I currently have a unit and I went to drop some stuff off today and noticed rat shit and nesting…read moreeverywhere and I look up and the ceiling was boarded up with obvious signs of something falling down, and I received absolutely no communication from the facility that this occurred in my unit and every single possession that I had in there is covered in rat feces and rat urine thousands of dollars just down the drain and then they tried to make me pay for a new unit. Management was utterly useless. I'm going to have to go back tomorrow to speak to someone higher up and get this solved. I'm out memories possessions that belong to dead relatives that I can never get back because they're obviously dead. Not to mention the emotional distress that I am now receiving because of this, if they had given me a call that some thing had occurred I could've possibly have saved some items and when I went inside to ask them if they had anything in their system regarding it she outright said no, no one said anything to them. There was nothing in the system about anything wrong with my unit this is blatant negligence and completely ridiculous.

Milford Self storage, with the indoor climate controlled units were always great. We used them in the summer and fall - we visited our unit often, almost weekly, and the temperature never fluctuated - we are extremely pleased with them and will use them when we need storage again.

I have always been on time with my bank doing auto payments. When I called my call was not returned, when I called again I was very rudely treated. Move if you want to was the general tone. When I asked to talk to a higher management I was told a firm NO. When I ask to have higher management call me, I was also told NO. It has always been very well maintained, but what is next.

I went there to pick up a reserved 6' x 12' trailer and they told me I had to hook the trailer to my car by myself! WHAT???? I couldn't believe what I heard, even questioned her several times and was told she couldn't lift a trailer onto a hitch and I have to do it myself. Let's see, they rent trailers but can't hook them to you vehicle.
