really solid breakfast/lunch place that's worth checking out if you're ever hanging out in or driving through the Cottonwood area. Definitely recommend! read more

Kenny's Kitchen is a really nice place to eat at. This place is located in Cottonwood, Ca. Not to far from Redding. The food here is so good that we had to wait for about 45 minutes that day to be sat at a table. This place also has really large cheese burgers with lots of fries. I was here with my parents since I was up in the area visiting them. I highly recommend this place, the food is worth the wait. read more

If you're looking for a folksy, hometown, everyone knows everyone kind of place for a good breakfast at a reasonable price, this is it! It's not fancy but has lots of character We both had scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon with a biscuit and gravy and it was really tasty! They even took heed to my request for extra crispy bacon which is always a crap shoot. This place is a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. The food is excellent. We split a tritip sandwich. The staff delivered it to us on 2 plates without asking for that. It was good quality meat. The walls are covered in brands used to identify cattle. There's a mural about the history (maybe now too) of the cowboys grazing their cattle in the meadows nearby.
